Jeff and his staff are top notch. Providing high quality sales and service to our commercial fleet and personal vehicles. Highly trusted and highly recommended!
Kia of Milford was able to finance me when nobody else could. The sales people and manager made me feel at home and now because of Kia of Milford, I am able to feel like a person again. Having a decent car with no worries is taken for granted. Owning the car I purchased from Kia has been an experience I am unable to explain. I will forever be grateful for what Kia has done for me. THANK YOU.
I have a Saab 9-3, and this place was recommended for service. I loved coming to this Kia (Milford) ~ I have never been treated so nicely! I am a female and all the car stuff has always been handled by my husband, but not this time. They were so kind, everyone, but especially Jessica and Julie. I was wondering if you work on other types of cars.Thank you Kia of Milford (Service Department).
I purchased one car from this dealer. Kasey Curran was the guy dealing with me and he is really very very good. I felt like buying car from a friend.Thank you Kasey for your help and being a good sales guy.
Great experience at Kia of Milford. Sales staff was friendly and helpful. This was the first dealership where the salesman work as a team to make me the customer happy special thanks to Tony, Casey, Jeff and Dave.PSFirst time Kia buyer and I love my new car.
I went there before work, had my old car traded in and the new car (a 2014 forte ex) financed and registered in about 3 hours. Kevin Wright got me in and out fast, which I really appreciated having to work that day, but fast also means thorough, I had a tour of the service area which was offsite from the showroom as well. I got a nicely equipped new car at a fair price and I have no complaints having put 1000 miles on it so far. Kevin, and KIA of Milford are just fine in my book. In fact, you should give him a raise, he makes your company look good and obviously knows how to sell.
My husband and I had an appointment with Dave Thomas on Saturday, 5/09/15, to try and possibly see if we would be able to get a brand new car. Once we got to our appointment, we were seated with Dave only to be told to go with someone else to run our credits, which was okay..., so the man helping us..filled out the credit report form for both me and my husband, mind you, we had explained multiple times how both of our credits are very poor...we werent expecting much help to be honest with our current situation (late payments here and there, unpaid medical bills, etc.) so it came to no surprise the result in the end but what really upset my husband and I was the treatment by Dave, we didnt have much interaction with him at all..once our credit report came back, Dave came over to us and handed the keys back to my husband, of our car we wanted to put down as down payment and told us very sternly, We cant help you. And walked away, he seemed bothered and aggravated..The customer service here was very very poor, I would not recommend this Kia office to anyone.
I used to dread the process of looking for a new or used car, but not since we happened across KIA of Milford. And I say happened because my wife and I were looking for a gently used car a few years back, and walked into this dealership as we took our obligatory drive which had us visit many of the varied dealers in Milford. When we stopped at the KIA dealership the experience was pleasantly different from most others we had just visited, there was no pressure by anyone to get us to buy a car there - and we liked the experience. This no pressure approach is what we have come to enjoy and expect. The lack of high pressure salesmanship in cars is not gone from all dealerships in the Milford area as I could pick a few others close by which still use the hard sell approach and maybe there are people out there who want to be pushed around and sold cars they cant afford, but this dealership seems to know they have cars priced fairly, and there has never been a need to try and oversell us or switch our wishes from the car we were looking for to a different model or year, just so the sales person could extract a more lucrative commission dollars out of the buyer. This dealership seems to be positioned for the repeat buyer in everything they say and do. So as a result I am happy to say we are repeat buyers of gently used cars from KIA of Milford, we just purchased our third vehicle from them this week, and I feel very good about the entire experience. In this time of research which can be done by the buyer, if you do a little homework ( and even if you dont ) then you can be assured that you will be treated with respect here at the Sales Department. I have never bought a brand new car here, ( and frankly I see no reason to purchase a brand new car again anywhere ever because we dont need one ) but I would expect the treatment to be the same from the sales people. If you are wondering why we dont buy new cars any more - my answer is easy, new cars are not good investments and that should not come as a surprise to any informed consumer. So let the folks who need a new car buy or lease one from KIA, and then when they return it in a year or two - you can count on a large segment of informed consumers who are happy to pick up a great value car that is in great shape and in almost new condition. Do your homework, and buy a 1 or 2 year old car which has been Pre-Certified meaning it qualifies for coverage under the remaining original warranty. I really do think you will have a good experience in Sales that should carry over to their Service Department. I can recommend this dealership to friends and family. When you stop by ask for Kevin but if he is not there youll be in good hands with any of the other sales folks at KIA of Milford.Cheers !
I purchased a used SAAB and had a wonderful experience. The sales person Tony Oliva was great to work with as was the manager Reilly. Follow up service team was excellent.
I initially had reservations going into a Kia dealership simply due to the fact that I had never liked Kia or Hyundai but was willing to give it a shot. I spoke to a very nice salesperson named Jay. When I gave him my price range he showed me a 2004 Hyundai Entourage. I loved it!! My husband came down and test drove the car and also loved the car. That night we put a significant deposit down on the car, signed a commit to the car and were very excited to be able to bring it home in a few days.A day later, we were told that they are unable to sell us the car because it had safety issues and it would cost the almost 2k to fix it and they were unwilling to do so. Instead, they showed us a Dodge Caravan which I also loved and we were told that it was only 2k over what we were willing to spend. My husband increased our offer by 1.5k (very reasonable) and we were told that the owner of the dealership Jeff Zee was unwilling to sell us the Dodge.I was infuriated by the whole process. First of all, how can you show a car to a potential buyer AND commit to selling them the car WITH a deposit down on the car prior to running it through the normal checks for safety. Second of all, I was thoroughly upset to hear that the owner wasnt even willing to negotiate with us. And finally now REALLY upset that we still have not received our deposit back from the dealership now 15 days later.I will NEVER shop at any of Jeff Zees dealership...
I purchased a used 2012 vehicle from this Zee dealership. Casey Curran was the salesman dealing with me and Casey was really VERY HELPFUL and a MAN of his word. Casey is VERY honest and he went out of his way to help me make this deal. Thank you Casey for your help and closing my deal. I will try to send Casey as many customers as possible.Thank you for a pleasant deal, Rob Spadaccino
Ive been going to Kia of Milford since 2009. I trust Kia of Milford with my car. They let me know what I need and find ways to accomodate me when my car is being serviced. If you are looking for a place where you feel comforatble try Kia of Milford. You wont be disappointed.
Went to Kia of Milford in October of 2014, was really interested in purchasing a new Optima. When I got there I told them I was just looking for now as I was about to go on vacation and didnt want to commit to anything new until I came back. They told me that they could work something out so I would not have to pay right away so I decided to look at some cars. Test drove a couple of optimas and finally found one I liked. I told them straight up the payment I was looking for and what I had to work with, I was told everything was fine put down some money and they told me that I could pick up my new optima in a couple of days........When that day came went to the dealership and was told the optima monthly payment pretty much doubled to what I was willing to pay so they showed me some other cars. I settled on a 2011 Sonata. The only issue I have had with them was the whole optima issue because it would of saved just a little more time instead of guaranteeing me the car was going to be mine to just simply say we will let you know once we hear back. Basically telling me the car was mine before talking to any banks, but of course as the customer I didnt know that they have not spoken to any banks as of yet. Besides that the service was good, and I have had no issues with services but then again I did purchase the extended warranty because the car was bought used.
I brought my Kia in for a recall and to have them look at why the gas cap was not opening.. First time I brought it in, the wrong part had been ordered and the service dept couldnt call me to tell me this. Second time I brought my Kia in for the recall, again the wrong part had been ordered again for the recall, and though they kept my car over an hour and said the gas cap was fixed, it wasnt. In addition to this, they managed to disconnect my cruise control and dislodge one of my tire sensors. Third trip, they managed to get the recall addressed and fixed the cruise control and the gas cap but refused to do anything about the sensor issue unless I chose to pay for what they broke. Really poor customer service in my opnion,
EXcellent!! My salesmen Dave Thomas was outstanding not only did they beat another dealerships price, but the service I recieved from Dave Thomas was first class. I highly recommend Kia of Milford, and if you want a fair deal with low pressure go see Dave Thomas.
The salesman I first dealt with was a complete liar. He informed me the wheels and tires on the car I was looking at were worth $6000 alone, amongst other things. No, they are worth $1800 brand new with top of the line tires, not beat up like the ones on the car. However, the salesman was too busy playing on his phone to care what I had to say. I bought the car a few days later from the GM with a 60 day warranty, but they made me sign the paper work with the date I first looked at the car, cutting down on the 60 day warranty. I picked up the car and found several problems with it after having it a few days. The main ones that come to mind are the navigation system did not work at all (even though the window sticker advertised it with navigation), the headlights were broken, there was a rough idle, the transmission was difficult to shift, the rear suspension was uneven, and there was a brake grinding noise. After playing one-sided phone tag, sending emails, and leaving voicemails with this dealership for a month and a half I finally got ahold of someone and they said I could bring it in. Ironically their finance agent was free to call me whenever he needed a payment, but everyone else at the dealership was ignoring me, knowing that once they hit the 60 day mark they wouldn’t be liable to fix it. I dropped the car off and they had it for almost a month without giving me a loaner car. It took them that long to tell me they weren’t going to fix any of the issues, even though they told me to bring it in. After playing enough of their games I went and picked up the car only to find that they broke the shift knob, broke the headlight washer system, the check engine light was now on, and there was weird noises coming from the engine and rear end. Oh, but they still want my money! They rave that they have the best customer service in Connecticut but they disappear when it comes time to honor their warranty. How this car passed their inspection is beyond me. They want you to bend over backwards for them but won’t lift a finger for you. If that’s how you like doing business, Kia of Milford is the place to shop. Now I’m stuck with a car that is not even enjoyable to drive because of all its issues, issues I have to pay to get fixed myself.
Thank you Dave for your excellent service once again, we are thrilled with you our Sportage and Soul and KIA. Excellent sales and service. Well be back again for sure!
I was recommended to Kia of Milford from my sister who had nothing but positive things to say.I went in there doubting her. My prior experiences at other dealerships were nothing short of horrendous. I worked with Jeff and Dave at Kia. I explained to Jeff my needs for a car as well as my budget. He put me in the perfect vehicle, the Sorrento with all the bells and whistles.I absolutely love this car and it was well within my budgeted price. Also, I love this dealership and have since recommended several friends and colleagues to them, all of which are equally satisfied. In reading some of the other reviews of negative experiences with this dealership I sincerely have to say you cannot please all the people all the time and perhaps these people were not honest, non working, credit risk individuals that look at others to blame.Jeff Zee, GM at Kia of Milford has been a local reptuable, honest, knowledgable professional that has been in the car business for over 30 years. He and his staff go above and beyond to satisfy all.If ever anyone has any doubts, his above credentials tell the real story.
I was in the market for trading in my car but was apprehensive about looking at new cars due to affordability. I went to Kia to look at a Pontiac vibe. Dave at Kia advised me that they didn’t make Pontiacs anymore and asked if I would be interested in looking at a kia. After researching further and telling him exactly what I could afford not only did they give me $1,000 more on my trade in than any of the other dealerships but also charged me $100 less on the deposit. The next day I had a certified pre owned kia within my budget. A few days later I had noticed a few minor cosmetic flaws and my Sirius has not been activated and Dave got right back to me got my car in the next day and by noon they took care of all of it. I had come from dealing with Napoli of Milford where I had the worst experience so working with this dealership was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car.
Not pleasant. Salesman threw a hissy fit when we walked out without the deal. Telling us any BS just for us to sign. Manager never takes the time to get up from his throne to help move things along.
Excellent Service
