Theyve not only been servicing my cars for years, but I purchased two used cars from them and couldnt have been happier. Knowledgeable, honest and fair.....hard to find these days with auto repair shops, but Autoworks nails all three!

I have used Devon Auto Works for several years and dont trust anyone else. I trust what Greg tells me and on several occasions has told me I dont need that done yet. He has helped twice with minor problems I dropped by with and didnt charge me. He cares about his customers and have never been shocked by a bill. His pricing is very fair and I have found him to be less expensive than anyone Ive ever gone to. He has built my trust over many years now and wont go anywhere else even though his shop is a 25 min drive from my house.

Greg was fantastic. From our first phone call, he listened and remembered when I scheduled an appointment what we originally talked about. I didn’t need to worry like most mechanics that tell you that you need something you don’t - Greg did exactly what I asked for, and did a fantastic job too, and when I asked about my brakes he was honest with me, and said I didn’t need them changed yet. Never got that response from a mechanic! I was in a rush that day, and he offered a loaner vehicle too, for no extra charge. The dealership I bought my car from didn’t even do that! I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a reliable, flexible & honest mechanic. When he rang up the total too, I was shocked! Incredibly fairly priced, maybe too fair 😊 Thank you Greg! I’ll be scheduling any other work such as brakes and rotors with this place moving forward.

I brought my Toyota Camry here because it was stalling. They did not fix the problem. They charged me $400 to fix a break line hose that cost $30 and a sensor that cost $60. Also it didn’t seem like my car was a priority my car was there over a week with no work being done. The price for labor per hour here is very expensive at $120 an hour. I won’t ever go back. And I wouldn’t recommend.

We live in Bethel and we were considering purchasing a vehicle from a person that buys and sells cars in the Milford area. We decided to bring it to Auto Works based on the reviews here. Guys, the hype is the real deal. Greg and the team at Auto Works know their stuff. Greg was able to get the vehicle in the same day and gave us a full inspection on the vehicle with very short notice. He was very accommodating considering we were out of town and on a time crunch. It only took a couple hours and they discovered numerous issues with the vehicle that we didnt know about. It literally saved us north of $10K for a small inspection fee. Greg walked me through everything line by line and explained it all and the potential cost of the repairs. We decided to not purchase the car based on Gregs findings and counsel. If you need repairs done to your car or you need a car checked out before you buy it, do yourself a favor and bring it to Auto Works. You will regret it if you dont! 5 stars!

Three of the biggest qualities I look for in someone or a business that I would deal with. They Fixed my issues and when I had an issue not worth fixing; they where honest and said I shouldnt, but they will do whatever I would like to do. I really appreciated their transparency with me. Greg and his team always do great work, and their prices are very reasonable. He does my oil changes, and has me in and out quickly. I stopped in yesterday unannounced and asked if he could replace my windshield wipers. He has me out of there in two minutes. Great service!

Called the shop first thing this morning to check out my flat tire. They were able to get my car on a lift right away. They found two nails, fixed the issue, and it only cost me $30 for just under 2 hours worth of work despite having to take the tire off to patch it from the inside. I chose Autoworks because it is an independently-owned shop and for its proximity to my home. Greg & crew all seem to be straight-talkers, not trying to sell me anything. It helps that I almost always have an idea of what the problem is before I bring the car in, but I believe that they would be honest and straightforward to anyone whether they have any knowledge of cars inner function or not. You dont need to take my word for it, though - just look at the overwhelming number of 5-star reviews on this place and you should feel very confident that youve made the right choice when bringing your car to Autoworks of Devon. Of course, I wish the price were a little lower, but I suppose thats just a symptom of the excessive costs for everyone doing business in Connecticut.
