Good selection, lots of different items to choose from. I really like all the unusual food brands they carry. Maybe this is just bad luck on my part, but it always seems like theres a long wait for checkout no matter when I go. Thats the only major downside here.

It was my first visit and being Im not from the area I asked an associate her name is Micki, it was such a pleasure speaking to her and assisting me with what I was searching for as my foot was bandaged coming from the doctor. She explained in details how the store works. She was a breath of fresh air, as many stores have young adults with very explicative words & grand attitudes. Im very happy and satisfied with my purchase today, that tomorrow I will be returning for some more gifts for my family.

I wander around the store and always find something unusual and fascinating like these pineapple tiki torches and this tiki statue thats solar & lights up at night.and this fly trap for my yard .

Great find for a variety of things.Also has many unusual food brands from other countries like England. Prices for honey, coconut oil and such better than grocery store. Bought a fire pit under 70.00! They have kayaks too.

They pretty much carry a little of everything, including food.

Lots of great deals on items if you know how to compare prices and brands. Also carries products that you may not find at other retailers such as, flannel backed vinyl tablecloths! I have not been able to find them anywhere else and they are great when you have little kids!! 👍👍

Ocean State Job Lot is a great place to go if you need different items from one store. They always have what Im looking for, the store is neat and well organized. The staff is very friendly and nice, they will help you find whatever you need and take you to it. I do recommend this store, youll have to check it out and see what a great place it Really is.

Great customer service. Went there for some pool supplies and found what I needed and the associate was very helpful and answered all my questions. Just wasnt happy that at the checkout cashier rang me out and didnt ask to remind about the my rewards card.

Went there looking to find a nice patio set but only found nothing but gazebos. It was pretty dark especially in the blankets and dog aisle. Fair prices in some patio decor. Could be better organized

We love it but u really have to shop to find the best deals bc really its not much a difference in prices. But i always end up buying a few things they carry a very good collection of all diff styles of socks and pool and outdoor and garden supplies they have. A few isles of food / snacks but not into what food they carry but other wise pretty good store thd ones that were down south were alittle better .but if u like to shop and bargain hunt and u catch the sale days u can get a great deal but i do reccomend going bc i bet u cant leave without buying something

Good bang for the buck. The store is a bit busy, lots of product and maybe could use a better organized system but they had what we needed. The shopping carts are rather awful but that is to be expected with a discount chain, I would imagine.

OSJL is quickly becoming my favorite store! Its not fancy by any means, but you can get so many things at a huge discount. I made another trip yesterday and loaded up on pet treats, socks, gloves and many food items, all at much lower prices than anywhere else. You do have to check expiration dates because some of the food is short-dated. For the holidays they ask for donations for local food banks and make an announcement and ask the whole store to cheer. They make bargain shopping fun!

Whenever I visit this store I usually find specific items I am looking for and I always come away with an unexpected surprise find. And while each store has some of the same merchandise, each one also has different different surprise goodies. Great for gifts as well👍🏽!

The layout of this place is horrible. Its like a maze and you have to walk between long aisles to find things advertised in their flyer (like clothes not with the rest of the clothes) so for someone with a bum ankle, its not a fun place to shop. A lot of the food items cost as much or more than anywhere else, but there are a few gems in there. This store doesnt seem to have much of the Bobs Red Mill products I saw on their website last year. They had a great selection of summer swim and pool stuff, but bathing suits were more expensive than Walmart. The batch of summer outdoor flower pots were amazing and unbeatable prices. I like going in and finding great deals but have to remind myself that just because they have something there doesnt mean its cheaper than elsewhere. Its easy to go in for the really great bargains and end up grabbing other things that add up and offset the savings because of that. Worth checking out regularly, just watch for items that dont live up to the price hype.

Always something to find at this chain. This store is larger than the Orange store and seems to have more stock. Friendly, hard working staff. Always fun to shop here.

Love there prices they have a a lot of stuff but last time I was there the important things I needed they didn’t have.

This is the second time I am at this particular location with a return and as soon as I walk into the store I try to stand at customer service and am told to go to the pink sign and someone will call me. Of course only the people at customer service can do returns and not all registers, so I wait and always get called by one of the other registers and then am asked to go stand at the customer service desk because they cant do a return! It is utterly ridiculous and a waste of my time therefore I will never visit this location again and do not recommend them to others either.

My favorite Ocean State store and I like it best. Because its so popular there are shortages by the end of the day. I get a lot of food items here and found some nice things. Go early before they run out of stuff as this one is very popular and gets busy often.

This is the store you go to if you can not find it anywhere else. It has everything . I would have given a 5 star but I was disappointed with the fact that out of the very abundant toy supply you have for the holidays- they were ALL Caucasian. The toys need more diversity please. and I am Caucasian and was offended. I understand you cant control what I sent to the store- but some how this needs to be conveyed to those purchasing-

Love the prices, love the amount of product they have. Their sales are great on items that otherwise would cost twice elsewhere when in sale and the quality of the products is about equal. My wife and I shop there all the time. We especially love getting the 100% maple syrup. The prices on that ate unbeatable.

Love Ocean State they have some real great deals there. A friend of mine and I really enjoy crazy deals which allow you to purchase a product and then get a gift card sometimes for the entire cost of the purchase or close to it. They have great products of good quality.

Very nice place to walk around in and find some good deals if you ever have time just to walk through the place itll take you a good hour or so and youll find something you never thought would be there. They have all kinds of imported foods and garden supplies and just about anything you would need. Some of the stuff is that lower quality but a reasonably priced

Myself and my husband went into the store to but there 119 easy up canopy well the box was taped on top my husband was a bit hesitant bout it at check out he brought it to the checkout lady attention and we brought it home which we live right behind the store 20 minutes later we bring the box back because it look like it’s been through hell they had the nerve to say that we put an old product of what to do when there is a bag in a box to return or you kidding me they could not get my husband to his money back they gave a customer services number to call we are fighting this why in the hell would we every do that hard working ppl we actually purchase the same one 3 weeks ago we wanted another one to put in the yard for shade anyway oh yeah the girl said to manager I didn’t see this box taped on top so manager even looked at video omg this is crazy there so rude the workers are always out side smoking there store is like 100 degrees in there very uncomfortable to shop plus the box had termites in the damn box !!!!!! Make sure you check everything u buy there they lostA good customers 🤬
