The Paper Store is usually my number one place to go to buy presents. I went to the store this morning (8/11/20) and bought a small Vera Bradley One-Strap Backpack and some other smaller items. As I was checking out I asked the lady behind the cash register for a box and she said she only had boxes for t-shirts, although I could clearly see the t-shirt boxes were large and my bag would clearly fit. I then asked for one again and she replied in a very rude tone and treating my like a young child saying: “We can’t just give away boxes for items you didn’t purchase, it’s too costly”. I’m sorry, is spending $100 at this store not enough cost to get a cardboard box that you give away for free? I guess not. Terrible experience and the women that checked me out should be taught to RESPECT the customer, not degrade them or at least actually show them the box size. I hope if I ever return that the workers will be taught how to be respectful to customers entering the store.

Nice store, have lots if things to look at. Great place to look for a gift. They carry Hallmark cards too. They sell jewelry and clothes too.

So I guess Hallmark stores are now the paper store. Still has a good selection of cards. Do people still send cards? Good selection of Vera Bradley stuff. Things seem on the pricey side. Great store if you need a gift and have no idea what to get someone.

My girlfriend loves this store....therefore..I love this store....if its a holiday or a birthday this is where I go to get alot of the gifts for her and they dont disappoint...the staff is extremely helpful and they have sales or deals on many items

Terrible customer service. Bought 2 items - paid cash & with a gift card. I was told when I tried to return one item, the refund could only be done as a store credit. Since the gift card was $25 and that paid for the shirt I did not return, I find it ridiculous that they refused to refund me the cash I spent. I feel like its always a headache in there. Save yourself the hassle and choose a more reputable gift store.
