Waited 40 minutes for a curbside pick up BEFORE being told I had to be there in person for this $15 order as a security precaution even though I am checking in on the app while my husband picks up. Had to call the store to speak with a manager who after some back and forth agreed to give the order to my husband. Then another 15 minutes go by still no orders, had to call again to finally complete this wonderful curbside pick up. Total waste of an hour +.First and last time for Walmart curbside. There’s a reason people prefer Target.
We actually had a good time and found everything we needed and more!! They have all the latest holiday decor. Warm winter cozy socks was our purpose of this visit but we found much more. The subway stand is open if you want a sandwich.
The store is going through a reorganization and it shows, the associates range from helpful to melancholy. I think paying a living wage would greatly improve customer service.
Typical Walmart.... very limited fresh produce/meat selection at this Walmart. Rarely see more than 1-2 cashiers. They encourage shoppers to use the self serve area... not a big fan of the self serve option... forced to process my own checkout and in paying the same price #notcool
Very big store with a great selection of everything.They need MORE employees. I waited for 40 minutes for someone to finally open the case where they sell electric shavers. Five different employees that I had to track down to get help could not help me. Each one saying theyre going to send someone over to me, that never happened!!Finally l went to make a complaint asking to speak to a supervisor at the service desk and thats when I got the help that I needed.
I usually always find what Im looking for when I go in there, although every Wal-Mart is different. If you visit the one near Connecticut post mall make sure you bring your own bags as they do not carry the plastic and they charge you for the paper ones if they have them.
Worst experience to date inside a Walmart. I was appalled by the nasty disrespectful attitude shown to me by whichever employee was in the self checkout area on Thursday 10-21-21 @ 1130 am. I asked for 1 bag and seeing I interrupted her and her phone she nastily stated no bags that was all she said. I could see others walking from the store with bags so obviously she is a liar. Stood a Service desk for 15 min before finally leaving. Nobody should have to bring items from any store home like this. NOBODY😡😡 Staff should have there phones shut off while working. It was done this way for many years before smart phones...never come here again😵😵😵
Not the worst Walmart Ive seen, but not far off either. This place is always super chaotic, loud, very crowded, no matter when you go. Not the staffs fault in that case, but it makes for a pretty miserable shopping experience.The displays in a lot of areas are pretty messy. A lot of the staff members Ive encountered arent particularly helpful either, but maybe thats just bad luck on my part. But it seems like for every decent answer to a question I ask, I get 5 people telling me they dont know or sending me on a wild goose chase around the store.The positives are the prices, which in a lot of cases are really good. Thats basically the only reason to come here.
The Walmart in West Haven is the worst. Never stocked well, cant find keys when you need something that is locked up. This has happened to me 5 times. Workers arent very helpful or pleasant. Rather go to the Milford store.

Walmart has the worst customer service ever. The line for the customer service return was very long and there was no front end manager or any manager to instruct someone to go behind the customer service registered to help. everyone standing around with cell phone in their hands or earpiece or walking around looking stupid. The wait time was 1 hour to return two items very bad customer service this was Sunday October 10th. According to them Bill is the manager for that shift where was Bill? I asked to speak to a manager the staff pretended as if he was paging someone they never came forward. This just added the icing to the cake why I hate going to Walmart especially in my hometown of Stratford.
For the most part everybody that works here r generally helpful!! I have never had any problems with anything i am looking for being out of stock.. Always get what i am going for & as of yet i have never had any issues with the staff!! Decent store overall!!!
Had to run after the girl who worked in the electronics dept then when I got to her she acted like I was interrupting her .. these associates need to realize that without customers they have no job
Refused to accept a return during normall business hours asked to speak with a manager the two womens said they were managers and could not help us. We were following the return guidelines and policy. It took us arguing with the two womens for a half hour for her to finally help us. She could of helped us from the beginning but was unwilling and refused to. I took a older women threatening to call the police for her to finally help. Another worker laughed in our face, was yelling and made racial comments about my boyfriend under her breath

I found my most favorite (stop right there Lenore! or you will blow your cover....)food in the refrigerated section and I leave it to the reader to guess what it is....
No one ever answers phone. It Doesnt matter what department you call. It rings and rings rings and rings with no voicemail. Im always put on hold without my permission. It doesnt matter if you have a 10 second question, expect to be put on hold for an average of 30 mins and up to 15 hours, its sad, but Im not joking. Consider paying your employees more or hiring more people or preferably both.

Milford Walmart usually give great customer service, occasionally there is a bad apple. Aways clean here and shelf are usually stocked. I travel from West Have to go to this walmart.

This is my first time at this Walmart in Milford Connecticut that Walmart is huge! I will not be going back to the Walmart in Norwalk! The Walmart in Norwalk had nothing on the shells and Ive never seen it like that before! They had no jeans that had no socks that had no t-shirts that had no underwear it was just a waste of my time driving there so I put find nearest Walmart the nearest Walmart was in Milford thats where we drove to enjoy the drive enjoy the town a lot of great stores up in Milford and I will be traveling there again to do my shopping at that particular Walmart!

Horrible woman who was working at the express checkout lane. Yesterday. Or the day before. Stopped me and told me I have to go to a register because I had to many items. Literally blocking me from going to a self checkout. Where all I had to do was use a scan it tool. I mostly had big items that could be scanned and. I would have been done quickly. But the lady made me go to the register. Which the cashier was a chatty Kathy and slow. I would have already been done in the self checkout by the time she finished with the customer. I normally use the walmart in Hamden where they have all self scan except 1. This woman was harassing me and there wasnt even a line. She was being lazy. Didnt want to watch me scan everything. Ridiculous next time she better put a sign up. It didnt say 20 items or less in the express lane. Its a fast lane and she made me go slower then I wanted. I will scan my own items myself. Thats why its called a SELF-CHECK OUT!!!!SHE WAS ON HER HIGH HORSE. When I find out her name Im editing it in. So, yall can avoid her. Young people should have the option for self-scan and elderly or older folk should have the option for register and vice versa. Lazy workers who make others work harder and for what just because youre on a power trip! Get a life and let me scan my stuff quick and leave. Took way longer than needed.
Same old walmart tendencies...you ask for help and they act like you slapped there momma and god forbid you want a cashier instead of self checkout...when I was there they had ZERO cashiers and when I asked for one they told me self checkout was my only option take it or leave it. good luck.
I really like the workers, theyre are extremely wonderful and nice and are one of the reasons I keep going back. Also the prices and choices are great.
They have great pricing on oil changes. I had to wait for a little more than half an hour. I was told that when I brought the car in. So no issues there. The only let down was I couldnt find a kiosk to scan my ticket, so I never knew the status of the oil change. Maybe I didnt look hard enough...or maybe there were none in an easily access point. Either way..they get 5 stars for the oil change and 3 stars for ease of access to kiosk. So I guess that nets out to 4 stars.
Display prices on the shelves could be better.

This is specifically for an employee in the auto parts section of the store. An employee named Shayla went above and beyond to help me with a situation with my tires. Not only is she professional, she was very polite and kind. Definitely an asset to your team!
Worst Walmart I’ve ever been to. Either have food or not. No produce, meat, or bags. Garbages were overflowing. Seemed like a k-mart or Sears

Walmart supercenter is the place to go for most everything. Great selection of food, clothing, electronics, fishing, auto supplies, household necessities and a seasonal department that keeps you current with the local weather conditions.I’ve noticed that the Walmart employees are most helpful and when you are looking for something they are always ready to take you to the shelf where it is. If you need the price of an item, they have those handheld scanners that offer it right up.

Took my brother to cash his stimulus check, was there for 30 min in line, when it was my turn they told me the check cashing computer was down... Right after we went to the Saw Mill Rd Walmart and it went very fast, under 10 min. Post Rd should have told everyone check cashing was down instead of making us all wait to find out one at a time!

Parking Lot is always covered in litter. Majority of staff is unwilling to help with anything, rude upon asking, etc. Shelves are not stocked and items from different departments are scattered everywhere. Every employee I see here is either texting or having a full blown inappropriate conversation on thier cell phones while blatantly ignoring or rudely responding to customers as if they are all a nuisance. Sorry someone interrupted you expecting you to do what your paid to do. So fed up with everyones poor attitudes and manners.
I started my morning at the West Haven Walmart. The bottle machine there is still broken its been about two weeks now from what I can remember. So then I decide to try Milford there bottle machine is full. The message on the Machine said to Get an associate, which I did tell the guy right up front. He said we know someone is coming I waited there for 20 minutes starring at the guy waiting for him to get on a walkie talkie to figure how much longer it was going to take to get a key and empty out a bag from inside a machine. I had to eventually leave, I would like to know if there is a preferred time to do bottle returns, and if so what time is that?

Its Walmart. They are all the same so everyone knows what to expect. This Walmart is ok but if your a collector for hot wheels, wrestling figures or whatever, good luck. The toy department is usually a mess. Huge gaps where product should be but are not. If you collect Funko products that too is few and far between for new products. All and all like i said, its Walmart.

Has everything you need and even a decent grocery section for not being a super center. The 2 star rating is because going to this location in particular for even one thing that you know exactly where it is takes no less than twenty minutes. Check out takes For. Ev. Er. Its a pretty high traffic store, rarely is the parking lot less than half full, and there are well over 20 POS locations in the front between self check out and cashiers.However, youd be hard pressed to find more than 2 cashiers open, often down at the opposite end from self checkout and both in the same lane (the tobacco counter), with the line between the two meeting in the middle of a sea of shut down registers. On weekends you may have one or two open in separate lines in the middle. One would think they need to hire more people, but at any given time at least 3 employees, often at least 1 with a radio to indicate they are a supervisor or shift lead, can be seen congregating, having lively discussions with each other and peeking at the lines of irritated people waiting their turn. Fun times. Definitely a last resort on aggravation alone, and Im less than 2 miles away 😕
Received a wireless phone charger as a Christmas gift that was missing a cord. I didnt have a receipt but Walmart was printed right on the box. I just wanted an even exchange of the item. Because I didnt have the receipt, I was charged sales tax on the item I was exchanging! Never heard of such a thing. Sent complaint message on-line with no response. Google informed me there was a class action suit again Walmart for doing this which Walmart is settling. But yet they are still doing this. No where in their posted return policy does it say they charge sales tax on an exchange. Furious!
Getting sick and tired of this one. Nothing but rude people coming in and out. You let them by you and no thank u and no manners. U let them take the last piece of clothing or food and no thank u. The workers don’t do nothing about it especially if they hear or witness it right in front of them. This store could do a lot better than just sit around and announce when a new sale is on.

Its OK if you dont need assistance but if your in need of help it may take a long time or you may not even get it. Alot of the employees say I dont know for just about everything.
The staff are excellent. One gentleman Noel (i believe his name is) was being treated very rudely by a customer. He was cool and polite to the customer. Than when I needed help. He was very helpful to me and my wife. My issue with giving only three stars is, at the checkout, NO sign telling you it was credit only. If i didnt have my card with me I would have had to go to a different line. Or leave my cart there and leave the store.

The store is clean and the staff was friendly, but the shelves were about half stocked for most of the items I needed. Ive been here several times and its always the case. Different things are out of stock, but always lots of grocery items not in stock.
Its a typical Walmart. Frustrating to maneuver the main aisles especially with displays in the middle. A lot of the shelves were empty but I found what I needed. There was only 1 cashier and self check-out only. They really need someone to monitor the self checkout because people leave carriages at machines, walk away to shop some more then return. All the while holding a machine for them. Typical Wallmart. Trying to avoid it as much as possible but sometimes they have deals you cant pass up.
Yes there all time especially there clearance section you can find good items at a good clearance price.
