We love going to union coffee in Milford. Nice atmosphere, cozy shop as well as great coffee!Many time we have gone there to meet up with others and usually find plenty of seating.It’s been fun watching this small town shop evolve. Keep up the good work, guys!

Awesome location. The ambience is amazing, great coffee and a few good beers on tap. Love that they keep expanding. I remember when they first opened and it was just that narrow space by the counter when you first walk in. Its much bigger now! I sometimes call them Onion Coffee Company because it makes me chuckle, but you dont have to call them that. Onion coffee sounds pretty gross

Great atmosphere, coffee was good. Daughter got a hot chocolate that seemed to take a long time to get made. Cinnamon roll was the best part of the visit. Very pricey.

Coffee was delicious, the baristas were quick to share about the different single-origin blends. Atmosphere delightful with sweet plants that I wanted to buy immediately for my own windowsills. Ample seating in and out.As a vege-person, my favorite part was that a vegetarian breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, eng muffin) was $3.50 while the same but with bacon was $5. Ive been to so many coffee shops where you request your sandwich vegetarian and it comes out the same price as a meat-ful one; instead, Union has this straight.Hits all the stars for coffee shop perfection: coffee, food, friendly baristas, and an atmosphere that makes you feel hip and welcome.

There’s nothing like Union coffee in the area!! Amazing coffee and espresso, love the atmosphere and really is an experience! They’re always so friendly and willing to help in anyway. Thank you Union for always making an awesome experience for me!

I enjoy Union’s environment. I love the quality of their breakfast sandwich with the greens on it and avocado. Quality service and i also love that they have an app for mobile orders and a rewards system.

Great coffee and food. I have to admit this place is a little pricey but damn is it good. The coffee is well made every time and the food is always great as well. Ive heard great things about the karaoke nights and they also have a few beers on tap. Ive yet to make it out here a night due to covid but hoping to come out soon.

A beautiful Milford Café. The staff is very kind and ready to help and the interior is very cozy. The drinks and small choice of baked goods are delicious. At night, Union turns into a small stage for local performers and talents. A cultural palace.

Not happy. No Carmel flavor and the salted maple I was given was awful. Almost no one in the place was wearing a mask, including staff. Will not be back.

Love love love coming here! Really cozy atmosphere and fun staff. Especially love the open mic nights or when theres music in general. Phileep is always a blast when he comes and plays!! Coffee and hot chocolates are super delicious here. You should get a salted maple flavor added to your hot chocolate its INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent coffee is sort of hard to find in NH, but these folks do it. I had a latte and bought some whole bean coffee. The latte was superb and the whole bean was excellent. I dont remember the blend I bought, it looked like their signature sort of thing, and although I wish it had been roasted more recently, it was still making delicious cups by the time I got to the end of the bag. I work in Nashua, and look forward to stopping in regularly for more beans and the occasional latte.

While their menu may be on the pricier side, the food, coffee, and service here is well worth it. The staff knows what theyre doing, and gets you your order very quickly with no mistakes. Ive never had a bad experience and I frequent this place. I love their coffee, and hubby loves their tea. We always get their breakfast sandwiches, and we used to get the cheese platter. Everything on the menu tastes delicious. Definitely a great breakfast/lunch place with a calm and casual atmosphere.

As a coffee place, 5stars. Im not a coffee drinker (Dunks=blech!) but Union blends are rich and smooth. It tastes like coffee, not chemicals. As a tea person, Im all in for a well-made London Fog. This place has THE best London Fog south of Toronto and East of Chicago. Not exaggerating, Ive tried MANY. A dash of lavender, vanilla, and they steam it all together with some honey for a touch of sweetness. It is like drinking a warm hug from your Grandma. *Lovely* Yes, parking is limited - thats Milford. Yes, the food is limited - theyre a small town coffee shop & excellent at their craft.

Decent small coffee cafe.Coffee prices are a bit pricey but taste good.Small latte has 2 shots while the large size had 3 shots for ~$5.10.Many large lattes at other coffee cafes ~$4.25.You can pay extra for extra shots, which is fine, but it becomes more pricey.Good spinach/feta croissant at a reasonable price.Friendly staffers.Located in the middle of town of Milford.

This is hands down the best coffee shop on the east coast. Relaxed ambiance, beautiful lighting and friendly staff all make for an experience I am always wanting to come back to. Union is a home away from home and I tell everyone on my travels to visit this gem of a shop. Thankful I live close to people who know how to do coffee right!

Union Coffee has a great selection of specialty lates and breakfast sandwiches. My friends brother used to play at the open mic on Friday nights. Great place to study.

Of all of my “regular stops” pre-CoVid, this was the one I missed most. So happy to enjoy a perfect iced tea at one of the outdoor tables!

Great little coffee shop. In fact its the best coffee you will get in this area, they know how to pull shots and steam milk which isnt something Ive experienced from other shops since moving here. Atmosphere is quaint, friendly and staff are open sweet and efficient. So if youre passing through make sure to stop in you wont be disappointed.

Pretty good coffee and small food items, prices are slightly high but thats all of these new age type coffee places now a days, price was comparable with starbucks but their coffee is 10 times better.

The cleanliness of Union Coffee Company is the first thing you notice walking through the door. Ava and I just moved to Milford and our favorite thing to do is get coffee together in the morning. We were recommended two maple lattes that were unbelievably good, and the customer service they have is also remarkable. This is the best coffee house around! The lavender tea is par excellence if you’re not one for caffeine, like me. You can always see live, local music, in this quaint setting near the “oval”.

When we dont brew the Standard or my personal favorite, North Bound, at home in the french press, we stop in for a cup! The cafe has a little bit of everything, and to my personal enjoyment has some pretty great tea. But for those who prefer coffee or alcohol, or some basic sandwiches or cocoa, they have those too. Theyre just not my cup of tea. ;)They regularly host open mic nights every Friday between 7-9pm, and you show up and write your name on the open mic board to secure your place and notify the staff you wish to go up by arriving no more than 1 hour early. (They clear the board roughly around 6-630 on Fridays) Or you can just go up after talking to the person on the soundboard in the back if you dont feel like writing with chalk.Most who participate mainly play an instrument or sing a song, but theyre open to most anything thats under 2-5 minutes. I must say, nearly everyone is actually really talented. There werent any bombs or bad singers present to my pleasant surprise. Just solid, good talent.Just be warned, its fairly cliche in the song choices though. Almost all songs or topics were about suffering, young love, or similar. Cliche college and hipster and artist stuff. I personally read some poetry I wrote when I attended, but the poem topics I chose were focused on societal issues and suffering. So Im not really an exception. Lol.The workers are pretty relaxed and theres actually a few attractive young ladies, but dont get your hopes up guys. I doubt theyre looking. ;)Though oddly, now that I think on it, I think theres actually 3 women for every man working there and theres almost always at least 2 staff present at any time in their slowest times. 3 staff is most common though. Triangle of safety to prevent getting sued and for witnesses and all that.So there you go feminists! Lol. You get your fix.Overall vibe depends on when you go. In the afternoon its slow and quiet, perfect for interviews, young or new couples on dates, small business meetings, or for some friends to hang out and be hip. The mornings seem to get a lot of foot traffic and to-go coffees and teas, but otherwise seems similar to the afternoon if you sit down. If you attend in the evenings, youre sure to see an assortment of interesting characters and is almost cliche by the variety. Youd know if youve ever seen a cliche hipster cafe or been to a veterans club.I dont recommend going there to sit solo unless youre there for the open mic or the other entertainment they get in from time to time. And while they serve alcohol, they arent a bar. The environment is quite chummy, but the atmosphere is very different if youre solo.For that reason I knocked off half a star.The other half star knocked off is because of them being an amusing cliche and stereotype. -And I cant knock off half stars- lolGive them a shot! Im sure youll enjoy it.

Awesome coffee, amazing beer choices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. With the summer remodel the place is even better. Live entertainment works great in the new layout, socialize with friends on one side or watch a performance on the other.
