Needs more parking. Entrance to small and long.Good food menu.A lot of showers and they are kept busy. The showers are big but not hot because so much use. And not well designed.

Clean facilities, the Wendy’s is good here and it’s in a great location in the middle of town to get shopping done while truck is parked.

This Truck Stop on I-95 exit 40. Pilot on Mile 40 like me and my cousin used to call it. Brings me a lot memories, because that was one of Truck stops we used to visit and stay for days in 2013 to 2015 when I started driving from California to Maine. Good memories.

We usually have decent experience with pilot stops and prefer Loves 9 out of 10 times. Usually due to the fact that a lot of times for some reason showers are not available. But this one is very good. Showers are nice and clean and over all good atmosphere. Only thing shower head pressure is little low (At least in shower #4). Other than good travel center.

I paid for parking and there’s still no parking here the cops won’t help and the pilot manager says he can’t do anything. Do not pay for parking here just pull in obviously they won’t do anything

Mens bathroom consists of a toy hauler trailer that smells like an abandoned sewage plant. Womens restrooms closed and using dilapidated shower room. 4 showers available with 3 hour wait; 24 customers waiting. Wendys employees seem to have been on work furlough from a correctional facility with the lack of customer service and rude a.f. ... The good thing is that the washing machines and dryers work good and theres no wait times right now. 15Apr2019.

Stayed here 3 nights in a row and waited over 2 hours every night for a shower. If you stop here to take a shower plan on waiting!!!!!! The PJ fresh food is good and the place is clean.

Have stopped here often through the years on the way up to New England. Its always been clean. Staff friendly. Basic facilities including a laundry makes it quite useful.Parking is a bit on the tight side though.If its full, after stopping here and fueling and or using the facilities, shower etc, theres a service area with more parking barely two minutes north on 95. Go there.

Place is a joke, purchased prime parking 3 different times at this place and theyre always filled when I arrive. For some reason management cant find the truck thats taking it up either. Just park at the local Walmart, at least you dont have to worry about poor management..

Place has gotten bad. Used to be a decent location. Employees are rude. Coffee is weak. Always a long wait on showers. Parking is nearly impossible to get.

The entrance needs to be worked on with all them pot holes I have been going there for the past 4 years now and have never had an issue the staff are very nice and helpful fueling takes a bit due to high traffic but that’s expected

Easy access. Not a ton of trucker stuff but has what you need.

The mens room hasnt been cleaned in at least a year. The urinals are clogged and the mineral buildup in them is completely unacceptable. The sinks are showing sings of buildup also. The mirrors are losing the silver from lack of cleaning. Surely pilot/flying j can find someone in Milford that can do their job.

I didnt know that you had to pay 10 cents for a plastic bag when you have an abundance of items... On top of no one understood proper English being that I had to call a pizza a pie... But yet the screen advertised PIZZAS!!! Ill never visit Connecticut again!!!!

Staff is always welcoming. The shower facilities are better than the gym that I go to in Milford.

RV and vanlife friendly. Plenty of van parking up front that doesnt interfere with the big rig parking. Always check with store first. Great customer service! Plenty of food options available and that House blend coffee. Fill up on gas and snacks. Thank you Pilot.

It has a good location right off the highway at exit 40 with 12 fuel pumps on the non truck side. Place is always usually pretty busy though. Theres a Wendys attached.

If you are in rush thinking to get fuel and leave, do not try this place. It’ll take forever. There is always and ALWAYS line you have to wait to pay because there is only 1 cashier(maximum 2) works there during the rush hour. Don’t pay for prime parking just fill in, nobody is going to tell you to move your truck.

This is a very clean truck stop and conveniently located just off of Interstate 95. Plenty of food options including Wendys, and tons of drinks. They also have paid showers as well for customer use. Ive been coming here for 3 years for my travels and Ive never had a bad experience here.

Everyone on here saying the staff made you leave or wouldn’t serve you because you had no mask on needs to call corporate. I had a staff member try to kick me out of a pilot in Portland for not wearing a mask. Corporate says they put the signs up and encourages customers to wear one but will NEVER refuse service to you for not wearing one. I will NOT wear a mask and so far after Portland no one has bothered me at a Pilot.

I have more than an hour waiting for a shower I see that people come out but they do not clean the showers a long time to wait today

I came in got fuel and went inside to get my fuel receipt and a breakfast sandwich can’t wear a mask due to medical issues with my breathing a the moment and a young girl that was making coffee ran me out the store without even letting me explain y I didn’t have a mask but y’all want us drivers to send our money for fuel but we not allowed to get food or anything else als the kiss penetrate stays out of paper at this location couldn’t even print my fuel receipt very upset and disgruntled at how this was handled

Avoid this location like a serious STD! Employees, especially management treat Truckers horribly! Ive been to quite a few awful Pilots but this location is by far THE WORST Ive ever visited in my 20+ year career driving a truck! So bad, that I actually lodged a formal, written complaint with Corporate headquarters regarding their treatment of Truck Drivers &the instigating of confrontation by not just employees but the night manager, herself!

It gets very crowded after 5pm. Make sure you get there early if you dont wish to brawl over parking spots.

Medium sized pilot, clean showers, lots of diesel, friendly fast staff. Shower was smaller than most but turnover was really quick, had me worried that it would be gross, was really happy to see it was not!

We are professional box track drivers, we were approched by security on Pilots parking lot and demanded to leave the parking. This is very strange, as normally, Pilots travel centet is the place, where you, as a professional driver, can take a rest.

I love pilot and flying J travel centers. I always feel up at these truck stops. The showers here are very nice and clean. I also like to take advantage of reserved parking especially when I am making a late night stop to assure that I have a parking space and a good place for me to be able to rest that is safe and well lit.

Very poor communication skills with the employees, and having to pay for a bag is even worse. Cmon pilot, you can do better.

Large and easy truck parking. Getting full by 5 pm. Well stocked store. Friendly staff. The store is under renovation . Good for 34 hours brake. Only problem is idle engines in such a nice weather here in New England. Shut your engine and let the others to enjoy fresh air.

Seems expedited doesnt count to this store and we cant park over night. So no more of my money.

Small. Clean. Well-stocked youll not terribly expensive. Ample parking at night obviously filled out for it. But its right next to a BF Goodrich Tire Service which is quick inexpensive so thats a good thing all in all not a bad thing

The cashier and her overplay on plandemic was pretty uncalled for. Ended up calling me a *ick face as I was leaving, claiming I called her a bit**, which I dont normally do to anyone, not my MO.Anyway, generally the worst situation in the parking lot. Fuel line is forming all around the truck stop. Parking isnt tight, but due to people squeezing in, pretty disastrous.Bathrooms were pretty clean, considering how busy it is. Certainly the spot to avoid for me.

I absolutely LOVE Pilot. Ive been coming here for years because they have the cheapest gas around - and its quality gas too. Same goes with cigarette pricing. I love the Pilot card that gives me some money off of gas (and free rewards on the Pilot app) and the building has recently been remodeled and it looks gorgeous. The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. A++

Will never buy anything from here again. Bought a bunch of items. Wouldnt even give me a bag.

Busy! Good gas prices (good cigarette prices too), lots of employees to keep it all organized and moving. Fairly big store, I havent checked it all out yet. Some clientele or people just hanging out outside a little sketchy. I keep my doors locked and stay aware of my space. Never had any problems.

This is my first time at staying at a truck stop in Connecticut. I must say its been a pleasant experience the staff at this location here in Milford Connecticut are very polite and very professional and very very. The store inside and out is very clean the showers or well-kept so where the bathrooms. It is a PJ fresh so you can expect all of the normal good food. The only downside and I dont believe its the fault at the store but more The Limited location and access into this pilot. The entrance to the fuel Island feeds through the rear of the parking area so if the fuel Island is busy then trucks will be lined up through the parking area and will make it difficult at times in order to back into a parking space. The location is very quiet and again is very clean I would recommend anyone to stop here at this location.

While traveling or perhaps your a driver on a long haul trip. You can count on stopping at this plaza for a rest and get everything you need. It has a respectful staff thats willing to help and get ya back on the road. So 95 trippers give it a look for a quick meal break and all you need.

Store is new a clean however there is always at least 2 truck diesel pumps down today there are 4 down the drive way is full of potholes and shower #1 both the deadbolt and the latch lock are broken

The employees here are great. The place is clean and the showers are hot. They also put up the barriers so it wouldnt be so congested getting to the fuel island. The only bad part is they need night time security to stop these truckers from parking in the fuel island for there 30 minute breaks or whatever. If this happens I will change it to a 5 star

Well I mostly drink the coffee because I love that new coffee machine and some of these pallets I might you know eat some of PJ fresh food it all depends what they have but I can get without bread so mostly is boiled eggs I would like to have that salad but I cant eat cheese anymore so they have no salads without cheese when it come down to lunch or dinner people are getting away from Emil they think that truck drivers need all this fast food which is hurting our health especially if you dont care about your health we need greens vegetables hot dogs okay is still $3 even though I dont eat the bread thats okay we need vegetables meat and two vegetables you dont get the role unless you ask for it anyway but now you see a lot of truck stop taking out the restaurants going to fast food the only thing fast we need is Subway you need a sit-down restaurant to get out of the truck so we can relax and eat have a good meal not a fast meal that has a lot of salt and sugar in it

I just want to say that I only use pilots and Flying J for my Trucking needs and accessories unless I need to have some mechanic work done but I get all my fuel and Def from either one of those two truck stops no matter where I go throughout the country. Today was the first time ever in my 20 something odd years of driving since 1996 and I have ever oh, I see again ever been rushed while taking my shower. Now I will admit did I did spend an exceedingly amount of time handling my hygiene. But I received 4 knock on the door telling me that I needed to hurry up there are other people waiting. After the second knock disturbing me, I became belligerent. And ask the individual when you are home in the shower, the bathroom do you have people disturbing you? After that it was a no-holds-barred situation. As I no longer care what came out of my mouth. And did voice my dismay to the GM of that location. As I requested from him to know what is the proper protocol when using the restroom and handling my hygiene. I was only in there for a little under an hour. As I have spent numerous hours in the past. Just not at this particular truck stop. I dont care how long it takes me I have to wait in order to get a shower sometimes just as others will have to wait if I am in there. This was highly unacceptable. I am not naming any names because me being the type of man that I am I do not wish any trouble on anyone let alone as difficult as it is these days to get a job and to retain it. I just hope that this memo gets filtered down to the proper personnel, in hopes that maybe the shower area personnel take heed to this. On a brighter side I give two thumbs up and a kudos to cashier clerk Crystal and mostly a young Latina BBW that are named slips my mind at this present time who checked me into the shower. As she brought a few things to light inform the staff that I was only in there for a very very short period Of time. While everyone else thought I was in there for 4 hours because the timer was not reset upon me going in.

When travelling to and from Cape Cod on highway 95, this stop at exit 40 allows a good rest stop, a selection of quick food, coffee and rest rooms. Also, I noticed it usually has the cheapest rate for regular gas on 95 through all of Connecticut. Theres plentiful and easy parking all round. Easy exit at 40, and easy to get back on the highway. Self serve pumps.

Good place overall. If its your first time coming here from i95 Southbound at exit 40 ramp get into the right left turn lane then turn left to stay on the right turn lane underneath i95 DO NOT CROSS THE ROAD, turn right at the light then turn left into a road. Entrance is at the very far end of parking lot, dont enter through the first opening, thats the exit, please dont be that guy. I suggest to watch for a spot when youre on the driveway, try to get a spot from the west side row specially in summer to avoid front facing evening sun, if theres no spots on that side turn around by the scale without blocking the fuel pumps, it gets very packed most of the time and drivers are impatient in this area so be careful because most of them speed up like they driving on the interstate.Place is big and nice. Theres Wendys inside which is not that great, also decent pilot/flyingJ buffet. Clean and big restrooms, showers are inconsistent, some days are the best some other days are not so good. For some reason showers doors locks are cut off so no way to get an extra privacy feeling.Hard working and very professional guys in the store, Dunkin donuts across the street and cracker barrel nearby. Recommended

A clean, well stocked truck stop with low gas prices and easy on and off access to I95. There is a wide variety of drinks and snacks available inside. There are also a large number of gas pumps. I cant speak to the availability of diesel pumps on the truck side, but I assume there are a lot as well. The store inside has a Wendys restaurant attached as well as other hot and cold foods and drinks. The area is well lit and open 24/7. The only reason for a less than perfect rating is the gas pumps are frequently out of receipt paper, which forces you inside to get one. It has at times caused a long wait for a simple task that seems intentional. If youre in need of fueling up, its a good choice, trucker, or not.

One of the best gas stations around. Not only has one of the lowest prices in the area but it also is very nice, big and clean inside the store. People at the counter were kind and friendly, something you dont see much nowadays

Its a very nice size Pilot but because of its location it fills up very quickly. If you come pass 7pm chances are you wont find a spot. But there is truck parking across the street which can fill up pretty fast too but its a bit more possible to find a spot.

Quick stop off the highway... gas prices are always good.... huge selection of items inside... and it comes with a Wendys.... what more can you ask for

This was the worst experience at any Pilot, Flying J, Loves, TA, Petro or any Truck Stop I have ever visited in 32 of 50 states Ive been too. I will never go here to this location again due to the rude cashier. She should be fired. She is in her early 40s and I wanna guess her name was Heather but not sure. Anyways everyone please beware of the inconvenience and disrespectful cashiers.

I went to the counter to check if I have any points for a coffee, and Cody said, Yes,go make a coffee. So, when my husband & I came with a coffee, he ran our Pilot card and he noticed there were no coffee points and he paid for our coffee, I love a person who keeps his word. Well it was not really bad. But while being checked out at the counter the employee said Nothing at all to me... not hi or anything else or even would you like a bag. While waiting on me another woman walked up behind me and he was like HELLO... thinking he was talking to me I started to say HI back and a voice from behind says HEY. I turn around and see he was not speaking to me. Now this has happened all over the country. I have watched employees play on their phones while checking out 10 customers and had not even said one word. Not even their totals.... this is some of the worse customer service I have ever had. Please Pilot work on this. If your employee are not happy at work or know how to interact with the public..... let them go find factory work.

You get everything you need from hot meals to fast food. The bathroom is squeaky clean.

Gas always cheap. They serve all kinds of hot food. A Store inside. Bathrooms & Showers available. Big Truck Stop. Wendys restaurant inside. Just Remodel.

The employees are great, however i am not at all happy with the owner! If people take the time to write a review and the owner wants to thank them for a great review, than give a sincere thank you, not a copy / paste generic reply. I found that insulting. Lots of parking and the inside was clean. However, 2 fuel pumps down and the one I was able to even get to, the passenger side didnt work. The screen wasnt working for the showers so confusion there as you didnt know what shower you were to go to. All the trashcans at the pumps were full, but you had 4 people inside doing much of nothing.

Inside of the Pilot? Everywhere in America looks almost the same. There are to types. Older and never version. In both you can get good coffee, and wide variety of food. At good price. Outside? For civilians almost the same. For truckers? Hmmm. This varies a lot. From really small for huge parking. This one is one of the biggest. But finding parking spot after 7pm? Thats depends on Your luck ... 😁 it could be immediately or You have to wait hour or 2 ...

Not enough parking. They could free up 4-5 more spots but theyve got it blocked off with barricades for some reason. Staff are nice and clean showers.

I said hello hows your day to the lady @ the cinnamon rolls and nothing back not even a hello back. The lady @ the front counter was very nice she asked me how are you doing today and a very nice hello WITH A SMILE she transflowed my paperwork and told me to have a nice day I wish everyone else here was that nice. I guess some people dont have any manners and only work for a check and could careless about the customers that come in. Rating would have been higher if I wouldnt have been ignored.

“Clean” shower had dirty washcloths hanging on the hooks, the shower smelled awful and I wasn’t given a floor mat. Waited in line at Wendy’s at 12:30am for 10 minutes and none of the 4 slow employees even acknowledged me so I left. 2 stars for clean store and good parking layout.

Great place to stop in while traveling. Very clean and vast inventory. They offer secure bathing (showers), fuel, food, or just a place to rest.

I am very surprise how patient and nice people working there. We are a trucking company. Our driver lost his phone and we couldnt reach him for several hours. For me was enough to call just once. Some lady by name Michelle took all info and she called me back in 5 minutes with answer. Usually tuck stops do not have time, or they are very busy, or they do not have enough people to help in same situations.

Ive been using this spot for a long time and is always being a treat to stop here staff is very excited. Bathroom are always very clean they have fresh coffee brew at all time and also they have a large inventory of snacks and some hot snacks. Very convenient location and easy to spot.

Never thought I would give a pilot a bad review but I got fuel here today and my advance I pulled up from the fuel island went inside picked up a few things and there was a line at the registers before I could get checked out there was a guy outside directing fuel traffic they had 2 pumps down before I could get checked out the guy was talking on the intercom calling my company name and number out to move my truck to proper parking I had just spent 500 in fuel and 45 in store I couldnt help the line inside and it took a minute to get out I was. Not messing around I was inside maybe 5 min

Convenient location located near exit 40 I 95 this is Pilot number 255. I write my review as a Connecticut resident who uses gasoline and some inside services. The Wendys is overpriced because of their proximity to the highway just as the McDonalds service centers are overpriced also. All of the pilots I have been to across the United States offer consistent service as does the Milford Connecticut location.

I would have given at a five-star are the only reason why I didnt was because and the restaurant area was very dirty other than that the service was really great

Excellent customer service, ean, friendly, welcoming staff, as a new Pilot rewards member, i asked about using the showers it was $12.50 and i did not have enough points earned for a free shower, but $12.50 is better than $99.00 to shower at a local hotel so i had no problem paying $12.50 at all. But the Employee said she hates to have to charge us for a shower and redeemed a free shower for me on her own account, I thanked her before and again after my well needed refreshing shower. Thank You Again it means a lot that so.e people do still really care

My best location for buying the cheapest gas on the I-95 between New Haven and New York City. The have a newly remodeled store offering very good amenities for truckers, nice staff, and an adjoining Wendys. Very conveniently located close to the end of both North and South bound ramps on Exit 40.

Very rude black woman refused to answer a question because Im not wearing a mask. May 19 2020. I recommend the manager have this female fixed instead of being rude about it.

Exit 40 on I-95 look for the big Pilot/Arbys sign. End of ramp left go 100 yards turn right to enter. Follow paved road to fuel pumps or shop.

Best fuel price. If you are living in New Haven County, then best place to fill up your empty tank. Nice clean store with lot of rewards.

I go here for gas but inside they have a Wendys and a cinnabon... the gas station itself has its convenient store where u can get just about everything. Gas price is fairly lower than most and its the same price whether cash or card.

LOTS of variety here. Tons of snacks,candy,soda,coffee,slushy’s,ice cream, microwave meals, lots of souvenir items, t shirts, couple toiletries, tampons, pills, etc. there are showers for those traveling, bathrooms were pretty neat. Also there’s a Wendy’s inside. Gas station and motels behind the center, and 5 minutes away from Milford mall and Walmart and Barnes and nobles awesome.

Very busy Pilot, long lines to get fuel. The counter people are always friendly here. The showers are very clean, water pressure is strong and hot. Fuel prices are on average .30-50 cents more here at Pilot than the small Secondi Brothers truck stop next door. They have about 25 reserved spots relatively a close walk to the building.

Sitting in line just get in to parking lot for reserved spot half hour and waiting. Apparently some fuel pumps are down so everyone sits.

Decent truck stop with the best priced gas around. Wendys inside for eating along with a Cinnabun and convenience store, plus shower and laundry for truckers. Nice folks and right off the interstate.

In the middle of remodeling. Very little food out The sandwich I got was old...terrible. awakened by the all too familiar tap on the door at 2am. Rest assured it did not cost any less for reserved parking. Well, at least they are remodeling.

Stop here often. Busy at times but each time I stop I can usually find a parking spot. Hot clean showers and laundry facility. I run the north east and enjoy my stops here.
