This meal was the reason I went to this restaurant. Corned beef and hash eggs Benedict. The potatoes could have been seasoned more. Few had that crispy edge. The Corned Beef Benedict was really the star of the show. This meal is a bit pricey coming in at almost $14, but it is worth the occasional splurge when I travel to Connecticut.

My husband and I came here for a lunch today. What a nice experience. His burger was perfection and so was my BLT . The dining area complies well with covid standards without feeling weird. The waitresses are sweet and know their stuff. 5 stars for sure! Will be returning.Guess what? We went back! 🥰
Good blue plate diner for reasonable priced everyday food at lunch, at the end of the work shift or evening dinner. Diner is clean and simple with food available at the bar stool, booths or tables. Restrooms are clean and tidy and not just a room behind a door with toilet a wash basin.
Ive been to alot of diners in my 46 years and Ive lived in milford the last 5. And when I first came to this diner bout 12 yrs ago it was decent. But the last time we went it was horrible and I dont usually rate bad reviews bc I know it can hurt someones buisness but when I say it was disgusting it was really bad my girl had open faced hot turkey with gravy it was un edible there was so much gravy u couldnt see anything on the plate and when we tasted it ewww it was str8 nasty and the reason y. Im writing this review bc if u have the decency to serve that to us then I have the same mutual feeling writing a review about ur cooks there was probally 5 spoons full of adulbo so disgusting we sent it back and I sent mine back as well I orders chicken strips that were uncooked. As we walked out I left 5 bucks for the drinks and left. Probally the worst plate of food I ever saw in my life. Really bad. And its a shame bc every body used to go bc the food was good but now they have a mexican manager and cooks. And really dont know how to cook good ol fashioned american food. Highly disappointed bc we live 3 miles away.

Weve been going to this diner for 25 years, sometimes in big groups of rowdy people. The food is classic dinner food and does not disappoint. The service is usually excellent . Highly recommended. The Greek salad with chicken and green goddess dressing.. awesome and huge!

Visiting the area from out of state (WV) we try to eat at local businesses and try different ones out. Service was good, and the staff friendly. We got a couple of the dinners and the starter soup was quite hot and good, but when the dinners came most of the food was lukewarm at best, especially the sides. My partners liver and onions were unseasoned and tasted kind of sour she said. Everything else tasted fine but overall disappointed, mostly just from the food temperature.
Great spin on classic diner specials. I love the west coast omlette with grilled chicken, avocado, cilantro and add chorizo sausage. Huge portions and fresh ingredients. Good coffee.

The last 2 times Ive gone to the flyer for dinner with my kids its been super disappointing. The servers seem overwhelmed and distracted and the food is just ok. We ordered a blooming onion, it was so burnt I couldnt help but to ask the waiter if he would eat it? Im looking at him as my 6 yr old is saying ewww mom thats gross meanwhile Im thinking ummmm you didnt notice this before you served it to us? Best part, he didnt even bring out a new one lol The coffee was old and burnt asked for a new cup the next one had a gelatinous clump of something I couldnt identify right on the top (the waiter missed that one too). It took 10 mins before I saw him again and was able to let him know, i watched him take orders, bring out food, and go back and forth a few times before he got around to the 3rd replacement which I didnt even want at that point, comically he changed me for it lolYou should know: the phone is obnoxiously loud, rings nonstop, & nobody rushes to answer it.Suggestion: weekend breakfast only, sit in the back far away from the phone.
The food was good. But the services was horrible. Waitress did not bring anything I asked for. Never checked if we where happy. I wouldn’t mind if they were busy, but they were dead. Plus she was totally unfriendly, felt like we were a burden on her. Never go back.

Ooze Deluxe on rye with Bacon!!! Thats all that needs to be said. Do yourself a favor and come sit on the patio and receive great service from a wonderful staff. Every meal at any time is Delicious

I would have loved to give five stars but their hours are completely wrong they are serving people inside but closing 45 minutes early and I just want to do a pickup and they did not answer the phone, this truth is amazing. The chicken slovaki is divine the ribs are okay, but they have so many other options I wish they would be honest about their hours because even on the door it said they were still open but they ignored my phone calls and me standing in front of their door while they served patrons inside
No hesitation these is a 5 star 24 hr classic dinner.,so the menu is basic but it sure is a comfortable atmosphere.Wife and go for lunch .BLT with fries and gravy. Or bacon cheese burger with fries..always have 2 soups ready ..plenty of parking ...tractor and trailer will fit ..Handicap accessible and bathrooms.

Pre-covid we always eat at least 1 time per week service and quantity of food was good. Fast forward July 2021 we were back a few times and the quantity of food is much less ex. we usually order fish and chip. Pre covid days they you used to serve two piece of fish, but now you only get served 1 piece of fish. We have asked 2xs to bring out the oil and balsamic vinegar bottle to the table for our salad, what we received was two small plastic container. We had to ask for bread and it was stale too - pre covid before we even sat down we had bread at the table. Come on it 2021 how much does bread cost??The quality and quantity of food at this venue went done the hill fast and the prices increased. Three weeks in a row on a Friday night the place was empty at dinner time vs pre-covid you had to wait for a table. We will try this place one more time in a few months. Hoping the owner sees this review and makes a change for the better to keep his customer coming back.

We ordered two burgers for pick up. Asked for one pizza burger with no bun. My husband said I was doing no carbs, so I guess his fault I got no French fries but also didn’t get a pickle or cole slaw. His Hawaiian burger didn’t get a pickle or slaw either. Didn’t get utensils, napkins or condiments. What’s worse was both burgers were dry, (guessing frozen) even with sauce. Just not the same anymore.
The quality of the food here has really gone down hill in the last few years but its still quick affordable and convenient.

Yesterday I met a friend for a lunch date here and had a great experience. I ate the best pancakes I can remember having and the manager helped me with special accommodations for my lunch. Milford is lucky to have a place where the food is this good, the staff is amicable, and the price is reasonable. Looking forward to go back soon!

Kim was fantastic! Coffee, and one strawberry and one coconut milkshake each while we waited. We ordered bagel & Novia Scotia lox, smoked salmon under eggs Benedict, and good old runny eggs, fried seasoned potatoes, and bacon. All delicious!! Must go here. The servers decorate the restaurant themselves. They can also host parties and events, as well as take reservations. Breakfast today, but lunch or dinner also a must. Left a cute tip for our waitress, Kim, and she was so sweet, she gave us some history about the restaurant.

Been living in Milford for most of my life the Bridgeport flyer has been there for years and years and its always been good I would highly recommend the before flyer its hard to find a good restaurant these days

Service was very quick. We had coffee, tea, and tapioca pudding. Most diners dont have this item, and we will come back because you have it.

If I could have chosen negative stars I absolutely would have.

Ordered online and I arrived and they said their printer was down. They were going to call but I was there after ordered 30 mins ago. They helped everyone else in the lobby and three women in the lobby could not ring me out or put my order In For me.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!I ordered 2 sandwiches on Uber eats. Delivery time was 7:20, 30 min after I placed my order. Standard. My first Uber eats driver arrived and waited there until 7:25. Order still was not ready. TWO SANDWICHES. NOT A HARD THING TO PUT TOGETHER. My order was pushed back to 7:45. Order arrived COLD (they were hot sandwiches) and no utensils even though I requested them. I have order from them once before, and they messed up my whole order. So after TWO TIMES messing up, it’s safe to say THIS PLACE SUCKS. food isn’t even that good either.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE WITH CARD. YOUR CARD NUMBER WILL BE COMPROMISED. AN EMPLOYEE ADMITTED IT ME THAT IT HAPPENED TO A CUSTOMER LAST WEEK. When you order online they print out the order including full credit card number and expiration date and then that paper just sits out in the open for all employees to see and snag your card number. FOOD IS FANTASTIC (although it was not ready in the 20 minutes it said it would be ready) But if you order online, select cash and pay when you pick up.

Simply awe full our waitress was playing with her feet and socks and then took off her shoes and replaced them and walked to carry our food to our table without washing and the burger was well done no lto topped with two burnt onion rings

It is open all the time and thats what you need when you are hungry. They have a very large menu so you can pretty much find anything you are looking for in regards to diner food plus more. Have not been in a while but Im sure it is still cranking out rice pudding which I am a fan of

This place is always open! The food is okay, not great. But its better than the alternative (which is McDonalds). The people who work there are nice too.
The food is delicious and the amount you get is huge! We went for breakfast. My husband got the 3 egg omelet which filled a platter. I got poached eggs, done perfectly.
Excellent 24 hour diner. The breakfast dishes are huge and delicious, but they also have a fine array of salads for lunch. Their green goddess dressing is renowned, you should definitely try it.
Eat there many times each week and love it! Food is good and not so fancy that you areafraid to try it. Great salads and excellent early bird. Waitresses are friendly and arevery obliging. We love it and would give it top plus rating! Try it youll like it.
