Helpful staff, decent prices

Superior and attentive service! Loved the new remodel expanding the nursery and tool corral. I had been a regular customer for 15+years and only went to to their competition when I needed lumber - So sad to see them closing permanently :-(

Its a good hardware store, but it is closing down. Usually able to get help from the store associates, unlike some of those bigger hardware stores. They do have handicap parking right up front near the entrance. Currently (last week of August 2018) they have 10 to 30 percent off. So far only seeing the 10 percent off, maybe more later. Sad to see them close as they use to have hard to find items too.

Orchard Supply Hardware is a great local hardware store chain. I like Orchard better than the big box stores because Orchard typically has a much larger selection of a particular item, while the big box stores have a large volume of a few item choices. Orchard will tend to be a little higher on many items, but to me it is worth it for the wider selection.

Your typical OSH store. The staff is friendly and helpful because it is usually not very busy.Unfortunately, as of the beginning of September, they have started to close this store location permanently.

I always enjoy going here. I only go to HD if I cant find it at OSH. The customer service here is unbeatable. Everyone is always super nice and super helpful.

Seems to good hardware but things are not organized well. Many sections are vacant.

Shame that they are going out of business. Prices are great with the Going out of business discounts but all sales are final and a lot of things are already out of stock. Also hard to find help given all the people there and the few workers.

Exellent place where we can find almost everything to improve your house, your garden and every household things.

I have bought plants, soil, fertilizer, a wind bell and stuff.Even if the name suggests it carries only farming & gardening,actually a variety of living goods are stocked.I am planning to change my back yard from there soon.Because they supply everything and even give advice,I do not need to hire a landscaper any more: big saving.A small issue is the other time my clerk was scary to me whenI bothered her calling for exchange right after purchase.

Going out of business sale going on, 25-60% off most items, all sales final. You have to wonder thru the store, they may not have what you want, but you could get what you need, and at a discount.

A solid hardware store and garden supply. I prefer this place over Home Depot.

Did not have what I needed, but staff suggested an alternative that worked. My local OSH is always the best organized of the available hardware stores.

I got sent an email from Orchard Supply accepted your invitation to go shop for their discounts so I grabbed a few clothes for work continue shopping around and out of the booth was suddenly asked to leave drop my s*** and leave for no reason at all Ive never felt so offended and embarrassed in my life was asked to talk to the manager asked him what the problem was I was a regular customer there and he said he didnt care at the Alum Rock location now I think this is b******* that you guys sent me an email and invited me to that discriminating time I had there and you can go f*** yourself

We like that we can buy plants from OSH and return them if they die.

My favorite hardware store is going out of business. I expected deeper discounts than they are currently offering.

Only one checker and 10 people standing in line. Checker was trying to look up crushed rock for a bar code and couldnt find it. She tried to call the warehouse and they didnt answer. Line grew longer ... I finally gave up and left. This OSH store in Milpitas does not have enough people and management is nowhere to be seen. I have shopped here for years and seen it slowly get worse. Not coming back anymore.

Of course easier to find things here and more personal service than at Home Depot, but selection probably less.
