I can’t say enough about how wonderful Megan of Mineola Fuel is. It was a snow storm and we didn’t realize until it was too late how close we were to running out of oil. We had just gotten home from the hospital with our 4 day old child, and every oil company, including our own which we had been using for years, turned us down. Megan went out of her way to make sure we got oil so we could keep our child warm. Needless to say, they’ve gained a loyal customer!

Where do I begin? We recently moved to LI and have no idea about oil so we decided to do some research and found this company. We decided to use them. BIG MISTAKE!I ordered 100gal of oil about 2 weeks ago. My credit card was charged before the delivery even arrived. I thought it was strange but thought nothing of it.I realized I had ordered oil from Nuzzi Fuel but Mineola Fuel showed up on my card instead. Very strange but the addresses were next door to each other so I didnt think it was weird.My oil was delivered when I was not home with no call or anything to inform me it would be delivered. Again, strange to me but didnt think twice about it.Then, my handyman checks the tank and informs me 100gal was not delivered. I called the company a few times. No answer. My husband calls. Still no answer. So, I ask my credit card company to put a hold on my transaction until I can sort it out. I tried again to contact them with no success so I disputed my charge.A few days ago, I receive a call from Carolyn at Mineola Fuel asking why the charge was disputed followed by threats to take me to court. My husband and I tried to explain that we DID NOT receive 100gal but would pay for what we received, which was around 69gal. Carolyn would not listen and kept threatening to take us to court, claiming Mineola Fuel is a reputable company.My tank holds 275gal and was at 3/8 when I called, meaning I had about 104gal. I ordered 100gal, which would bring me to 204, or around 6/8 of a tank. My gauge was at 5/8 when my handyman checked following the delivery. 100gal was NOT DELIVERED despite constant lies that it was. I offered to pay for what was delivered but Carolyn was adamant I pay the full amount.In the end, I paid for what I received and was told NEVER TO CALL them again because they would NOT SELL US OIL. It was okay because we found a company that did a great job and charged us the same amount as Mineola Fuel.Lesson: This company is SHADY. Other reviewers have mentioned they did not receive the amount they paid for while others have complained about their cards being charged before delivery. My advice is not to use this company or Nuzzi Fuel.PS- Why does Mineola Fuel have two different names even though its so transparent and honest? 🤔

WHAT A JOKE!!! I WAITED 2 WEEKS FOR A APPOINTMENT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR 4 PM AND WHEN I CALLED TO CONFIRM THE TIME I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS OUT OF LUCK AND NO ONE WOULD COME. I EVEN LEFT WORK EARLY AND LOST PAY. WHEN I ASKED WHEN THEY WOULD RESCHEDULE THEY SAID WE DONT KNOW THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!! THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a set dollar amount of oil. They charged me for it. Then they mistakenly filled my tank and charged me for their mistake WITHOUT letting me know or contacting me Unauthorized 2nd charge.I called office to try to work with them and stated that by filling my tank I didn’t even get the best rate per gallon.Meanwhile at my bank I’m getting overdrawn and incurring fees. I let the oil company know this and asked them to take an additional 30 dollars off so my bank wouldn’t be overdrawn. That could have ended this yesterday morning and afternoon but No one Returns call. So I had to take it to the bank dispute for the full amountNow this goes on for weeks and I have No access To money til next paycheck. Very unprofessional
