A newly opened gun shop in Mineola, Nassau County. Been there many times. Finally, a gun store where the sales people are friendly! A wonderful mix in the inventory. Something for everyone, from modern to old collectible arms and militaria. Automatic air guns to military weapons. All legal. And super fair prices and fees. Don’t waste your time online. Forget Gunbroker or Amazon. Shop like the old days. In person. Just can’t say enough good things about this joint. Did I tell ya the owners and clerks are cool? No stinky attitudes. patient, polite, old school decent.

Stay away from this place. owner, sam is extremely rude and obnoxious, prices are ridiculous...double the prices of other places. major attitude problem. he is NOT a former cop either! many other places to give your business to.

Great new store. It’s super clean and well presented, but feels like it’s been there for years. Great selection of firearms, and related goods. Modern and up to the minute trends and optics, to vintage stuff you may never see again, like an old Olympic bench gun, chambered in 762x54R with diopter sights. Also expect vintage, rare and unique military surplus and a staff that can support the product they stock. It’s a rare mix of a posh new showroom, and a dusty old place that smells of Cosmoline, only without the dust and cosmoline. Highly recommended. Vet owned, pleasant, knowledgeable staff, including a young woman. Glad to see the sport expanding to more females.

Was referred here by a friend after having bad experiences at other gun stores. This place is awesome. They have a really cool selection as well as many niche products that you cant find elsewhere. The staff was really friendly and helped me out with several items that I had been looking for for a while. I forgot to get everyones name but especially the one guy with longer hair, really personable staff with great conversation.

New store with good amount of inventory, I was able to get items that are hard to find in other gun shops, staffs are friendly amd professional with good knowledge regards to firearm and helps customer to find what they like and need, I notice some one star reviews regarding price, I dunno if it’s fair to say that gun and ammo price has went up due to many factors this year. We need to support our local business at this difficult time, trashing a store with one star is just not fair and misleading.

This gun store is fantastic! They have a very large selection of rifle, shotgun, and pistols. Lots of various other gun accessory parts as well. They are very knowledgeable about firearms and are very kind and willing to help. I wont be going anywhere else.

Very impressed by how organized and neat the store is. Owner apparently did a lot of planning in his/her head on where to put what. Staffs are friendly and fairly knowledgeable. It was a pleasant experience just browsing - you will see quite a few rare snd unique items not available elsewhere.

Well organized display shelf with some vintage guns from the collections of store owner Sam and Sandy. Great services from shop assistant, and Howard, their gunsmith, helped me to fasten the front bead of my Beretta shotgun with no charge.

It is a fantastic firearm store I would definitely visit again and again. They got some very rare rifles hard to find online. Sales are friendly and informative.

Guns are totally overpriced. do yourself a favor and find a different place i bought a black aces tactictal nickle shotgun for 400 dollars today n they sell it for atleast 1000 dollars

A new local gun store located in the heart land of Mineola, Nassau County. I walking in and the store is clean and the atmosphere is very friendly. Unlike many traditional gun stores that looks down on newbie gun owners the staff were very patient with everyone. I did not get the sense that people were put down for asking “dumb” questions.They had plenty of stock compare to other stores and had good supply of ammo. This is a very hard considering how difficult to get these items now.I saw some people mention the higher than normal prices but you have to remember this is a brick and mortar store. They can’t compete with internet prices. Plus, they are providing extra services like educating novice gun owners and helping new customers on choosing a proper firearm. With current supply shortages of firearm and ammo, I think their prices are reasonable.I am just glad to see another new gun store open in the neighborhood.

Nice, clean store. Friendly staff. Just wayyyy overpriced. Not even close to competitive to other stores. Would definitely patronize this shop if they adjusted their prices to within reason.

Awesome gun store, everyone is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Purchased a Tikka T3X, they mounded up the bipod I purchased and made sure I was all set with everything I needed before leaving. I highly recommend and will definitely go back. It’s also nice to support a business in Mineola.

I didnt think it was so difficult to buy guns in the five major districts of New York. The owner of the balance gun shop is really good. He gave me a lot of application documents for buying guns in New York and asked the clerk to assist me in applying for a five-A level service!
