Went to the New Hyde Park location a few weeks ago. Great customer service and we left happy with our purchase. Came to this location by error and could not regret it more. The only pro is the parking. The sales person was one of the least helpful I have ever encountered. He was rude and completely uninterested in working. He abruptly broke away in the middle of a conversation to answer the phone and probably would have kicked us out of the store if he could even if it was some time before closing. Also thought I felt some undertones of discrimination against my faith. Basically we left the store feeling angry and dissatisfied. I came back to Sherwin Williams because I had a great experience at the other location. If you’re contemplating coming to this location and have the time, drive 10 minutes down the road to the New Hyde Park location. I know I will.

Staff are extremely helpful whether on a call in or in store experience. Always offer advice with questions and go above and beyond to make my visit easy. I joke that going there is like my candy store.

The staff at this store in Mineola is amazing. They keep a record of all my orders and I just need to give them the color and they can pull up my orders.

Easy to see right off of East Jericho Turnpike servicing Mineola and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. This was a good experience. I had to wait at the door because of the current health situation but the salesman was courteous and helpful.

I had an amazing customer service experience at this store today. Jon, the store manager was extremely helpful in helping me select the right type of paint. They are very organized and efficient here. I would highly recommend the Mienola store to get your paint.

For return, I brought stuff I bought from another location, assuming they follow the corporate policy. However, the manager selectively took few items (2) for their own convenience, refusing other ones. So I had to make another travel. They should have put up a sign they only accept the return of what they want. I may have to bring this issue to their corporate headquarter.

Thank you so much to Kristianna, the stores associate manager, for helping me think through my paint selection and purchase. She was exceptional in helping me to determine the perfect colors for my one bedroom apartment, guiding me around the store and holding up color swatches for me to contemplate. Who knew that selecting the perfect gray for my cabinets could be so complicated?Somehow she had the intuition and patience to eventually guide me to heron gray, the perfect, subtle, light silky gray that would seamlessly blend into and accentuate my minty walls. She had the gift of interpreting such helpful phrases as, too dark, too light, too yellow, too gray.She also helped me with picking essential tools and supplies, and I havent had to go back for anything yet. At checkout, she was really conscientious of my budget and applied tons of different coupon codes to lower my overall costs.Days later and my apartment is almost finished, and while my back is sore the colors are gorgeous, and I dont have that much leftover paint. Im also glad that Kristianna encouraged me to go with the satin finish instead of the basic coverage; in my opinion the luxurious sheen is worth the extra pennies.
