The donuts were disappointingly dense and stale-tasting. I felt like the only donut out of the six that we got that was solid at best was the pumpkin chai. The pumpkin filling and the chai icing actually tasted true to its name. The dense donut was somewhat “masked” by the filling and the icing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Had the pumpkin chai donut today and wish I got two! So good!!! There was a small line at 900am but moved fast. When I walked out there was no line. There is no seating inside yet so all is to go. Next time I want to try the maple bacon one, although it’s really hard to pick just one! Enjoy!
You better eat these donuts right now unless youre not hungry, then you should drink some of their delicious coffee, and if you want neither then buy a pint of their salivating ice cream. And if you dont want to do any of that then I question whether you have a soul.
I am in love with this place! The donuts are absolutely to die for and the decor inside is so cute! I picked out a half dozen yesterday and they’re already gone this morning :)I picked out, s’mores, maple, dropped ice cream, sugared, coffee bombe, and cereal!Such a unique spot and so much creativity in the donuts. I’m a huge pastry girl so creating amazing sweets and making them look beautiful hits home to me. They do an amazing job here and the staff is so friendly, patient, and helpful. Make sure to check out the merchandise and ice cream case!!
While the donuts arent necessarily quite as good as traditional places this place is a GEM for those who deal with nut allergies. Lots of selection, decent prices for a specialty bakery and quick and friendly service. I try to stop here whenever Im in the Twin Cities area for treats for our kids with nut allergies.
I dropped 2 stars because I was told my donut had vanilla jelly inside but it was more of a marshmallow filling... I hate marshmallow and if they specified it was marshmallow i wouldn’t have gotten it, that ended up being a waste of money, unfortunately I had to toss it. The guy at the register wasn’t the friendliest either.I got 2 glazed donuts and they were really good though!
Willy Wonka on acid that’s what these donuts are all about they look so amazing and intricate wait until you eat them #explosions. Not only is this just a fun place to come but it actually has a pretty cool backstory. This is a nut free facility. Anyone that might have an allergy to nuts, this is a safe zone your family can go and enjoy some sweets. John the manager runs this place like a spinning top. I was very impressed and how clean it was. They must pay their staff very well because everyone is very kind and energetic. You can definitely say this place has a good vibe to it and that’s why they host birthday parties for kids.
Overall, if you are looking for a good donut your local gas station might be a closer and better option. The food was overpriced and overrated. Donuts were all dry and not great. The wait for a drink was ridiculous after a line that was already long. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.
I used YoYo Donuts for my wedding. Great service! They provided a free sampler platter of donuts. The Donuts were excellent quality and delivered on time hassle-free on my wedding date. Highly recommend!
Donuts and coffee were great! They were busy - the line stretched out of the door and down the sidewalk on a Saturday morning - but there were plenty of donuts and friendly customer service. Wait time was reasonable.
It was our first time in this morning. The line was out the door so we knew it had to be good and it did not disappoint! When we left, the line was even longer than when we got there and it was obvious why 😍 super soft, good sized, excellent selection, and fairly priced. 10/10 will continue to come here for our Donut Fridays each week
There was one thing that I would call myself it would be a donut connoisseur. I try, no pride myself on finding must try donut shops and my goodness is this one of them. Not only do they have unique donuts but the quality of the ingredients and the character each different donut has makes the whole experience. I personally enjoy the marshmallow donut and anything that has raspberry filling and boy does yoyo deliver on these. You know its good when theres a line out the door every weekend and everyone in line isnt grumpy, theyre excited. Excited for the opportunity to talk about donuts and excited to share their experience with people. This is a must stop Minnesota donut shop. Dont miss out
Been going here since it opened, this is the most awesome place . So happy they were open during quarantine. Their donuts and ice cream. Is absolutely one of the top ten in MN . I would recommend this to anyone . Please don’t let yoyo close .
The absolute best donut shop in the West Metro. The ice cream in the summer is good too! It’s an absolute gem.
Loved this place! The service was a little slow, but very courteous. When I explained I had a medical exemption from wearing a mask, they were completely understanding and very gracious. A friend and I stayed for a significant amount of time talking and drinking coffee. The artwork is unique and warm. Overall very happy with my experience.
Don’t go here if you are looking for an Apple fritter. I got an Apple and Cherry fritter. $5 I am so sorry these are not great and really not worth $5. I guess if you want donuts coated in cereal and other breakfast items like bacon they have them but for fritters (small) it’s a no go. The cherry fritter is a cinnamon role with cherry flavoring and coloring. The Apple fitter is dough ball lacking any Apple. I was hopeful but let down.
Tried this place for the first time. Excellent, excellent donuts. Have to say, they did a wonderful job keeping things moving on whats surely the busiest days of the year for them. Their customer service was unbelievably excellent, especially so with how busy they were!
Very nice pastry shop with a wide variety of donuts and caffeinated beverages. Constantly busy in the AM, but most people get donuts to go so finding a place to sit isnt too bad. They also have ice cream, but appears to only be during warmer season. If you have a sweet tooth and are on the West side, swing on by!
YoYo Donuts is one of the best the metro has to offer. Well worth a drive out of your way. The maple bacon donut is ridiculously good. Trust a sceptic!
Great variety of doughnuts and smore ice cream was very tasty
Very fun vibe/atmosphere!! Excellent donuts......many creative kinds. The dropped ice cream donut was a hit with the kid :) Loved the recommended cinnamon brown sugar latte.
They had some yummy donuts here. The selection is not huge but it has enough that everyone will find something to enjoy. I loved the lemon old fashioned doughnut. I thought all the stuff was tasty and the service was good. There was a big of a line to get into the place in the early morning and that is a good sign that the food is good.
I had one or I should say two of the Old Fashion doughnuts with chocolate icing and they were INCREDIBLE!! I have NEVER had a better doughnut, of this kind, in my life! I will be taking a trip to their shop!
Friendly service and amazing ice cream! Easy and relaxed vibe.
Great place for donut... even on their busiest day of the year! A+ for setup outside with multiple lines going!
Line is long if you get there after 7am on Saturday and Sunday. But the donuts are much better and have good selection. It’s a hour drive round trip for me, but it’s worth the drive for a sweet morning treat.
Love this donut shop! My husband and I had donuts at our wedding and obviously had to try all of the shops in the Twin Cities Metro. YoYo was the clear winner. Their donuts are just the right weight, super moist, come in amazing flavors, and are reasonably priced. We go back there every year on our anniversary to have our favorites and a few new ones and the quality is always perfect.
Hidden gem of a place, located in a little strip mall. It is a little coffee/cafe type of place and has some amazing selection of donuts and pastries. I was picking up a dozen to bring to work and had them select for me. The donuts are really delicious and are also a bit more on the pricey side. However, I wouldnt let that deter you since they are more specialty flavors and combinations and are super fresh and taste great!
Peanut & tree nut free! One of a kind donuts that are amazing!
We didnt like this place, dry and expensive donuts, any other place is much better than this place, really disappointed
Great donuts. Love the cinnamon rolls too (only available on weekends). Usually a bit of a line on weekends, but always worth the wait! Employees are all super friendly.
Expensive and disappointing for me..great for folks with peanut allergies.
I went when it was close to closing and the girl behind the counter was not so customer friendly. The donuts where mediocre at best. Honestly, she seemed to just want to leave. There was a small amount and verity of donuts to choose from. Additionally, there was a line of about 10 or more people behind me, so they should have the business sence of having an abundant amount to serve there customers. The donuts that I received where the ones with the displayed flavored type in front and they where stale and dry. They may not have rotate them throughout the day. As a first time customer, it was not impressive nor the taste and texture any different then a gas station verity.
This place is amazing! All of the donuts are excellent, whether youre going for a classic or something more novel and adventurous. Very friendly and efficient staff also helped the long and socially-distanced line move quickly. Worth every penny!
Very quaint coffee and donut shop with a wide selection of flavors. I look forward to going back
This shop is adorable with cute decoration, comfortable seating, and delicious coffee & donuts. The staff made sure that my order was made correctly and that everything was top tier. The shirts and donut plush toys are cute too! Will definitely be returning.
Huge wait on weekends but worth the taste. I expected more of a variety... service was good.
Wonderful donuts. Cant say enough about them. What great flavours!
Super good donuts and ice cream. I did get a salted caramel donut that tasted nothing like that, more like maple than caramel and salt. Missed the mark on that one, but the other 6 donuts we got were deeelish!
A doughnut, ice cream, and coffee shop with a large selection of each. Its my kids favorite place to go. It can get real busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly.
I just can say one thing!! Amazing Amazing and well worth the wait in some instances but then their Ice Cream is just phenomenal
Always delicious, always fun to eat, something for everyone. Also allergy free for peanuts and the ice cream as well.
Everything is delicious, the employees are always friendly. Its great to have such an awesome place be safe for people with nut allergies!
Great variety. Always fresh and so many different options!
Always a good selection of doughnuts, including unique new flavors. Expect a line on weekend mornings. Although, its worth the wait.
YoYo is the go to place for donuts. Great variety (how does Maple Bacon sound). Their ice cream is also very good, but its only sold in containers during the pandemic.
I pulled into the parking lot and there was a huge socially distanced line. This was my first visit ever to YoYo donuts and I thought maybe I should just grab something from the convenience store. I decided what the heck though and got in line. Totally worth it. These donuts are amazing. The prices you can see in the pictures online are lower than the current prices. I got a mix of nine different donuts and long johns and the price was around $16. Again, totally worth it.
We first came here because it is peanut-free and for that alone, this place is an absolute treasure -- a case bursting with pretty, decorated pastry a kid with nut allergies can choose from freely. But even if you dont need a nut-free bakery, you will love it. Donuts definitely run on the extra-sweet side (generously topped with crystalline sugar, or candy). I like the plain, yeast-raised and it is just right. Weve tried several flavors of the ice cream (also nut-free!) and the salted caramel is really yummy. The ice-cream has a lighter/softer texture -- less icy and hard-packed. Attached photo are custom donuts for a birthday party (mermaid themed), and they really shine here. You will get beautifully decorated donuts, and many different designs. The only thing Im not a fan of is the coffee -- I know they use good beans but it often tastes a little thick and overbrewed for me. Even when they the line is super long, we have always found a seat. Give them at try!
YoYo is nothing short of fantastic, from their donuts and ice cream to their employees. It is a relief to be able to confidently let my tree nut-allergic child choose ANYTHING on their menu, which is a freedom he isn’t allowed anywhere else. Their donuts are delicious and their ice cream is honestly the best I have ever tasted. The employees are considerate, compassionate, and go above and beyond to help customers out. During the pandemic, they have been offering curbside pick-up, which is another huge relief for our family, as we have compromised family members. I’d give YoYo more than 5 stars if I could. You won’t be disappointed if you visit them!
I’m from Eden prairie and hadn’t heard of it before. My nephew found it and wanted to come. Now I’m hooked! But next time I need to come earlier so I can try the maple bacon long John!
The donuts here are amazing! You cannot go wrong with any choice of donut you chose!
Great selection and good quality 👌
My first visit and the ice cream alone was out of this world! Plan to frequent this place enough to be on a first name basis!
Delicious donuts, but needs a bit more inventory. Quite expensive as well, but youre paying for the quality. Coffee was fantastic. You can easily spend $30-$40 buying donuts and coffee for the fam.
Assign a different individual to answer the business phone! somebody that does not sound like he hate his job.
Staff is friendly, donuts and coffee are good. A little more expensive as they are gourmet, but I think they are worth it. Still totally fresh at noon
This is the best bakery ever! I have a tree nut allergy, and they don’t have any tree nuts here except coconut. If they didn’t have coconut they would be perfect! Even though they have coconut, I feel completely safe. Their ice cream is delicious. It tastes like homemade ice cream. The staff are very kind and friendly!
Visiting from out of town and I felt really ripped off, but maybe I wasjust spoiled to great prices my state has to offer. The donuts were way too sweet
OMG - Nirvana in a maple iced Long John with a real strip of bacon on top
If you havent ever been here, you need to go at least once. Their selection of donuts is great and they were very fresh. Tasted phenomenal. I also got a cold press that was quite good. The service was also exceptional.
What a selection of HUGE donuts! I had to stop here for donuts on the way to visit a client. Not much business discussed while we pawed through the donuts and coffee. This is a MUST visit when in the Twin Cities region.
Donuts and Icecream. Need I say more?
Decided to pick up some donuts and found this place was on my route home. Was able to view their site and order ahead. Other than a few flavors no longer being offered the donuts were great. Had an old fashioned sour cream, chocolate devils food cake, zebra, and a chocolate glazed with sprinkles. The donut holes were tasty, my wife commso much better than grocery store ones. The order ahead option was nice, prompt service since I ordered in the parking lot and friendly staff.
Exceptional customer service!! Delicious coffee and doughnuts!!
I want a first start out with the customer service was excellent and so friendly. However, Im very sad to say that the donuts were mediocre at best. I drove all the way from Lakeville because Im in search of really good donuts. The selection was very bleak and standard and the only custard filled was a long john. I decided to get a Long John and old fashioned original glazed donut. The Long John was very sweet and lacking any flavor even with chocolate frosting on top. The old fashioned tasted like the oil they fried it in with a hint of coconut flour. Unfortunately, save the trip and go to your nearest dunkin.
Lots of fun donuts, friendly staff
Favorite donut shop in the TCs..... get there early or theyll be out of many options.
Best donuts and lattes! Check out their rotating specials!
This place is the best! I came too late so unfortunately they were out of my favorite so come a little early to get the full selection. I recommend the twists.
One of the best donut places I found in the Twin Cities. They have a smooth COVID Crowd process, and they keep the line flowing. Donuts were great all around. My favorite were the old fashioned. Worth a stop if you are in the area!
They make a lot of good donuts!
Very nice, pleasure to work with staff. Food is delicious. First timer today, and will be sure to visit some more!!!
Amazing donuts! If you are looking for a more unique donuts check out YoYo Donuts. I am slowly tasting my way through all varieties and have not been disappointed. The smores donut was something to experience.
