I cant say enough good things about Tom with Minnesota Jewelry Buyers. We had some jewelry we wanted to see if it was worth anything and he took the time to sort through to let us know what was worth something and what wasnt. He explained what he did, why he was doing it, and how the process worked. Knowing we had some other items to cash in, he reached out at a later date when prices were at a good rate and even came to the home which really helped out (I have an OLD dog I rarely leave alone). We got a better price than we would have gotten anywhere else. He is so personable and pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone over any other place. (Do be aware that he works by appointment, so you cant just show up and hope hes there. I see that as a positive, not a negative like some others who have left reviews.) Thank you, Tom!
I can’t get them to ever call me back. I have some jewelry and diamonds I want to sell. Oh well. So far would not recommend at all. Maybe I should open up a jewelry and Gold buying business...Katharine R.
Tom was a pleasure to do business with. After initially meeting with Tom regarding sale of some estate jewelry I sought a second opinion from another well known jewelry buyer in the Twin Cities. Toms assessment was the most generous and I opted to do business with him. His advice was honest and realistic. I would definitely do business with him again.
I am a very happy customer! Tom is very knowledgeable (over 30 years in the industry) and was a pleasure to work with. I was payed more than double what I expected to receive for my unused gold and silver, including my high school ring. Dont go anywhere else to sell your unwanted items.
I drove an hour and a half to their so called place when they said they were open called them 4 times and no one was there and they had an empty office
5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had my first visit today and was beyond pleased with the service. It was super easy to come in. All you do is call and leave a message if it goes to voicemail. They call you back and response time is very quick! They then set up a time to meet you at their place of business. They have 40 years experience and went out of their way to accommodate to my disability. Doing business with them made me feel it was more personable like businesses used to be 20 or so years ago, rather then some revolving door place you can swing by that will pay you next to nothing for your gold. I am SO glad I chose this place instead of Gold Guys. Thank you so much and I will pass your name along to anyone looking to sell. Was a pleasure working with you!
Legit. I called and left a message in the morning and he got back to me within an hour and saw me for an appointment the same day. I felt good leaving his office. I brought in a twelve year old wedding ring and a few silver peices. He offered me more than the Gold Guys.Tom did a very thorough examination of my diamond first while in the ring and gave me an estimation. He only asked to take the diamond out if I wanted to move forward. It was nice to find a place to sit down with an individual and he talked me through the process. He also explained a lot that I didnt know about the diamond. He shows you everything as he goes through the process.I would definitely recommend him over other jewellers or buyer. Thanks for the great service and patience!
Tom is amazing! He didnt pressure me to make a decision and even told me that he would honor his price if I wanted to price shop some other places for the gold that I brought in. He is such a nice person and very personable. This establishment is by appointment only. If you call and get no response be aware that he may be busy with another client but will return your call as long as you leave him a message. If I ever have any other gold to sell, Tom at Minnesota Jewely Buyers will be the first place I will call! Thanks Tom!
I seldom give 5⭐️ reviews to anyone, but Tom definitely deserves 5⭐️. Very simple process of calling and leaving a message -Tom called me back a couple hours later and was able to schedule appointment with me for later the same day.Tom was straightforward (no games like I experienced at Wedding Day diamonds), took the time to answer all my questions and created a very very low pressure sales experience/environment (he purposefully gave me his offer before asking what I had already been offered by other companies!)I brought in (and sold) a ~2karat diamond pendant to him (which was the highest offer compared to 2 other local/national jewelers I received).I have subsequently enlisted his help in getting my wife a different pendant necklace. I also plan to ask for his help in selling a luxury watch of mine (Ebel) and one for my wife as well (Baume & Mercier). Thanks Tom for a wonderful sales experience! My family and I will be lifelong Minnesota Diamond Buyers customers for sure!Evan P. (Chaska, MN)
Ok, well there was a lot that impressed me about Tom. He answered my phone call in a very prefessional mannor without being stuffy or unfriendly. This i appreciate. Selling an item like jewelery can be sentimental, Tom keeps that in mind. After all this is a business, yet the assessment, values of materials, and overall interaction with him is one of education and facination for the piece of jewelery, the craft of making it, and what goes into every piece.I basically agreed with everything he found and shared with me while looking over my item. Now, one quabble i did have and still do, is pricing. This is not really an area where he can do much with..as long as his assessment and payout is reasonable compared to other jewlery doing similar business, and i found this to be the case. For my item his offer was substansially higher than what a bottom feeder pawn shop had offered, and to be expected, lower than what i may be able to generate with a private party ad say in the classifides, provided a seller was willing to wait around for the right buyer.Tom is also a fellow labrador retriever daddy, and has owned dogs his whole life along with his family. He also did something else i wasnt expecting or have ever heard of. Honestly i dont wanna make trouble, but he offered to sell me back the item, after the closing date on our home, as we had most of our money tied up, for what he paid...I have never heard of such a generous offer or way to do business, i couldnt believe it. I was on the fence about doing this, although ill never wear it, and i was told to use it for something i wanted, when it was given to me, so basically i was covered either way.Needless to say, i rate Tom @ minnesota jewelry buyers 5 stars!
Guessing they went out of business. Have tried repeatedly to call with no response. Knocked on the door at 4pm on a weekday and the place is silent and locked up, with no answer.
Closed at noon on a weekday?
