I was referred by a close friend years ago. The first time I saw Brian I was in the midst of moving homes as a new father; my body and nervous system was fried. His presence alone helped calm me. He allowed me space to express how I was feeling, what I was going through. I felt genuinely heard by him, he then responded with a brief and precise evaluation based on his observations. At this point I could tell he was very knowledgable...and with each needle he placed during treatment, my knowing deepened. I could feel, what felt like, stagnate energy flowing through channels that I didnt know existed and experienced how they were interconnected [i.e., a needle placed on a toe was felt in my jaw that needed to release]. Towards the end of my session [ laying in this comfortable space with relaxing music, under warm heat lamps] I had a much needed emotional release. Upon processing my experience, Brian maintained his professional and compassionate tone. I walked out feeling so grateful to have had this experience and for people like Brian and Sun Acupuncture. I have seen him several times since for lower back, jaw and ear issues and every time I leave feeling realigned, rebalanced and ready to start anew.

Sun acupuncture is a gem! The space is very inviting and peaceful, and Brian is exceptional practitioner. He truly cares, and he is an amazingly talented and skilled practitioner. He is also one of a small number of acupuncturist/herbalists with a PhD, so he really knows his stuff.Pam is also an amazing massage therapist, who has been in practice for many years. Dr. Brian and Pam are both amazing at their crafts. Dr. Brian will take the time to listen to your concerns and develope a customized plan for your needs. Pam is easily one I the best massages I have ever had. With both of these treatments I was able to rid of all my migraines that I have had lifelong! Dr Brian treated my swollen knee from biking. The first treatment reduced the swelling a little bit but 2 weeks later, in addition to some shiatsu and essential oils I did on my own, another acupuncture treatment on the knee and to address other chronic conditions, next day the knee shows great improvement! I went to see Brian for some pain in my hands and arms (work related). I was a bit of a skeptic, but having no real relief from the normal routine of western medicine (analgesics, injections, splints, etc.), I was willing to give acupuncture a try. After only 4 treatments, the pain in my thumbs and wrists was negligible and I felt incredible. Brian listens intently and explains what he can and cant do. He is gentle, soft spoken and very knowledgeable about his practice. Brian and his wife, Pam have a super clean and comfortable clinic and offer a wide variety of services. I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had at Sun Acupuncture!
