I was impressed with the expediant service and friendly employees. I trust their expertise working on my car. The waiting room was extremely clean and the furniture was comfortable. I do wish they would use some other type of cup rather than Styrofoam for coffee since it doesnt recycle, but I am impressed with Flanagans overall.

As a whole, I was satisfied with the service I received. My only suggestion (not a complaint) would be that the service department could also wash a car down when it comes in for a service. It doesnt have to be a full detail job, just a simple wash of the exterior and vacuum of the interior. I know many dealerships that do this and is a very nice complimentary service. It would be a great add to what exceptional service they already offer.

Shannon was great to work with and were really enjoying our new CX-30. You couldnt ask for a more polite and honest salesman. I think we test drove four or five vehicles on the lot and he explained the benefits of each. There was no pressure to buy either. He really made us feel like he was there to help us find the vehicle that was the best fit for what we needed.

It was very difficult to make a service appointment. I called numerous times but no one answered or returned my call. The technician left a greasy palm print on my off-white leather passenger seat. They had to get into my console but failed to put items back in place. They changed my audio from XM to a local station. The work was good but obviously have disregard for the customer. Disappointed.

They were very polite, had masks on which I appreciate & the service was done on time. Plus they provided me with a vehicle so I could get errands done & be ready to drive directly home after they were finished. Thank you very much!

This review is for the sales department. I am so glad we didnt buy from Flanagan Motors. I was getting work completed on my Mazda and brought my mom with me so that she could look at a new Mazda for herself. The salesman was the worst salesman we have ever dealt with. She had decided to look at a new 3 and the salesman barely let her look in the car and when she wanted to test drive he said they only let people test drive that are absolutely buying the car because they want to keep the miles down. Im sure 5 miles around Missoula is really going to lose a sale on a car. She ended up getting a new Acura for a way better deal from Auto nation in Spokane. Absolutely would not recommend Flanagan to anyone.

Best experience at a dealership ever! I have been to many dealerships over the last 2 years looking for just the right car. I have been pressured, discouraged, and bought a car before my Mazda that was reliable, but had a few problems that I felt could have been pointed out by the salesperson. The first test drive at Flanagan was an older model of the vehicle I ultimately purchased, and Chase pointed out the damages on the car for full disclosure. Asked if I wanted to test drive and handed me the keys. No ride along was even hinted at which is a huge indication of a good experience. After the drive, I still wasnt sure if I wanted the size, so I walked away, and Chase was very accommodating, no pressure. When I came back and wanted to purchase the new model, I was not treated any differently, Jim showed me the car and explained the different features, but again, no pressure. I once again was handed the keys for a test drive with no ride along mentioned. Afterwards, Shannon helped me with finalizing the deal and talking numbers and I was not given the run around when negotiating at all. The paperwork portion was just as enjoyable. Since I came in late, I had to come back another time to get a coating on my windshield for the warranty, which they accommodated my schedule very well and even offered a free loaner for the 30 minutes it would take. Best experience from all staff, such a friendly group of people!

This was my third car I’ve purchased from Flannagan Motors and the only dealership in town that I want to work with. I loved my last car (mazda cx5) and bought the newest model. It’s the perfect size for me and has all the features I want. It was so easy to work with the sales department and they were able to get the exact model and color I wanted in quickly without haggling over the price. I always feel like there’s good “car karma” at Flannagan’s!

I made an appointment online for service, but rather than schedule what I asked for the service department called me and tried to upsell me on a much more expensive package. When I arrived, my appointment wasnt in the system - the person at the desk said this is a common problem with appointments made online. The service itself (oil change, tire rotation) was fine and the techs identified and fixed an additional issue for a good price.However, shortly after my service, one of my wheels nearly came off the car because the lug nuts hadnt been tightened all the way. I had to make an emergency stop and then get my rim replaced, and both shops where I had that work done said that my recent service was almost certainly the reason the lug nuts - including the locking one - were loose. I called Flanagan to discuss this with them & they refused to take any responsibility. I wont be back and I wouldnt recommend them because of this.

Another wonderful experience with the Flanagan team! After feeling burned from a few other dealers around Montana, I decided to drive to Missoula to lease my new Mazda. That was 3 years ago and they were so lovely to work with, I did it again!I didnt even waste my time in Bozeman or with the Mazda dealer in Billings (they tried to bait & switch me the first time!) but instead emailed and spoke on the phone with Shannon and Jim to situate a deal. They did a wonderful job keeping me fully informed, answering any questions and helping me secure a car.After a few phone calls and emails I drove to Missoula over the weekend, my car was waiting for me and the paperwork was quick and painless! Shannon, Chase, Laurie, Jim- I cant thank you all enough for making the deal so seamless and taking great care of me! It goes without saying but Ill be back!

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! The owner, Shannon Flanagan, sold me a used vehicle with a bad engine. There was a previous problem of a cylinder burning oil, causing the spark plug to foul, that he was completely aware of, however, it was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. After researching, I found out that two other dealerships said it is a major engine issue & that they would not sell a vehicle with a previous problem like that because the problem will keep happening. Nor would they purchase a vehicle with a previous problem like that. When the spark plug fouls it also causes particles to get in the engine and that can ruin the engine. I have found Shannon to be very dishonest. He will keep saying that he sold the vehicle in good faith even though the other dealerships say it was not sold in good faith. Also, at the time of purchase he told me that his good friend traded in the vehicle, which led me to believe I was getting a good vehicle, & then when I reported the problem to him, he said well, hes not really my good friend, I just know his wife! I asked him to fix the problem and he will not. So, just letting others know, Flanagans is not a good place to get a vehicle. He will eventually rip someone else off with his dishonesty!

I could not be more happy with my daughter’s dealings with Shannon and his crew. They treated her with great respect and fairness and even went out of their way to teach her a few things about cars and buying cars. Our family’s new favorite car dealer!

I would absolutely recommend buying a car from Flanagan Motors! Ive only been a customer at the service department here. Ive always received fair and straight forward quotes and recommendations. The repair work has always been top notch and completed in a timely manner. The shuttle service is convenient and helpful as well.

Have bought a couple used Mazdas here that I have loved. Ive been turned into a devoted Mazda fan. I have had great experiences with the service department. I know they will do the job right and it wont cost more just because it is a dealership. They saved my over $1000 when another shop misdiagnosed the issue and would have charged me $1500 to fix the wrong thing. They have employees that have been there many years and that experience shows

They didnt pressure us to buy. Our salesman, Chase, was super informative. They had a deal where if you got approved, you got an interest free loan. We fell in love with the car and couldnt resist an interest free loan, so we went with it.Now a few months later, we love our car. The CX-5 is a dream. Its very practical, while being sporty and fun to drive. Its also aesthetically a beautiful car. We also get great gas mileage.They had no tricks up their sleeves and were very honest. I cant recommend this dealership enough and they have quality stock.

Just purchased a 2017 Ford Escape last Saturday. Chase was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. With Rita financing the vehicle was smooth sailing. Even though Jim wasnt involved in the transactions he allowed me to pet and play with his two dogs. I hate car shopping but I must admit the Staff at Flanagan Motors made purchasing our vehicle a very pleasant experience.

I was driving from Oregon to Indiana last week and needed brake work. I arrived at Flanagan Motors Mazda on March 4 unannounced and unknown. I explained my problem and asked if they could help me out. They said would check my car and let me know what they discovered. I asked if I could rent a car as I had a meeting in Hamilton the next morning. They said no but that they would give me a loaner for free. That afternoon they called to let me know what the problem was and that the parts would arrive the next morning. I went to my meeting the next day and afterwards I got a call saying the car was done. I went to pay and was told the repairs were all covered by the warranty. Wonderful. I was back on the road by noon on March 5th. The service department at Flanagan Motors Mazda went above and beyond. I cant say enough good things about my experience there. Thank you!!!

Im sure this place is a fine place to buy a car, but do not expect your repairs to go well. My car needed a throwout bearing replaced, which was done in a timely fashion (very quick turnaround). However, the dealership did this job incorrectly, causing the car to not be able to shift within a hundred miles of picking it up. They worked on it a second time, and it still does not shift properly and the clutch is engaged slightly with no pressure on the pedal. The clutch was not adjusted properly either time the work was done, and now I will be dropping the transmission myself after being charged $850 to more or less accomplish nothing. I would not recommend going here to get anything beyond simple bolt-on work fixed.

This wasnt my worst experience with a dealership but it wasnt my best either. I had high hopes but I left feeling like they just didnt want my business. There is a low pressure atmosphere which is nice but there wasnt any room for negotiations on their end which is what buying a car is all about. There is always wiggle room if you want to look for it. From my research on car buying websites some of their listings can be high so, adjustments are important. Please do your research and find a dealer that wont let you walk away.

Purchased a 2012 Ford F-350 from Flanagan. They made the process super easy. My sales rep Jim couldn’t have better job. They worked with me, answered every question I had, took extra pictures, a video and everything to help me make my decision through financing and getting me the best rate possible. Not a single bit of pressure applied. In the end they delivered the truck to me with a full tank of gas. I paid a fair price and got the service of a boutique dealership. Oh, let’s mention I did this from 9400 miles away!

Im not from the area and found it a little difficult to find but once I got there the staff greeted me with smiles and great service even after arriving 10 minutes late for my appointment.

On April 1st my family of 4 were traveling in our 2017 Mazda CX-5 from Calgary on our way to Vegas for a few days to escape the Canadian winter and enjoy the gorgeous, ever-changing north to south American landscape. Unfortunately, about 3 miles north of Helena, we had engine trouble. I will spare the details about the engine (which is being replaced), but do wish to share the experience we had with Flanagan Motors, and Service Advisor Chris specifically. From the first contact through the most recent, Chris has been courteous, respectful, and action oriented. She coordinated with our local dealership in Calgary, as well as with Mazda Canada customer support. No one likes it when something goes wrong with their new car. What sets people and dealerships apart is how they handle issues when they arise. We could not be more impressed with Chris follow-up and coordination efforts. We drove up from Bozeman to get a Mazda 3. They did not have the specific version we wanted on the lot, but they scrambled to find us the right car within a few days. The car arrived with a few shipping related problems, but they fixed everything and delivered the car to us to save us another trip. We were very happy with the effort they made to get us the Mazda 3 we wanted, and not just pressure us to buy what was on the lot that day. I would buy from them again.

So, I called about a car. I was told it was in detail shop that I would not be able to see it that day. The next morning I went in to look at it after being called by the salesman. I was told no one else was looking at the car. After arriving at the dealership, the car was being sold right then. Its pretty shitty I drove 30+ miles to look at a car that I called about the day before. Too just have my time wasted. I will never go back too this dealership because they cant seem to straightforward with people.

When I moved on my own to Missoula I was young and needed somewhere I could trust to take my car. Flanagans was a no brainer. Ive never felt that theyve taken advantage of me in any way. Theyve gotten me in for emergencies so quickly. Id never go anywhere else!
