I am really impressed with the the kind people that have helped me sell some pieces of gold and silver. They are completely knowledgeable, friendly and the staff answered any of questions. I have tried another place in town and I ended up coming back. Even though I was offered the same amount, it was not an atmosphere that was like Missoula Gold & Silver Exchange.

These are not good people. My father was a collector of coins his whole life and when he passed he left us the coins that he had so carefully examined and loved. Sadly we had to part with some and thought of these experts who are literally waiting for someone who is understandably not actually have NO REAL NUMISMATIC KNOWLEDGE AT ALL, They will take advantage of anyone they think they can make a dollar on.

We are downsizing and finally decided to cash in the silverware my wife inherited from her mother because the price of silver was relatively high. We did some research and made some calls, but were a little concerned about a process so foreign to us. Eric made us feel comfortable immediately. He was patient with our questions and he explained everything in a way that we could understand from grading the silver content to weighing the pieces. We felt that we received a fair price from a man and a store with integrity.As we read in a previous review, the transaction was professional, fast, and easier than we expected. I sent a friend to get me some 1 troy oz.. coins... they charge $3.60 on every coin!!! Ridiculous!!! Go to Grizzly across the street... its usually a dollar over each...

I had to unload a lot of bullion and their prices were fair. I wasnt tempted to go to spokane to see if i could do better.

Great pricing, friendly staff. I dont know what some of these other reviewers are talking about. Oh, and to the guy bitching about the weights- do you know what a troy ounce is? It is what they use in the precious metals business, and 19.4 oz on the post office scale is only 17.6 troy oz. So perhaps you should admit you got mad at a nice old guy because you dont know what you are talking about.I have been buying from these guys since 2004 and keep going back.

Definitely the most unproffesionally ran business Ive experienced in my 40 years of living in Missoula . Very over priced with poor customer service. Its hard to grasp how a business like this stays in business. Management needs to take a serious look at making some changes. I would not recommend Missoula Gold and Silver to anyone.

The term customer service as well as professionalism....Im surev These folks dictionary must read, poor behavior, insulting comments to serious questions, as well as a very nasty vulgar man running the place that is The rudess in the fair land, having not a mirror on the wall, but a chair built of iron And a personality that ...says...we are doing YOU a favor by allowing your business. And yes, prices are so high, you walk out feeling atop Mtn Everest. This place is one the few Missoulas past bys. I would rather find a lawn mover to lay in front of than return.

Ive been in this store many times and always had a good experience. Ive been buying 10 troy silver from them for a while now. Im suspicious of these anonymous google reviews leaving this business bad reviews. One reviewer didnt even know the difference between ounces and troy ounces. Beware of ignorant reviewers.
