Great Homes is like it says...... Great.....very helpful.showed us around, explained it all....awesome people.........
We were very happy with the modular home we bought through Great Homes. They use quality people for set up and interior work. They also were very good on follow up with any issues we had, and Josh did it with a very accommodating and helpful attitude. All in all we would highly recommend them! We love our cabin/ home!
Nice cuztomesetvice very informative
We loved every part of our experience with Great Homes! Max was attentive and answered our questions in a timely manner. Josh’s communication was excellent, everything was concise and transparent. We love our home, so pleased we went with this company for such an important purchase.
Very nice upper end homes that can be fully customized. Friendly knowledgeable staff that dont follow you around and try to sell. Because these are upper end homes they come with an upper end price tag.
I love my new home! It turned out great. Max was very helpful and not at all pushy. Our kitchen is so big that we still havent completely filled it up.Update December 2020: we really enjoyed our first couple of months living in our home but the longer we live here the more we notice certain things arent done very well. I wouldnt ever purchase another one and I encourage others to avoid it if at all possible. Probably the worst thing being that there is no sub floor underneath the bathroom cabinets. We have had several mice escape into the house with the lack of sub floor. I can live with everything else but I really hate mice. 😣
Nothing wrong with living in a mobile home. Cheap lot rent and a nice roof over your head. Place looks clean.
Terrible company. I regret ever going to them and I dont want others to make the same mistake I did. Lets start at the beginning. We were looked in the eye and told our home would be ready before Christmas. This was during our last meeting with salesman-after we gave him the check of course. The home wasnt completed until two months after promised date. Then the walkthrough. Josh the site manager shows up a half hour late and blames bad roads. I drive from where our home was built to Missoula on a daily basis for work in a sedan and I am never late for work. Ever. There were no storms or weather changes the night before and Josh pulls up in a huge pickup with a plow on front-late.There were small issues everywhere in the home but I will stick to the major ones:Wall in utility room wall bowed out-you can actually see the stud poking through.Another wall leading into the utility room crooked. The trim around floors-placed by Great Homes-looks like it was put on by a blind drunk chimp with shaky hands, (see pictures.)Main bay living room room completely crooked on frame of house. When we were discussing the defects Josh-Great Homes site manager who showed up late-actually tried to blame the trim Great Homes installed on had to be that way based on the way the walls were constructed. He also said, and I quote- we might not be able to get the house up to your standards.Yup you have standards for your brand new house Great Homes openly states they may not be met.We insisted on the trim being fixed before signing any papers. A new window was ordered and the crooked, bowing walls nothing could be done about unless house was taken back. A week passed and trim was acceptable, if not perfect, and we were given keys and made arrangements, (trucks, people changing schedules to help move, time off work), to move in-only to discover keys didnt fit locks and we couldnt get into house. We had to re arrange schedules once again and wait for Great Homes to replace doorknobs because they couldnt locate correct keys. Now three months into home:-First time using spare bathroom crawlspace flooded because pipe was never connected.-Dishwasher leaking.-Master bath pipe under sink leaking.-kitchen counter bowing.-microwave fan vent not connected properly and rattling.-house van rattling loudly.-noticed calk not placed around spare bathtub.-had serviceman out to get a quote for central AC. He was looking at furnace and found instruction book for furnace-dry paper not even wrapped in plastic-shoved back on top of furnace-on the heater. Lucky my new home didnt burn down. This is just a partial list as word count is limited in these reviews.A few points I need to add-Josh apologized the week after for getting hot. during walkthrough. Why a site manager would get hot with customers after showing up late and glaring defects pointed out-well you have to ask Great Homes about that. And their common excuse for everything that is wrong is to blame the factory. If you go to a restaurant and the seat is uncomfortable and the steak chewy and rancid do you blame the carpenter who made the chair and the ranch the steak comes from? No the restaurant chose to deliver those products to you just as Great Homes chose to deliver this house. It is the product they are selling. If I had to describe Great Homes and the product they deliver in one word-Sloppy.To the owners response on the trim. It was completed according to Great Homes. They wanted me to sign the final paperwork saying it was ready to move in. It wasn’t until I insisted the trim be fixed that it was repaired - but make no mistake - they thought that was acceptable work for a customer to sign off on.And yes, one key worked, in a side door with no steps and no realistic way to move anything in. The front and back door keys were the wrong ones.
