We have been looking at electric vehicles for a while and finally settled on the Volkswagen ID.4. After a month of ownership and 1800 miles, we could not be more happy with our decision. Central Valley VW was awesome to work with and Julio, our salesman, was really helpful. These cars are hot right now and it’s pretty hard to get ahold of one so Julio called us when a few ID.4’s were literally being unloaded off the truck. We rushed down and picked out the Pro S with gradient package. My wife got to help unwrap the car which she absolutely loved. I highly recommend Central Valley VW and Julio, but can also say that the entire staff was great.

The service itself is okay, but they RARELY answer the phone when you’re trying to schedule an appointment or follow up on your vehicle.If you call Sales they will answer right away though, cause apparently that’s all their interested in. I’ve owned several brands of cars and VW (Modesto specifically) has easily been the worst at getting any work done on the car.

Hard to find words to describe Luis Casapia commitment to help my wife finding her new car. After a couple of hours showing her some options she got to the final decision to go for the Hyundai Santa fe xrt black edition. I went in on 2 occasions, first just to look around and see what my options were for the new Hyundais. Mo saw us outside and came out to greet us and offer assistance in any way, he was immediately very knowledgeable, you could tell he knew what he was talking about. I am the type of person that wants to look around and take my time and he had no problems with that and was available to answer any questiouns. We left that day with a good feeling about this experience. Then we came back about a week later ready to purchase and Mo was there, we asked for him since our interaction with him had been so positive. He remembered details that I had told him I wanted in a car and was happy to see us back. I test drove the Hyundai that I thought I wanted and then we took a walk and saw another that once I drove it I fell in love, so again Mo was there able to help make that purchase a reality. I have been in retail management for over 30 years and to find someone who really enjoys their job and does what ever they can to help that customer is a rarity, so I had to make sure this young man got all the credit he can for making our experience at Hyundai in Modesto an excellent one. Cris and Cezar are the best! I was buying a used VW from another dealership that had less than 6,000 miles on it. The check engine light kept coming on for low evap system leak. I brought the car in for what I thought would be a warranty repair. The service department already knew the car had damage from when the previous buyer brought the car in. The service department explained the evap canister was cracked in half and it was from an impact. The other dealer already knew about the damage and failed to disclose it. I decided at that point to take the car back to the small used car dealer and buy a car here. Cris and Cezar took care of me from start to finish on selecting the car and getting the deal done. Everyone I met and interacted with have been top notch and treated me like I was family. I feel like the people here have gone out of there way to make sure I am happy with my purchase and will be there for me in the future. I cannot say enough good things about Central Valley Volkswagen.

I had a great experience purchasing our brand new 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. I live in Sacramento and I looked at the local lots to get a feel for which car we wanted. Once I figured that out I did a search for the trim, color and features we wanted. Central Valley got in touch with me and had multiple cars on lot. They did a great job of communicating and answering my questions. We went back and forth almost exclusively through email and text message which really worked for my busy schedule. We were able to come to a great deal without me even going into the dealership. They made me comfortable driving the 90 mins to pick up the car sight unseen. I was really impressed at how quick they responded to all my inquires and from multiple people, they were really eager to take care of my car needs. When I got down there the car looked and drove great. The paperwork was a breeze and I drove home with my first Volkswagen.

I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from Central Valley Hyndaui/Volkswagen. I was looking for a Tacoma with certain features and initially was connected to this dealer through CarGurus.com. On the same day, I contacted several dealers and private parties for other listings and this dealer was the only one that responded within 24 hours. In fact they responded and reached out within hours and provided a CarFax report, and a video/FaceTime tour (I’m located in Fresno). I mostly worked with Luis and Gabi. Luis went above and beyond during my whole transaction. I had financing through my bank and he along with his team graciously helped me get the bank what they needed and all of it was done digitally and within COVID-19 guidelines.The car is immaculate. I have had issues purchasing used cars in the past so I was hesitate to purchase. Luis answered all my questions and gave whatever I needed and I felt very comfortable working with him. I can tell that their team detailed the car prior to delivery and overall I’m just so happy with the quality and representation of the vehicle. It’s better than I expected, truly.Gabi and another team member traveled from Modesto to deliver the car to me. On top of the great customer service, they also have a 5 day return policy so just to cover all my bases I hired a vehicle inspector to inspect and test drive the vehicle after it was delivered. He said that the car was in great condition and was very clean. He actually said he was surprised by the quality. No issues beyond normal wear and tear for used vehicle but even then very minimal.All this being said, it could have just been a great transaction but seeing how they care for their customers and the quality of the cars they have, this dealer is seriously the most professional and caring dealership I have ever dealt with. I’ve purchased cars brand new from the original dealer before and I would still say that this dealer was better. Also, I got a great price considering all the above. Below KBB.I would not hesitate to recommend them 10/10.

They even set up a caravan to travel an hour back to my house so that we could deliver my new car to my house that very day. I believe the driver’s name was Ed and he was very nice and helpful as well. I look forward to visiting the dealership when my service and maintenance needs arise.

Customer Service is horrible at Central Valley VW. I live in Modesto but will now be taking my VW to Tracy. My service light was on, and I kid you not, I called Central Valley VW 10 times and got bounced around more than a kickball at an elementary school. I called Tracy VW and 3 minutes later had all the info I needed. I have a major service interval coming up and it looks Tracy VW will get my money. Sorry not sorry Central Valley VW.
