The guys here are great! I was shocked at how good prices were compared to what I was finding online. They had the rims and tires I wanted in stock. Rafael in particular was a big help when we dropped off my Jeep. Helpful and efficient! They had my new shoes on within a few hours and she looks SO good!! Definitely reccomemd!!!

4 wheel brake job done, came in under original estimate. So far, so good. Truck stops as it should and no more noise from brakes. Truck was on original brakes at over 110k miles and they were always noisy. Now, they are quiet. They also reset TPMS sensors to read the right locations. Very pleased so far.

Excellent personnel friendly make me comfortable coming to this place after under new owner I will continue doing my business here and even before I did my business here my nephews and myself good work keep it up and you have me as a client

I had a good experience the people there were pleasant and very professional and explaining what they had done to my vehicle it was done in a timely fashion and I drove my vehicle about 50 60 miles now and it does seem perfect thank you City tire

I was quoted to get my truck lifted to stock height from lowered. I was going to get the parts and bring them in but the guy insisted that he can get them for me. Long story short they didnt put new front struts on just the new coils when I was told the front where bad and I needed new front struts assembly. Tried talking to them about it, played me with the well we only quoted you to get back to stock height BS. Plus they didnt even give me back my lowering spindles or flip kit. Probably put them on someone elses car to come up again. Never been to a shop like this until April. Wouldnt ever go back or refer any one here.

City Tire is hand down THE GREATEST spot to go for your breaks/tires/suspension needs! Got my car lowered, new tires, as well as a bunch of stuff on all of my current cars and previous cars. I purchased tires for my Matrix in 2012. I am now heading back for new tires. I had planned on making an internet purchase and they were one of the approved installers. But when I called to speak with them about how it would be handled, I was offered a better deal by the sales person. The service was incredible and now I am going back.

I no longer live in Modesto, but after terrible, unprofessional service at the chain stores, I will be purchasing all of my tires from Craig at City Tire in the future. Bought my first wheels and tires at City Tire for my 68 C-10 when I was in high school ten years ago because my dad had been going there since he was in high school. It is worth the drive for me because of family service and the time theyll spend with you to find something you like/need, rather than what gives them the highest margins.

I was going to get my tires with them because they are close to my house, no matter how much. I get in there no one is there and then a lady that is ready to pay comes in and the owner jumps up and starts ringing her up! Still havent acknowledge me at all. So I believe they dont acknowledge you unless they you are paying!

I recently had my tires replaced on my Mercedes-Benz at City Tire Sales. On a scale from 1 - 10, these guys get a 10 on service, people skills, friendliness, hospitality, cleanliness, and facility. The other tire places in town dont even come close in my opinion!

Good service on my car by Manuels brother and Manuel. I gave them fish and crab as usual. I missed seeing George at the front counter.

I had been to several places before going here and was really excited that when they called to see if they could get the rims I wanted and was told yes and I placed an order. Now 3 weeks later almost no rims. Now I am told that they cant find out until next Friday if they will even be making more....something isnt right here...So I go down to the store and tell them show me what you have in my size as options and lets see what we can do...without hesitation the owner tells his employee we have nothing...at that point I said forget it, I dont have time for this refund my deposit and I will go somewhere else. He didnt even want to try....the customer service was horrible will never do business there and do not recommend them.

This is a very fair and friendly shop. I went it with a nail in my tire a few days before Christmas. They found and fixed in without an appointment. I went to the counter to pay and was told no charge! I was so thankful.

Came in to get my tires balanced and the guy at the counter asked me what kind of car. He went out and looked at it and told me my stock rims and tires could not be balanced and gave me some bs excuse. Not good service.

I had a flat tire last week and replaced it with my doughnut so I could find a repair place. After a quick search online I found this shop. An hour (it was close to close and there were a few cars ahead of me) and $15 later my tire was ready and they even had me pull up so they could re-install it for me.If I ever need tires thisll definitely be the first place I look from now on!

I was just today not one hour from the time I am writing this that the company no longer was interested in moving forward in ordering rims for my 2001 BMW 740IL City Tire Sales were in the words of George Raymond Passing on this. Reason given was that a shake or vibration that is now present while driving 60-75 MPH. May not go away with installation of the new rims. George Raymond who is in charge at this place informed me in person while I was attempting to leave a deposit he told me I needed to leave before he would obtain the rims from the vender he buy rims from.Keeping in mind this is two weeks after I informed George that I did want to move forward with the rims purchase to try and solve the shake/vibration that seemingly inly started after City Tire sales had done work and installed tires on current rims.First visit on 9/1/16 was for $60.00 and was for tire rotation and balance. No mention of shake or vibration. Did they check or road test?Second on 9/8/16. Service preformed was an alignment and front center link for total of $377.13. Again no mention of shake or vibration.Third visit on 11/19/2016. Service preformed was another alignment. Lower control arm front end. Two of these services, one for right side and one for left side. $589.98 in bills. Still no mention of a shake or vibration.The shake and vibration would persist enough for me to return about one month and a half from today for a tire rotation and to ask them to please investigate the shake and vibration. George Raymond informed me at that time that my car needed hub rings and that I would most likely not find them due to the age of rims. The owner of City Tire Sales even took me to the shop to show me why my car needed these rings to go along with the rim to the rotor.So it was decided that I would get new rims and keep my tires as they are brand new. George Raymond says to check out TSW rims and let him know if I would like to buy them. The next available day City Tire Sales is open I call and inform George Raymond to get a certain rim that I like. George Raymond informs me the vendor he used is out of stock and it will be perhaps two weeks. The two weeks goes by and after no return phone call from George Raymond I call and try to get this transaction complete because I need my car to be in working order, Also who knows what kind of damage that could be happening to my car with this shake or vibration not being fixed.George Raymond calls me back and lets me know of three in stock rims that are available now. I like none of these and ask that he try and get one I like. George Raymond calls back today 5/25/17 to tell me that my second choice of Rim is available and that if I want them to put a deposit down. When I arrive to give George Raymond the money so I can resolve this issue George Raymond condescendingly tells me they pass on this they do not want to work on my vehicle due to age and miles.Age was not an issue when they accepted the $1,027.11 to do repairs to my vehicle previously. Also in that time before bringing my vehicle for service at City Tire Sales I had not in the seven years of ownership of my vehicle ever experienced the shake or vibration felt after my vehicle being at City Tire and wheel.Family has been and I am in the Auto sales industry. I trusted my personal vehicle to City Tire Sales for the same reason most people due in Modesto CA. I am somewhat relieved that I will no longer be spending my hard earned money at City Tire Sales.I was in my opinion treated very poorly. George Raymond is very condescending, crass, rude, matter of fact. But not to all I have seen him nice to others the way customers should be treated, Only I did not receive such treatment in my opinion.

I use to like city tire but I was looking for tires at this place and was going to buy them if they had them. Problem was no one ever helped me or acknowledged my existence as a customer. I stood behind a set of 4 men at the counter waiting to be help and one salesman was looking up prices tired and the other who I think may have been the owner was gossiping about how his brother cheated the government out of taxes and how much someone sold their hot rod for. I waited for about 15 mins behind them with another customer lining up behind me. After feeling ignored and thinking Im wasting my time here I left for another place.
