Chad was extremely helpful! He explained the entire process and made suggestions with handling the warranty process. You can tell he is extremely honest and knowledgeable. I have never had such excellent service and communication by a mechanic and I will definitely be back. As someone who doesnt know much about cars, it was very comforting to have each step explained and to not be treated poorly due to my lack of knowledge. So happy to have found a shop I can trust!

Awesome little shop. Have basic hand tools set. It truly is a great place for oil changes or really any other work you need to do. Also a great spot to go when youre working side jobs. The owner is a great guy and he knows his stuff too would definitely recommend 10/10. Rates arent bad either. They have the know-how to help with any job. They also are willing to do the job for you if you feel you arent up to the task. Great group of guys. Will be definitely coming back thanks again Chad and Mitchell!

Went in to do an oil change and install a torque arm insert, my first time getting under the car. Chad showed me how to use the lift and was courteous and helpful whenever I had a question or needed something. The space was clean, well-lit, and laid out logically, and the selection of tools was more than enough to do the work. This is a great place to work on your car, highly recommended.

Chicagoland DIY Automotive garage is as close to a dream garage as youre likely to see. A short drive from Chicago and heated well enough in the Winter that you can work in your short sleeves ! I rented the flat space for a couple of hours to do some work on my front struts and was very happy with the experience. Owner, Chad was a huge help with making sure you know where everything is located and got me a couple of parts I needed to the garage quickly. Now, my abilities as a speedy mechanic are another story. I would rent the space again. Thanks Chad!

Employees on duty are highly knowledgeable and generous with their assistance, though you are still expected to actually execute most of the work (hence DIY). Definitely recommend this shop if its your first time executing any standard repairs/maintenance!!

We need more of these places. They have the tools, the hoist, the facility to help you get your own car work done. Tires installed, wheel studs replaced, rear brakes replaced, oil change done. All for less than 200 bucks great help when a stuck adjuster was slowing things down. Highly recommend if you can do youre own work

I have only good things to say about this place. The facility is clean and stocked with ample tools and equipment. Chad and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. I now do all of my automotive work here and highly recommend it to any other DIY type individuals.

Highly recommended. Spent a few hours here getting my car ready for track season. The shop is very clean and well organized, and the equipment is great. Being able to book online makes is so simple! I will be returning in the future.

It was the first time for me getting into car maintenance DIY and I was cautiously optimistic at best. But Chad the owner really made the whole experience positive. He was extremely helpful at key times when I had problems/issues I could not solve on my own. Chad stepped in and just resolved the problems. Seems like a very knowledgeable guy and very friendly and helpful. Came here to replace my shocks. Didnt have a whole lot of experience, but Chad was there to help in everyway. Without him, I would have spent over 300 in labor at dealership vs 83 dollars for the flat bay for 2.5 hours. Will be back for sure. Great conversation and a wealth of experience!!!
