I have been going to AVC for years now, Dr. Peterson always take his time and make s you feel important. He goes above and beyond to make things right, and he is not afraid to think outside the box. Dr Doherty went out of her way to do an extra dilation and eye exam and noticed bleeding and swelling behind my eyes. A trip to ER and CT scan revealed a golf ball sized tumor that would not have been found otherwise. Very thankful for her thoroughness and diligence.

My glasses broke so obviously I had to make a appointment. Only thing they could was to get me in the the Manhattan office a month and a half later. I made the appointment and wore glasses that were over 5 years old to get by. 5 days before my scheduled appointment I started getting texts and actual phone messages about my appointment. Fine. Then I started getting messages that if I didnt show up for the appointment I would be charged. I got 9 of these types of messages. Still have them saved. Less than 24 hours before my appointment they called me and cancelled. Gave no reason. Told me to call a number. Have called and left 6 messages, no response. The best part of this is I work with the public and can tell 50 people a day about my experience. My goal is to see that building on Wolf Rd. closed, and other Absolute centers right there with them. Absolute wants my family of 5 who all have eye situations to find somewhere to, congrats you did that part correct.Addition:. Everything in the Dr. response is absolutely true. They did contact me a few days later and got me in on a Sunday. I have since bought my new glasses through them.Thank you!!!!

Ive had very positive experiences with ease of scheduling, helpfulness of all the staff, competence of the doctors and assistants!

I had a medical emergency and Dr. Peterson fit me in on the weekend. He found my problem ( which was a piece of mulch in my tear duct) and removed it without incident. I was so relieved and didnt experience any pain whatsoever. Im thankful for his expertise and his mannerisms. Hes an excellent physician and highly recommend him to everyone! His staff, Jessica in particular, are wonderful and very attentive and extremely helpful going above and beyond. Thank you all for helping me so quickly and Im pain free!!!

I had an appointment that needed to be modified last minute due to an unexpected funeral I wanted to attend. The staff went out of their way to contact other clients to see if they could move patients around and get me in sooner so I may attend the funeral. They worked hard and were able to get me in earlier and out on time. I am very grateful for their efforts.

The staff, although there seems to be new faces every year, have always been friendly and professional. The only downside, which is why Im rating 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. Even with insurance, be prepared to pay a lot for glasses. I understand things are expensive but the sticker shock sometimes still gets me. All in all, i highly recommend Absolute Vision Care.

The optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff are all exceptional. I came in recently to have eye exams completed for myself and my very energetic eight year old son, who really struggled to sit still for the process. Each staff member I encountered was helpful, kind, and understanding.The associate who helped me order our glasses was able to answer all of my questions and helped to order the frames we wanted in sizes that were not in stock. She was very patient with my little guy who was not exactly the most cooperative.The doctor also talked with my son to about the importance of him wearing his glasses every day (which has been an ongoing struggle) and provided me with some strategies to help positively reinforce his behavior. The staff really went the extra mile to make our visit a great one!

I ordered new lenses for my glasses and thought it would takeweeks. In a week I was notified my glasses were ready.Pickup was easy.....just call in......and out they came with my glasses.Thank You.

They do not inform you of cost, extra fees. Dr. Smith was great. He is no longer there. I was not told that over the phone. Not a good selection of eye glass frames. Look elsewhere.

I had a serious issue going on with headaches and my doctor advised I get my eyes looked at. We are in the middle of this virus issue and panicked when I thought I would not be able to be seen. The response was prompt, they isolated my visit, and everything is on the way to being resolved. The love and care from this office is outstanding. Have been a patient at AVC for over 10 years. I feel that the staff and the doctors provide excellent care with thorough eye exams. Have also taken my mom there for an exam and she was pleased as well. Lastly, if there is an eye issue that comes up, the staff makes sure you are seen by one of the doctors there within a day.

I was able to get appointments when we needed them, in spite of Covid, which was important to us. There were changes in available suppliers and the office knew how to work past that and everyone did their job completely, no short cuts.

I was there yesterday to get my eye exam and two new glasses: regular glasses and sunglasses. I highly recommended to get an appointment with Dr. Sowinski he is awesome, very professional, fun to talk to, and he is a big Marvel comic fan as well. The service was excellent, they were very helpful,and I got my 2 awesome glasses from Absolute Vision care I cant wait to get them soon!!

Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr Peterson for over 23 years. Our two sons now also see Dr Peterson for their yearly checkups. In all these years we have never had a problem getting in to see the doctor for whatever reason. My husband at one time needed an emergency visit and Dr Peterson stayed extra late on a Saturday just to see him. The follow up from Dr Peterson and his staff in the days that followed was above and beyond what you could ever expect. I came in thinking I had pink eye, they gave quick and courteous service!! The doctor explained everything he was doing thoroughly. I would definitely recommend them.

Service is good but the yearly exam people always look confused when doing the test. Dr. Peterson is great. The one negative is that glasses are way too expensive. Spending 600 bucks for glasses is insanity. Just replacing the glass was 400 bucks. I didnt want to but had to.Thank God I have some insurance

My family moved about an hour away from their office but come back because of how wonderful they are. Everyone from the doctors, techs, reception etc are just as friendly as can be and we never feel rushed or pressured to do anything.My wife had trouble with her contacts for years before we were married.
