Ive brought my vehicle to QC Auto Service a few times now, and Ive never been disappointed. They do great work and their customer services is second to none!

Fantastic customer service! Staff are super friendly and take the time to clearly explain what exactly you are paying for. They are also super accommodating. Prior to my appointment I had stated I needed the car done by the end of the day. When there was an unexpected part needed for my car, the assistant manager drove out to get it so I could have my car ready before closing. They really care about the customers satisfaction and the quality of their work. Pricing is very reasonable and I even saved a bunch of money from discounts. Would highly recommend to anyone with car troubles 11/10.

I am 70 years old and was traveling alone. The rear brakes were leaking fluid and my brakes failed. I stopped and talked to Ryan Frantz. He told me what was wrong and what it would cost to repair. I thought he might be taking advantage of me. I asked him if he would talk to my mechanic. He really should have been offended, but graciously agreed. My mechanic told me Ryan had indeed, talked to him. With what I told him was happening Ryan was spot on, and the price was in line. I stopped to have the l lug nuts re-torqued and met Ryans manager, Matt Worthen. I am very impressed with the quality of all their employees! I would highly recommend QC Auto Service, in Moline, IL.

Ryan is the best hes very helpful and will do his very best to get your vehicle fixed and as cheap as possible obviously some things are more expensive than others but any time I need something fixed I will definitely bring it here 😀

I had a very positive an excellent experience dealing with Ryan Frantz at the QC auto service in Moline Illinois. I was in transit crossing the country when the engine began feeling sluggish and the check engine light came on, I promptly pulled off at the next exit which happened to be Moline Illinois not far from Kusi auto service I went to the location Ryan was very courteous and professional, he told me he would get my vehicle in the days lineup and I assumed it would be a several hour affair, but was pleasantly surprised when he called me after a little over an hour and he said that it just needed a tuneup, I gave them the authorization and QC change the plugs, wires, ignition coil, fuel filter and recommended other minor repairs such as change windshield wiper blades etc. and they completed the tune up In a timely manner, went over the guarantee with me, and I was very pleased and impressed overall with the courteousness, attention to detail, professionalism, Knowledge and efficiency of QC auto service manager Ryan Frantz and I highly recommend this location!

Did the custom exhaust on my Mercedes, Sounds great and they did a good job on the piping and welds.

My family were clients for over 15 years, best service.We are a retired military family and loved how honest the manager was. He made a list of 1 through 10 that need to be done. That helped us so much. About year ago the whole place changed. The people that would take care of us were no longer with Moline location. We had work done not knowing of the change. So after picking our car there was $300 more than we signed up for. And the new manger was very rude and stated he let us know of the amount. We will never recommend or use there services again! Be careful what you agree too and the amount that is quoted. 0 stars

Ryan at the Moline location is a real asset. He was informative and went the extra steps in making sure my extended warranty claim for the work that I needed done was handled. I thought I found a good place I could trust to get my oil changed where they wouldnt tell me things were wrong with my truck that were not wrong just to get my money. Then they tried to tell me I needed new ball joints which I just had replaced last month. I am a female not an idiot! Which is more than I can say for those guys. I wont miss QC Auto in Moline.

Derrick is amazing. He treats women customers with integrity and honesty. I know this bcs that is how we met. When I was looking for a shop, I would call for a price and then a day later I would have my husband call. Derrick told the both of us the same price and other stuff I dont understand. For over 10+ years I have been a customer. They have helped me with all sorts of issues even if it was just me, who now knows why the front tires always look lower than the back ones. If Derrick leaves he better leave me a fella with a glowing recommendation, because he just cant be replaced. If I dont talk to him I dont go. The shop guys do wonderful work as well. They always leave my car clean, the tall guy is super nice too.

I called QC Auto Service about an issue with my transmission and got me in immediately. They completed a diagnostic search and determined I should take it to a dealer instead. They printed off the codes and recommend I give the sheet to the dealer. They also refused to charge me for the diagnostic test because they didnt provide any other services. I highly recommend QC Auto Service for their honesty and great service!

Derek is extremely knowledgable and totally professional in every business transaction he makes. As a woman, I trust him to tell me only what I need to fix my car and nothing more. He is the most honest guy I have ever met in the auto repair business. He tells you what you need now, and what repairs you will need in the next six months so you can start saving funds for those repairs. I tend to do a lot of custom work on my project truck. Some things I cant handle. Derek has always been willing to accommodate for this, but always up front if the task is out of their comfort zone. He has always been there to speak honestly.

Took my van here because I had what i thought was a minor Trans leak. Derek walked me through his diagnosis and we ended up concluding that it was oil coming off the trans pad. Was very honest and in no way tried to sell me anything I didnt need.Highly recommend

I happen to stop by Q.C. Auto Service in Moline Monday November 5TH. Notice on the sign outside they were running a sale on tires. So I decided to stop in there. And they all were very helpful to me got me right in that day to get them on. Plus let me know about my tire rod needed to be fix also. I thought there price was very reasonable if I happen went to Dealer Ship I Probably would of got charge more than that. I believe thats where Ill start taking my car to from now on. Been coming here for years because of the good work, honesty and all around experience of the techs. However, I have to go there this morning and find out WHY something is still leaking from under the hood. Was there just a month ago and thought my problems were fixed. Had to do with the transmission fluid leaking. Had my oil changed and expected that all the vehicles fluids were checked. Well, earlier this week, my steering wasnt feeling right so I checked the power steering fluid. The power steering fluid reservoir was 99% empty!!! And yesterday, every time the car changed gears, it would make a noise. It was not a smooth transition changing gears. Never had this problem before. Had a friend in the car and first thing he said was transmission fluid. So hopefully, the problems will be fixed this morning because I need my car. Based on the years Ive been coming here, I will not give a low star review. Ive always been happy with everything from QC - Moline. Also.......miss Derek!!!

First they misdiagnosed the problem and then they found the problem after a while. I okayed them to replace the other part but then they replaced two more parts without telling me. One of which was $179 and the other was $87 plus labor. They finally got it all back together and then it wouldnt start in park so had to take it back the next day so they can adjust the linkage. I am not a happy camper, although they did fix the problem it cost me way more than what it should have without my permission

Excellent! I needed rear rotors and brake pads. I first went to Midas in Moline. Midas was going to charge me $455.00. I went to this place and they only charged me $270.00 to do the exact same job! They also got it done very quickly and have great customer service!

My family & I were traveling for vacation & our AC was not cooling. Hot & cranky, I found QC Auto Service online because it wasnt too far from our hotel. I called about two hours before we arrived to see if they could get me in & they said that would be no problem. They got us in & were able to fix our AC & it worked our entire vacation and all the way home! AND, when I asked Alex about fun things to do, he printed a sheet off for me & took the time to give us some pointers on a few of the different choices! Alex & Derek were very professional & helpful. I would definitely go back!

I recently purchased a different car (used) that will be needing work. I took my previous car here and the staff was always courteous and willing to work with you on pricing and service. My latest expierience was drastically different. I scheduled some work for routing work that was competitively priced. But when I asked to include a very basic addition to the job they quoted an unreasonable price and were not as friendly at all. I believe now that they have gotten busier they are able to pick and choose the work they want by over pricing service. My advice, take you car somewhere else.

Great customer service

I had called several garages to see if I could have someone come out to change a flat and open up my car since my keys were locked in the ignition. I was told several things by the different garages I called--anything from my wait time would be between 4 and 5 hours to I would have to have my car towed in order to change a flat and i think i got a lecture on the benefits of having an auto club membership..however, it was on one of these phone calls that I was given the name of QC Auto Service and I called them. They were very nice and very polite. They were prompt and explained what they were doing as they went along. They treated my car like it was their car and I liked that. These guys are great!Thank you for helping me--you guys rock!!

Our teenage son had a flat but couldnt get one of the lug nuts off. We had it towed to QC Auto Service, where Scott got the tire changed to the spare, with four brand new lug nuts, for no charge. They always try to work with us on price, but this was above and beyond.

Where to begin? First off, go and see Mark! I went in with no appointment and explained a very unusual, time sensitive matter. Without any hesitation, he pulled up my moms previous vehicle history, added information to the work order, and assured me he could accommodate my needs. Not only did he foresee issues that might arise prior to fulfilling a large work order/estimate, he was honest and didnt charge us extra even though I easily gave him the opportunity by pointing out something that was a concern to me. After having his mechanics inspect everything, he explained (in plain english) what was NEEDED and why, and then gave me a fair price. Another repair place near by charge my mom an arm and a leg for work that wasnt even completed properly and we will NEVER go back, and certainly tell people to stay very far away from them. (Needless to say, we had a bad year instead of their name sake there.) Do yourself a favor, get an estimate from Mark and the crew at QC Auto Service before you authorize work anywhere else. You might find it to be the same or lower, but you can rest assured it will at least be honest and timely. Thanks again Mark, for giving me the peace of mind to know that I can send my mom some place and she wont be fleeced!

QC Auto is my go to shop for car problems and has been for years. Derek, the manager, is top notch. He has never failed me. Honest, fair, and wont push unnecessary services.

I drive my cars until theyre old and take care of them and have used different mechanics/auto services in three states. QC Auto has always gotten me in quick and leveled with me (a layperson) about what should be done now and what can wait. I trust them and know some by name. That goes a long way in my book. May as well give a shout out to Derek while Im at it. Hes the face of the Moline site and I trust him. Thats a valued trust when one is putting 50 dollars into a car or 1,000 dollars.

Got charged over $400 to install cheap part, didnt fix problem..came back few months later, they said needed same thing done to vehicle, I said oh really you just changed those..they quickly changed what they said needed to be fixed to 2 other possible things..they have no idea what theyre doing unless its tires or an oil change. Instead of offering to replace what should be under warranty since they installed the supposed broken part in way less than a years time, they quoted me another over $300..instead, I went to a shop 3 lights up on same road and got vehicle fixed for 1/3 the price..only got charged $25 for labor versus you crooks! GO TO CAMFIELDS.

Very nice didnt just stand there and act like I wasnt in the room. Made an appointment for an oil change and got in and out fast. Well be coming back next time.

I just got off the phone with Derek and, since the previous reviews were helpful, I was compelled to add one as well. I have recently purchased a used car for my teenage son and wanted to make sure it was safe for him to drive. I thought I needed a new muffler, etc., but Derek was straight with me. He told me what he suspected the noise was and how much it would cost to fix it. We agreed for now it was not urgent and didnt affect the reliability of the car. So for now, nothing was needed and he did not push service that wasnt necessary at this time.So glad I was told to go there by the Ford Dealership and a coworker. I will go back in a heartbeat.

Very rude service I needed a price quote to have a catalytic converter welded on & they told me they had to look at it so they could quote me & i told them i will be there & when i got there they where real rude and did not even wanna look at my car to price quote me bad service and thats a lie when I called you said come down to get a price quote because it somethimy you had to look at so I went to your shop you said you cant look at it and when I was trying to explain what I needed done you kept cutting me off like you did not want my business and you did not even offer to schdule me a appointment! And of course im gonna leave from bad service and made a complaint with your boss.

I would give zero stars if I could. The second time I went here they have me a long list of things that were wrong with it. I knew one of the things they said needed replaced, I had just bought last year. I took it to a more trusted business, Slaydens, where I found out that the people who work for qc auto were just trying to take advantage of me. Not everyone has a few thousand dollars that they can throw around. DO NOT GO HERE. whats worse is that they will tell you to your face that they arent trying to screw you. Even though thats exactly what they are trying to do. PLACES LIKE THIS MAKE ME SICK.

Once for a clutch, another time for brakes and timing belt and new tires, and just recently for a catalytic converter. Every time, Derick figured out what to do and how to do it in an economically feasible way without compromising mechanical performance. As a young man and college student, they saw me and felt compelled to give me a run for my money. Its disheartening theyre just out to make dollar signs. Again they are a business and its necessary to profit, although it is expensive. Took them over 4 hours to diagnose and install alternator, which served as an inconvenience to me. Not to mention they also took the unnecessary liberty of uninstalling my aftermarket stereo to diagnose my car, just to find out that the alternator was the problem. Which is where they should have checked in the first place since the alternator is an electrical generator for the electronics in the car. Honestly, they just care about good ratings and Im giving my honest opinion. Ive learned to not go here ever again. 🖕

Had both exhaust manifolds and egr pipe replaced on a 2002 Ford F-150 5.4 triton. Its a crappy job to do, and quite frankly couldnt find anyone else besides a dealer that wanted to touch it. Nobody wanted to deal with extracting a broken stud(s). They worked with me on parts and time frame for completion. Derek the store manager, along with Garrett were very courteous and knowledgeable about the process. The tech did a stellar job and had her done faster than I would have guessed. Appreciate all the hard work fellas. Thanks.

Talked to a Tyler about scheduling an appointment because some people have busy schedules and couldnt give me a time frame saying it was drop off only. Very rude and condescending on the phone.

Just had a new muffler & muffler bracket installed on my Olds Achieva. Only took 30 minutes & the cost was very reasonable. I would have take longer to do it myself so hte labor cost was very reasonable!

Terrible customer service. I should not give you one star. I had a alternator installed @ QC auto service and it failed after a year. Derek also took advantage of my situation and did unnecessary work on my vehicle. I was stranded on I-88 for 3 hours before I was towed to the Moline. I spoke to Derek about the faulty alternator that he sold me and I ask for a refund because alternators should last longer than a year. He said no but he will give me a couple of free oil changes for the inconvenience. Never received that either. Disappointed that this situation wasnt resolved correctly and QC should do a better job in providing good customer service instead of ripping people off by selling faulty parts and doing unnecessary auto repair.
