Terrific staff and amazing coffee and baked items, oh, and the fruit teas are delightful! I love the strawberry tea and the cinnamon rolls are perfect!
Visiting the area for a weekend get away from Chicago and stopped in for morning coffee and breakfast. The staff (Tory) was SUPER friendly and helpful, explaining to us their specialties as well as recommendations for our weekend in the Quad Cities. Coffee was delicious with a slight savory note. We had the scone (Tasted like Fruit Loops!) and the Banana Nut Muffin (Tasted like heaven!). Definitely recommend to anyone!!!
Great spot to meet with friends, chill, or work. Im not a coffee drinker, but their hot and iced teas are delicious and they even have a few lunch options. Staff is always great and the playlists are top-tier. I love to post up by a window and enjoy the river views and people-watching on the bike trail. A great local option, and really reasonably priced, depending on what youre drinking.
Fantastic coffee and beautiful space! I had a hard time choosing a spot to sit because of how inviting the space is. Highly recommend!
Stopped by after biking on the Mississippi. Awesome cappuccino- creamy and really flavorful espresso
The veggie burger was the absolute best Ive ever had. Nice and juicy- unbelievable flavor, and the bread was perfect. I wish I had taken taken picture before I gobbled it down! Very friendly service and gorgeous view of the river!
Wonderful coffee shop near downtown Moline. This is a real coffee shop unlike the other “coffee” results google gave me closer to downtown. These baristas know what they’re doing and the drip coffee is delicious. Extremely friendly staff.
The cinnamon iced latte tasted a little bland & too watered down, but their honey & lavender was real good. Didnt care for their veggie burger & the bread tasted rubbery & a little overcooked from the microwave. However their gluten free chocolate chip cookie was good. I dont think they make their food there I believe it comes from another company or is pre packaged. I can tell. Anyway the place is alright but I feel there are a lot more places around here that are just as good & a lot cheaper. Oh & get there early before 4:30pm since they close at that time.
This coffee shop is definitely worth the trip from wherever you are to it. Yes, I know its a few miles off of the East-West Interstate, but you wont be disappointed when you get here. The atmosphere is trendy and clean with high ceilings. The attention to detail when making the coffee is everything that you would expect and want from a proper coffee shop. There are plenty of seats, and great Windows overlooking the river.I would highly recommend this shop
Walked in for the first time and the wonderful scent of coffee & pleasing. Nice coffee bresta
Great atmosphere, and the decaf coffee was delicious! I have this three stars because the size of the small coffee was about 4oz, and it was expensive! I could understand if I was getting 4oz of cappuccino. 4oz is close to a sample size.Ill write another review when i go back to try their food.
Beautiful space. Great food. Decent iced coffee.
Cajun wrap and coffee were great! Wonderful walkable place off the river trail
Great place, very comfortable.... Great coffee. Very good, friendly service
I accidentally ordered a late (I usually drink black coffee but sometimes still get “order panic” and because it I often end up trying something new!Excellent scones and a great atmosphere. As we’re leaving they were setting up for Vino Van Gough.Love the views of the river and comfortable seating. Also a big fan of the amount of room. The place was filled up but it didn’t feel like we were sitting right on top of one another.
Service and facilities were very nice. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that I feel is grossly over priced. It was 8$. Very small amount of egg and bacon so thin you couldn’t taste it covered with two big soggy pieces of bread. The smooth tastes good but I’m afraid it’s just sugar flavored ice. Not actually blended fruit.
This will genuinely always be my favorite coffee shop of all time. The environment is unmatched. It’s the perfect size, being full of just the right amount of people to people watch (my favorite) but also my own space to type an undesirable history research paper. The menu is also amazing—not too overwhelming and consisting of the right amount of options. Drink wise, the miel is my favorite and popular among many for good reason, the breakfast bowl and chicken salad salad also being unmatched. The playlist and the workers are also amazing. It genuinely is the most wonderful environment—it’s the place I want to go to concentrate to do homework but also my favorite place to socialize with friends. The view also never gets old. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!
This is the best coffee shop in the area BY FAR. Easy to find and a large place with open seating. Standard coffee is excellent, good assortment of the froo-froo drinks, some good sweet breakfast items and they even have beer. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.
Always good music and drinkage!
Just happened on the Milltown yesterday... Thought I found someplace new. Turns out they have been here for 3 years (Where gave I been?).Great atmosphere with views of the Mighty Mississippi. For such a large open space it felt surprisingly cozy and intimate... A little wood and brick goes a long way.Our latte and cappuccino were good...Will be coming back when we have a little more time...They have food! KACHING! =P
Great view of the Mississippi River. Nice open space with a variety of seating. Great coffee and interesting menu options.
Great service. Fun flavors.
Awesome as always! Placed an order for pickup. Was ready on time and exactly what we ordered and as great tasting as always. I love the iced cafe miel.
Maybe some of the best coffee Ive had in the entire Quad Cities
We love both Milltown locations!! The friendly staff, wonderful coffee and cool atmosphere can’t be beat! ❤️❤️
The staff at Milltown have been friendly and efficient every time I have either visited in the restaurant or used the drive through. The breakfast wrap is amazing; it is always hot and full of tasty eggs and meat.
Easily the hottest staff in the QC.
I don’t really understand the big deal about this place. Drinks are fairly expensive and food is very expensive. $8-9 for a breakfast sandwich, $10 for a lunch sandwich. Instead, I settled for a $4 scone that was way too sugary sweet, chewy, and for some reason piping hot in the middle (do they microwave them to serve?) I didn’t finish it.The iced tea is brewed to order and immediately poured over ice, then more ice is added on top. The result is essentially a tasteless caffeinated water. The atmosphere is trendy, but cold and uninviting if you’re looking for a cozy coffeehouse vibe. Very dark inside during the day. The view of the river is nice but I can get that sitting across the street in the park.I suppose it could be a nice place to study or enjoy the view in bad weather, but the prices and quality are so off-putting that to me it’s not worth it.
Great service, great coffee!!! I was very impressed with my experience.
Great place. First time ever there. I will be back.
Great environment and delicious drinks!
I started going to the new Milltown location in Bettendorf on my breaks since its local and close to my work. Im switching jobs soon and Im really upset I wont be able to visit as often anymore. Their seasonal lattes, pumpkin spice and caramel apple, are SO good. The employees are also very friendly, and I love the punch card system.Add more locations!
I love the atmosphere here! Super open and comfy! My kids and I sat on the couches and enjoyed a muffin and Chai tea!
Food is great! Drinks are expensive and tiny. The staff are friendly, attentive. I am not a fan of the space, its huge and open rather than warm and inviting. The view of the river through the wall of Windows is pretty cool though. It is a great place to study.
The miele here is so delicious, and its a great study space because the inside is so aesthetically pleasing. great view of the river too
This Coffee shop was an awesome surprise! We stopped by in to eat and rest from our 12hr road trip and oh boy! What a great experience the salad was delicious and fresh and the pastries warm and tasty! We saved this place and will be from now on our “Must Stop” whenever we have the opportunity to drive by Davenport! This place is worth the detour! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Love this place!!!Staff is friendly and owner is great.
Latte was good. Very busy. Could use more help in Saturdays.🙂👍
This was a quaint, cozy, and a wonderful place to do coffee, brunch, and take a break! It was beautiful and the coffee matched my expectations.
Thats coffee alright.
Did not receive the correct order. Which was disappointing as past orders were always delicious.
Coffee and food was delicious 🤤
Awesome service, fantastic coffee! Their scones are to die for!!!
The Milltown coffee in moline has always been a go to spot to study for me with an amazing menu AND NOW they have a convenient location right off the spruce hills exit in Bettendorf (where the old Lodge used to be) its not on Google maps yet but itll be there before you know it. The sandwiches and wraps are so damn good ❤
The atmosphere of this cafe is great! Good place to study with a view! The drinks were a little more expensive than Im used to, but its a nice establishment!
Coffee shop overlooks Mississippi.I had an iced mocha and oatmeal with sliced strawberries. Delicious.I prefer coffee shops that use a la marzocco espresso machine because of the quality espresso shots it can produce. This is what Milltown uses and even in the mocha I could tell the espresso was good. 😄We were on the go but it has a nice atmosphere to hang out and read or visit with friends.
Just so much love 🧡
First Time Visitor. Atmosphere, Food and Staff are Exceptional, especially Abby. Referrals Coming.
Very nice, recommended
Im not sure what people are tasting thats different than the 2 times Ive visited. Each time their coffee has a metallic taste to it that really puts us off. The atmosphere is great though. It has a very open spacious feel to it and has great views of the river.
Met with a friend that I havent seen in 40 years! Very comfortable, great area to sit at a table or on couch and chairs. Fireplace (not on this time of year), natural sunlight through tinted windows and an amazing menu. Cant wait to go back ❣️
Food was good. Coffee is smooth and not over roasted
Some of the best aesthetics of any coffee shop you will go to. Big open space with lots of different types of seating and views of the Mississippi river. Get the Bananas Foster or Miel latte!
Good coffee and lots of seating. Good view of the river with a great study atmosphere. Easily a good meet up spot for friends or a date too. Only negative was the long table I sat at wasnt level and constant rocked to one end or the other at the slightest touch.
Fantastic setting and really good coffee. Food is not as great and it is rather high priced. Atmosphere is awesome. Very cool tables. Lots of seating options.
Turkey sandwich was delicious. Atmosphere very relaxing. Would be a great place to hang out with friends, study, go on a date, etc
Comfortable little coffee spot. I come with my laptop to hang and catch u p on email without the usual distractions of home or office. Quiet.
Great coffee, covid friendly, many internet stations, healthy food
Their food is average and their coffee is good. Its a good local hang out for doing homework and just sitting back and relaxing from a busy work day.
Cool coffee house vibe... freshly roasted delicious coffee... tasty sandwiches and salads... delicious baked goods.
Cool spot. Had a delicious Americano. Wife really enjoyed her latte with coconut milk. Thanks!
Scone was tasty! Banana foster latte is delightful! Beautiful environment. They have a friendly staff. Overall great place! Highly recommend
Great space that shares a beautiful river view. Comfy seating to relax and enjoy the tasty coffee, teas and pastries....and many other choices...my go to place!!! ENJOY!!!
Great coffee and tea. Perfect relaxing ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff. Overlooks the Mississippi River. Refreshing to see a mix of ages enjoying the coffee shop. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Quad Cities area.
First time ever being at Milltown Coffee, always passed by it. I will definitely be going back more, next time Ill try a hot latte.
Service is cool. Atmosphere is cool. However, my Nespresso makes a better Americano.
I happened upon this place on a bike ride one day. The atmosphere is calming, the coffee is absolutely fantastic, the decor is super nice and modern. They also have super yummy sandwiches. Love it!
I cheated on my Starbucks and I was happy I did.... coffee was amazing, atmosphere was neat and they sell beer and wine??!! Ill be back!!!!
Large glass windows looking at River. Large and spacious shop. Best coffee shop view in QC. Friendly staff and good coffee. Higher priced than other shops but I dont mind for the view. Would like to maybe have more pastry selection but overall I really like the place.
Milltown has a great facility with adequate parking and a great view of the Mississippi. They have plenty of seating for the weekday lunch hour. Great coffee and good food. My favorite was the bacon bananas and peanut however the bananas they use now tend to be stale as of late.
Really nice place, it looks very comfortable. This is the first time I go there and I am surprised. It sits in front of the Mississippi River so the views are great and the decor, furniture and ambiance make you feel like youre at home drinking a perfect cup of coffee or espresso drink. The staff were very nice too.
Coffee was great, as ever. We got breakfast bowls but the potatoes were slightly undercooked. If you get a bowl, plan to share it.
Very cool space -- nice atmosphere. Good coffee. The veggie burger is good (but served on white bread). I just wish they had a few vegan whole-foods plant-based options to choose from.
What can I say. Well first off if you need a good place to get work done this is the place. Great coffee, great customer service and great food definitely would recommend.
I love this place for a usually quiet afternoon with good coffee or tea. I always bring my laptop to enjoy the change of scenery and get a few things done.
Fantastic atmosphere with gorgeous views of the Mississippi River. Lots of seating including some outside tables as well. Had a Bananas Foster Latte which was phenomenal in flavor! Great stop for an afternoon coffee with the wife!
Great place to relax after a nice walk on the great river trail or a workout at the gym next door. Prices are competitive with other coffee houses in the area. Staff is very friendly and the store is well maintained.
Under great new management! Prices are competitive with other local coffee shops. Outdoor seating with a view when the weather is nice. Cozy seating inside, otherwise. Also serves beer.
Really relaxed feel, clean. Impressive tea menu. Go!
Best cafe in the quad cities, hands down. Between the river views and menu you wont get any better. Their veggie burgers are incredible, and their vanilla latte with coconut milk is the best coffee drink Ive ever had.
This place had an almost suffocating hipster atmosphere, but my thoughts about it did a complete turn when I tasted the mango peach smoothie. It was heavenly. I also tried the four berry smoothie, and that was also very good. Definitely worth a visit!
Great place to go for a great view, a coffee and a visit. Excellent food too. Be prepared for high prices. Not enough electrical receptacles for computer users. The internet goes down once in a while.
