Store sign is not seen from main road. I have been going to Orvac for some time but did not know they had one in Monrovia. Staff very helpfull and can order many items that are hard to find. Excellent tool variety.

Its with a heavy heart that I learned on this last trip that they will be closing in late Jan or early Feb of 2019. Ive always found the staff helpful and they know their inventory very well. I will seeing those guys. They are moving the inventory to their Fullerton store.

If you need quality electronic components this is a good place only the good stuff not TVS or stereos but electronic for cable installer and for repair or build your own type. Meters testers registers etc... not consumer stuff this place is for electronics techs

I have always loved the store. Sadly, their closing February 1st. Their big store in Fullerton will remain open.

Love this place, but they are closing Feb 1st.I am bummed and will now have to go to their other store which is not as close.

I didnt know this store... until a friend mentioned it.... wow... these guys have quality usa made products at competitive prices and whatever they dont have they could get for yah.... needless to say i got all i was looking for, and will be camping back as needed...!!

Look at 5 different stores for a fuse someone recommended orvac and they had the fuse I was looking for.

It has a lot of stuff you cant find at other places for really fair prices. The mananger, Jack, is a good guy. A lot of the other staff are kind of awkward...but hey, what would you expect in an electronics store.

When you need something specific, you know where to go. It sure isnt Radio Shack. You arent going to find it at Home Depot. Stop. Just go to Orvac and be done with it.

I missed it when it was in Pasadena but you guys are worth the drive. One of my favorite places for cables, connectors and telco tools.

I have only been here once so take my review with a grain of salt. I came here for a PSU to be used for an RC LIPO battery charger. An older gentleman employee seemed to be offended by my need for a 300+ W PSU that can put out 30+ Amps. He proceeded to talk to me like I didnt know what I was talking about and pulled a 200 dollar PSU out that met my specifications. Another customer overheard his condescending tone and came up to me and said you can get the PSU you need for 20 bucks on amazon. He showed me on the spot from his phone the product I needed. The point is I would have been willing to buy from ORVAC even if I had to spend 50, but being talked to like the request for the product I needed was overkill or didnt even exist altogether turned me away from this shop. Some advice for the management, people dont want to feel like an idiot when they wanna converse about electronics. I knew exactly what I needed and this gentleman made me feel stupid, then tried to sling me something way over my price range. Thanks random stranger who helped me save money!

I went to Orvac in Pasadena to ask about ordering a new battery for my ADT Alarm system as ADT told me they were out of state, back-ordered and I could not get one for at least 2 weeks (no alarm this whole time...) Not a big problem, except I had an attempted break-in the night before because the alarm did not work and the technician re-set on the system apparently didnt work as planned.So, here they are, in the middle of packing to move to Monrovia.The Orvac Rep took my battery, opened a drawer and produced exactly what I needed to get my system back and running. $25 later, I was on the road with my new battery. Sharp, efficient, well mannered and excellent customer service ! Thank You !! Gwyny Pett

They didnt have what I was looking for. Very disappointed. For being an electronic store you would think they would have a wide variety of electronic products.

Orvac electronics has been closed down since last Friday. The Fullerton store is still open.
