Came here for my COVID-19 vaccine. Amanda the pharmacist was incredibly kind and reassuring, as well as knowledgeable. She assuaged each of my fears and even helped me work on a 30-year phobia of needles. One down, one to go, and I sincerely hope shes working the next shift to give me my second. If you havent gotten your vaccine yet, this is absolutely the place to do it.

Horrible customer service by the pharmacist and her assistance who clearly doesnt care. Waited over 2hrs to get a vaccine. She keeps peoples ID and insurances cards and chargers the insurance (the vaccine is free but I guess not here)! Just be aware.

Ive lived with chronic conditions controlled by medication for most of my life, so Ive been to a lot of different pharmacies and met a lot of different people, with experiences that have varied from horrible to fantastic. At this CVS the pharmacist--Maryann--is so kind and graceful. Many times, I have seen Maryann working the pharmacy by herself: filling scripts, working the phones, and checking out customers. Even when she is overworked and understaffed, she has been extraordinarily pleasant and thorough, making sure that my info on file was up to date and asking if I had any questions about my medication (even though she had filled it several times, she made sure I didnt have any new concerns). With staff like Maryann, I cant believe that anyone could give this CVS any less than 5 stars!

Bloomfield Ave CVS MANAGER was very rude, she wouldn’t accept a RAINCHECK even though it says in bold letters THIS RAINCHECK DOES NOT EXPIRE..Maybe her weight problem makes her cranky but don’t take it out on customers!

Excellent pharmacy. I’ve been doing business here for 12 years. The pharmacy provides great support and reminds me of when I need my flu shots and other shots. The personnel are very friendly and helpful, even with rude costumers, and I’ve seen a few.

Even though its one of the smaller CVS stores, most of the staff provide excellent customer service and a friendly smile. The pharmacy alone, should win Best in Essex County for its service. They will go above and beyond their job to help you. I get a lot of good deals by always checking the yellow discount sale tags in the isles. CVS brand of seasonings (pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, etc.) are just as good as the top brands for a very reasonable price. Its a must buy product! The other CVS nearby on Claremont Street is a lot larger, but this CVS has that Montclair community touch.

Store has no selection, its too small and very dingy. Really wish theyd just get replaced with a high end convenience store.

The store is clean, well lite and organized. In addition, I find the staff (cashiers and pharmacy) to be very customer friendly. I wish the store would continue to carry Keri Lotion.

MaryAnne, the Pharmacy here at this location, is just awesome -- she works with you on the goodrx and truly cares about the customers she is helping ... I see her with this service with me and anyone who walks in the door -- I truly appreciate you MaryAnne ... thanks

I cant never get through pharmacy!! Phone hangs for a long time forcing you to hang up!!

Everyone is so friendly at this CVS. Especially Carlyle- excellent customer service and very professional!

Went here yesterday to pick up an ear wax removal kit. My girlfriend offered to help. What a bad idea she was scared to hurt my ear drum. I kept telling her you need to blast it in my ear or else it wont break it up and come out. Luckily she went and took a nap and i was able to clean out my ear wax.

This is an old school CVS that is in desperate need of an update. The prices are irritatingly high compared to other local CVSs (e.g. Claremont Ave) but it has been a savior in a pinch, since its the only drugstore within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, though, and the manager has been quite helpful. So to summarize: the place sucks, but the people are great ;]
