Purchased a car a little over a month ago and it did not come with the remote just a regular key which I know is not right and now I have a flat tire with locked lugs and no lug key to remove it. They say certified and yeah now I feel like theyre certified to lie. 167 point inspection well you need to do 169 point inspection and make sure all necessary accessories are in place 2

BUYER BEWARE.I stopped by Budget on Atlanta Highway today and was flabbergasted. Background:In 2016, I had the worst experience EVER. I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted and I found it. I was told before I picked the car up, it needed a clear coat... when I saw it I was in awe! However I left that evening and noticed a dent underneath the steering wheel, then a piece of random plastic broken from who knows where and finally the seatbelt did not click, no problem they fixed all of these issues. About a week after getting the car, I requested a car fax and was given a false one, whether by accident or on purpose I’ll never know but trying to convince me that it was the same car even though the vin was one letter off, seems like they knew. I finally got the right car fax and learned that it was a rental car. No history of major damage. Then, two years after having my car, the hood starts to oxidize. Long story shorter, the entire hood, bumper, passenger side (only) fender and 4 inches from the top of the passenger door has oxidized. 3 different paint shops have relayed that these are replacement parts on the car and the paint used to repaint it was cheap. I go to Budget Car Sales on Atlanta highway and I’ve been told “this is normal, happens to cars that are a year old” “maybe if it was painted it wasn’t done legitimately” “sorry we can’t do anything for you”. You mean to tell me, Budget Rental Car, didn’t report an accident? Or didn’t report major body work and it’s “normal” that you’re selling it at Budget Car Sales? I came here as a courtesy, but this is unacceptable.

Very good buying and trade-in experience. We had John M as our salesman who, along with his manager, located a great truck for us. They are not pushy, they’re very professional and friendly. We were pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Budget was great! They managed to get me into a car, when my credit is not the greatest. They made the process very easy and I appreciate all the work they did for me.

I wish that I could say that it was a good experience, but they sold a car with a lot of electrical problems to my son knowing that it had the problems, and then told us to bring it back and that they would make it right, so we take it back and they want us to pay 2300 of the pay off and then give them another down payment to get another car, but when he first went there the only one they would sale him was the little ford focus even though they had other cars for the same price range, the one that had been in 2 accidents and had electrical problems and was flashing codes on the dash, so they new it had problems, and they new he was a first time buyer and that he didnt know any better, because he was told the codes would go away, now a lot of people have had good experiences with them, but they will screw you in a sec if you give them a chance, so with that being said, there going to wish that they would have done the write thing in the first place or made it write when they told us to bring back.

They sold me a lemon. Ive had the car for 10 months and driven 5000 miles. I ve already had to replace the alternator, fuel pump, coolant hoses and a tire (which was sold to me with a plug in it). This is on top of them replacing the timing belt about two weeks after I bought it. Would look elsewhere in the future

My wife arrived at the dealership before I did and she was treated with the utmost respect. The sales staff was very helpful and courteous in answering all of her questions. They carefully reviewed vehicles with her and went over all vehicle options with her. The purchase process was incredibly easy and the staff went out of there way to make sure we got the best deal possible on her new car. We will definitely we using Budget again for future purchases and also referring as many friends and family to them as possible.

Competitive car prices and willing to satisfy our budget range. This was the easiest and smoothest car buying experience. We test drove a car we wanted but was not satisfied with the color. They showed excellent customer service by having the color car we wanted brought in from over 60 miles away (same day). Never felt pressured into packages or sales we did not want. Overall great experience from the time we entered the door. Would definitely purchase from them again!

I bought from budget Taylor was sales person i was told when I bought the truck the air injection pumps had been replaced, the manager at the dealership and the mechanic at auto save told me same thing come to find out they replaced one injection switching valve and thats all truck has lost power in heavy traffic twice i finally was able to get it back to auto save today so waiting to see what happens next i hope they do the right thing and replace both pumps and valves like they said they done in the beginningUnhappy camper Edward Wilkerson

Great experience with my purchase at Budget in Montgomery. We found the car online, called and set an appointment with the internet manager, Walter. When we arrived the car was pulled up to the front with a VIP tag on the mirror. That was impressive to us, they took the initiative to prepare for us. We took a test drive and our salesperson was very professional and knowledgeable about the car. We got back to the dealership and Missy prepared our quote, which was exactly what we had been told online. Randy, the finance manager was very professional and had us in and out quickly. This car dealership was very laid back but extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. It took all I had within me not to tell the lady with the long ponytail a piece of my mind. She was the most UNPROFESSIONAL manager I have ever cross paths with. That woman had the nerve to say, Let me know how that work out for you once we decided to leave & go elsewhere. Well it worked out great because within a couple of hours we were riding in our nice, new truck. That actually ride & look better than the one we thought we had to get from Budget of Montgomery. Now oan Marcus was polite & helped with what he could. CB & Kevin was honest.We should have walked away when she tried to convince us to give their financial institutions a chance when we already told her that we were approved through our credit union, Guardian. We left & went to Guardian after she said we was only approved for a certain amt, but we knew that wasnt right. Come to find out they didnt contact Guardian they contacted 1 of their financial institution that they use. The lady @ Guardian said we do not do business with Budget, you can go to any car lot other than Budget. I will never attempt to shop there again. THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

If I am purchasing a car, I would like to speak to the same salesperson throughout the process. That is completely impossible at Budget. If you go on vacation for a week and try to call that salesperson back when you return, they no longer work here is the message you will receive. This business is obviously inconsistent and unstable. Therefore, I will be taking my business elsewhere after going through this on two separate occasions within a four weekperiod.

I wouldn’t buy a car from here if they were the last car dealership on earth. They lie to the customers and employees. Some banks do not require down payments but they still ask for them. They have the highest pack in the state of Alabama $3,750. You can go anywhere else and get a better car for lower money. Budget is a rip off, don’t go to Budget.

We could only look for a car after work, and these Budget people were so nice about it. We hemmed and hawed about which car, and they were very patient. Jenn, bless her soul, took the best care of us even though she was not feeling well. When we FINALLY made up our minds, the team -Walter, KB, and Casey- stayed until almost 10 p.m. to finalize everything so we wouldnt have to make another trip. They didnt have to...it was Jenns sale, but we never knew we werent the most important customers in the world. I cant tell you how much that meant to two tired old folks! We settled on a car we liked somewhere else, but we went back to Budget because we liked these people so much. Give them a visit!

I never do reviews on a business but I must alert anyone who may consider doing business with these people. I bought a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu from here and it didn’t last an entire year!! I had the same repetitive issues that they claimed were resolved but they continued coming. I ended up having to dump thousands into the car up until I recently got rid of it. These people are money hungry and will sell you a junk car without batting an eye. From the GM down to the salesmen you guys should be ashamed of the business that you do...

Im only giving one star because I have to. I dont know what everyone else is talking about but this is the worst place to buy a vehicle. Not only will you end up overpaying but youll be lucky to get a car that isnt going to break down right away. And dont fall for their piece of crap warranty, it wont cover anything. I ended up with a fiat and I went to go somewhere the morning after buying it, it wouldnt even start! I had to get a new battery right after getting it. Then there was an issue with the steering column, after a couple of weeks I found out that my $2200 warranty wouldnt cover it. So much for the 70 point inspection. Im not the only person who ended up with a broken car, so its not just me. I went to Brewbaker and got the treatment and vehicle I needed. They got me out of the fiat and into a car that actually runs. Also they will screw you at every turn, including the financing. So if you still want to waste your time and money at budget, dont do it because you dont think you can get financing for a better car. Because you can and youll get 100% better service and vehicle value at Brewbaker.

We were in dire need to replace my husbands old truck. After surfing the net looking for the best deal. (I am a frugal shopper!) I located several identical trucks (i.e. mileage, color, model, etc.) near me and decided to try Budget first. (husband working too many hours to be able to do the leg work). From the sales people Mr. Blake Howard and Ms. Michone Main to the Finance Mgr., Mr. Marty Hamlet and Mr. Clark Adams Sales mgr. (Yes, I wanted to name them!) We were given amazing service. They all worked as a team to get me the best finance rate and overall deal! We even got a fair amount of trade for his old truck! Love them! Love the new truck! I am a business owner in Millbrook and will definitely recommend them to everyone as a number 1 place to shop. Honesty and integrity are alive and well in Montgomery, Alabama!

Overall the experience ended on a positive note. However, what it took to get to that point is why they are receiving 2 stars from me. The sale itself was awesome! Shoutout to Justin! He’s great and I would recommend him if you have to get a car from Budget. The manager, Bryan, is a piece of work. I was sold a 2014 Ford Focus, Carfax certified as well as 3,000 mile Budget warranty, well the day after my purchase I started having issues. I pumped gas (with the car off) and went to crank it back up to only have it stall out. Eventually it cranked back up and then hours later the check engine light came on. Monday I go back in to have the issue addressed and was told they would fix it even though they sell as is. Know why??? Because he openly admitted to me that the check engine light came on for them and that he had it looked at but they found nothing wrong. Well. Still think nothings wrong? So they switched the check engine light off and never mentioned it to me in the sales process. He proceeds to send the car back to the very same people that “couldn’t find anything wrong.” Well, low and behold, they still didn’t have tech to figure out the problem. Now we are going to the Ford place to have it repaired. (I haven’t had problems since. Yay ford!!!) Got my car! Now let’s get it registered! So I payed for my car with a personal check which I am told after a week or two that it has to be held for 10 days. I have to have my registration in Alabama within 20 days. I was like how am I supposed to have my registration in time? All she kept repeating was “it’s policy, ma’am.” She would not offer advice until I point blank said “there is nothing I can get today in order to get temporary registration?” She then goes to say “yeah, if you can prove the check cleared.” In my head I’m like great! I can do that! Well I drove 45 minutes to get the documents and then 45 minutes back to the courthouse only to be told the Dealership Affedavit had been left out. I’m about to just cry at this point. Thankfully it could be faxed over.. after about waiting 45 minutes for them to fax it over I got my registration!! That’s my stressful situation in a nutshell with this place. I love my car so far. Hopefully it lasts more than a year. There are so many more details than this but I would be writing a novel. Just do not deal with Bryan. Fair warning!

Everything they showed us had body damage, bald tires or misaligned steering. they wont fix it just tell you oh it needs tires? well ill mark $300 off the price so you can buy some it needs an alignment how about $100 off How about you fix your POS cars before you try to sell them to people. and up to $5k over trade in value is a joke i had 3 other dealers offer me double what they did for trade in. stay away from here unless you want to buy a repair bill.

The car buying experience with Budget was overall very favorable and an experience that I am pleased with. The only negative comment I have is that in the buying process I was told that my extra key would be sent to me once the paperwork was completed by the parent office. I have since buying this car tri d multiple times to contact my salesperson and have had no luck in figuring out where my other key is, or if it will be sent to me. I have left multiple messages with the Prattville office and have received no return calls. Aside from this, I would highly recommend buying a car from the Prattville Budget Office.

Bait and switch tactics. Went to check out a truck advertised online turned out to be a rust bucket from Canada. It honestly shouldnt have even been for sale it was dangerous due to how advanced the rust was.Truck didnt even have a/c option. No a/c in south alabama? Not a word was mentioned about any of that in advertisement or over the phone as i talked to them multiple times before making the drive. They talked me into another truck as i traveled hours to look at the other one. Ended up buying the truck with mismatched bad tires. Figured the truck would drive better with a new set. What a mistake that was truck has a terrible vibration issue that almost shakes me to sleep during long drives. Dealer cant fix the issue nobody wants to take it on trade because of this issue . On top of all that they sold me an extended warranty that i have been trying to cancel for 6 weeks or more and its been nothing but excuses this place not only took advantage of me but sold me a terrible vehicle on top of that and to this day have still not cancelled or refunded balance of extended warranty do yourself a favor by a vehicle anywhere but this place $100 bucks says all the good reviews are friends and family of employees...

I would not recommend Budget. They are a gimmick and would do anything to get as much money out of you as possible. They give you their word on one thing and continues to change their minds. They make a lot of verbal agreements but will not uphold to any of them.
