If you are looking for a place to install dash camera wires they can do the job. I do not see the wires at all. They were professional, very nice and scheduled me right away. I would suggest you hook it up to the fuse, battery and ground yourself though. I am guessing there are so many different styles out there it would be impossible to know them all. I had them hook mine up but the camera stayed on all the time making the motion detection parking feature inoperable. It was just loop recording 24 hrs a day. I returned but they said it was correct and would shut off after a few minutes, but when I checked, it ran all night. That is hard on the memory card and hard to find when something happens because there are a million videos to look through . I drove it back home and called my daughter in Vegas. She walked me through how to find a good fuse to use. Now it works as expected and turns on and off with the car but also I can use the motion detection feature when it is parked. All the features I purchased the camera for now work.

Really cool and patient staff. Have my baby (charger) getting worked on right now and they are doing a wonderful job. I can tell the owner really doesn’t bs because I asked for an estimate time of completion and he said “we don’t like to put time limits on things”. That was my first green flag! To start with you should know that I am very picky and can be hard to please. That being said I could not be more pleased and absolutely satisfied with my experience with Nick and the rest of the crew at CKR. Before the sale was excellent. Nick worked with me over a few days to get my stereo and components picked out to fit my exact needs. Install was nice, clean, professional, fast, sounds, and performs beyond expectation. After the sale has still continued to be a great experience. Honestly I cannot say enough about these guys. I believe they went above and beyond and should be recognized for it!

On the expensive side and what i dont like is that they want you to pay a fifty dollar deposit to make a appointment. If you dont mind driving good to Best Buy on line and find a store that does installation like Dothan and Hover store you will save you a lot of money and the Geek Squad does great. Unfortunately they dont do installation in the Montgomery store.

1 . Get your quotes in writing ! 2 Make sure you can reach Allen the owner . 3. Make sure you show up in time to inspect any work you had done before u leave . Expect to go back several times with either your gear failing from being sold something not suited for your ride . Installation is borderline dangerous . Wires everywhere. Sounds good but looks like it was thrown in 20 min . My truck was there from open to close . I was really hoping things would improve since the first and second go round . Lesson learned .

I went in to help install a backup camera that I had failed to get operational myself. While the work they did was great, they could have been nicer and cheaper. Cost was $75 labor for installing one part.

CKR is the best car-audio shop I have ever dealt with. I have been coming to Nick and Andy since 2002, and here I am 5 vehicles later and couldnt be happier. They cleaned up a bad wiring job, upgraded my door speakers, hardwired my dash-cam and radar detector, and added some subs. You tell Nick what sound you are looking for, and he will make it happen (and then some). I have a very critical/picky ear when it comes to audio, and I am very impressed with my current setup. You can rest assured CKR will deliver every time, I cant say enough good things about this place.

My experience here was beyond excellent. I was assisted my Nick and he was very helpful. They didn’t have the part I was looking for but Nick told where to find it and not only that he wrote down the name of the part and part number. Spent a just under $200 getting an audio system rewired after removing a massive aftermarket subwoofer/amp set up that occupied the entire trunk of the vehicle (bought it used). After leaving the shop, I noticed there was a dead speaker on the door that would sometimes produce sound, but then quickly lose it again...figured it may have been a wire issue. Called up CKR to get THEM to look at THEIR work, I was told appointments weren’t available for weeks. I went down the road to Jimmy’s Car Stereo, a technician was hands-on with my car within 15 minutes of arrival, and he was grinning ear-to-ear 15 minutes later telling me all he needed to do was crimp a wire.TL;DR CKR didn’t want to prioritize fixing their work, found an alternative route, would recommend the same.

Great Experience. I came in after a failed attempt to install speakers myself. I bought 4 new speakers and installation at a great price. It was done in just a couple of hours. They found an issue with my stereo (which I was able to put in). It turns out a part in the stereo was bad. Nick had another like it and replaced the part for free! Again, great experience.

Had my 4Runner tinted here and had a overall good experience. 35% in the front and 20% in the back the tint looks really good and Im satisfied with it and the price which came to a total of 181$ Other people in Montgomery started off at 200$ . Would give these guys 5 stars but when I called in to check on my vehicle they wouldnt give me any information, called a second time and spoke to someone intelligent enough to actually check on it. All in all they did an outstanding job.

Just cant say enough GOOD about Nick and his crew at CKR. I took my car to them after a botched install from another company in Pensacola, FL. They had to do a total re-wire to get things in order like they should be. I spent a lot of money with the other company and got crappy sound and was there for almost 12 hours. Nick had me on the road after only 6 hours of fixing the mess. Nick runs a tight ship and makes sure everything is done right. When speakers started to go out in my 03 4Runner, I knew it was time for an upgrade. I went to Jimmys but they acted like I was bothering them with the questions I had, so decided to check out CKR. My experience there couldnt have been better. The salesperson that helped me was Colin. Hes a really nice guy and took time to walk me around the store and explain what different options I had and to point out the products he recommended. I even saw him the day after I went in while we both happened to be paddling the Coosa in Wetumpka. He was with his fiancee, and theyre a very nice young couple. The manager, Nick, has been in car audio for 30 years, and he was available for Colin to bounce ideas off of so we could really pinpoint what equipment would give me the sound I was looking for at the price point I was looking for. I didnt get my installers name, but he did a great job, too. He was even kind enough to come out to my car and show me how to dial my sound back in after I accidentally reset my head unit to the factory settings.The only negative part of my experience was another salesman (Connor or Conrad or something like that) angrily punching away on an adding machine right in front of me and then insinuating that Colin should be charging me more. Id watch out for that guy, if I were you. He seems to put short term profits and his own commissions ahead of the customers needs and the stores opportunities to earn repeat business.TL;DR - Great sound, great price. Salesman Colin and Manager Nick are awesome, as is the installer whose name I didnt get. The other salesman (Connor?, Conrad?, C-something?) wants to overcharge you for his own good, so be wary of his pricing.

I went to them after I was having problems with my speaker being too bright. I didn’t know anything about speaker position or quality so I made a mistake when I purchased my first speakers. They explained what the problem was and gave me options on how to fix it. Unfortunately the only fix was to replace them with better quality speakers. They did it in under 2 hours and the sound was so much better I regretted not coming to them in the first place. This should be the first place you go to before purchasing a new system, they will give you the info you need, give you option based on your budget, and they will make sure that you are happy with the system.Thank youCarlos T

I needed a Cadillac cue touchscreen replaced on a 2014 cts, because mine was cracked which was causing issues with the radio and bluetooth functionality. I stopped into ckr to see if they would be able to do the job for me. Off the bat Nick greeted me and explained what my options were to get it replaced. I had a screen I ordered online which was way cheaper than buying the entire cue system(like the dealer requires). He scheduled an appoint and got me taken care of, with top of the line tech work! My touchscreen radio is working flawlessly now. The car interior is still in tact after the surgery, with no scars. Thanks alot you guys saved me a ton of money!! Highly recommended!!

Great experience Renardo pageant was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable I just described the type of bass that I wanted and that I still wanted to have room in my Kia Soul for a cooler and bags and about what my budget was. And he hooked me up got great clean sounding Bass they can tickle your ears a little bit, more space than I expected, and even window tint for the same budget

I purchased a 2008 Suburban on a Thursday the next day I went into CKR in Montgomery and spoke with a very good and knowledgeable sales rep. He steered me to a system that would meet my expectations and set up install on Monday.I left the Suburban with them, Andy the installer had it ready and showed me how all the features worked. Driving around the next day I noticed that the local radio stations faded out . I took it back and explained the problem to the owner who listen to my concerns and assured me that they would get to the bottom of the problem. We made an appointment for me to bring it back so they told address the issue.They worked on the problem,found that the power antenna had been disconnected fixed that and when I came back to get the car the system worked far better than I ever expected! I am very happy with my purchase and even happier with the positive and pleasant way they all handled the situation. I should have listened to the online reviews, because the customer service is extremely poor. I had someone tell me to sit and someone would be right with me to assist me, 20minutes later I had to ask for assistance. Then after getting my sub ( which I bought online ) installed with a touch screen radio (400), box (65), and amp (200) the total came out to be about 1560. then was told my speaker was cheap (179$ 12 JL audio which busted in less than a week due to the cheap Velcro strap they used to secure the box) then offered an even cheaper speaker after insinuating that I was poor do you want me to ring you up something cheap? Or what? A completely bad experience.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! My subs went out, had them to look at it and they said my amp was gone. So paid them $250 to replace it. Austin advised the amp, which I now know is considerably weaker than than the amp that I had from crutchfeild for less. Josh did the work. 1 day later my radio started going out. I took it back to them and it took FOREVER to get them to look at it. I went Saturday,the next Saturday and the Thursday and Renaldo kept saying Monday at 9am. I had my wife drop it off at 9 am to Renaldo and I did a 10 hour shift at work and came to pick it up at 5.... and it was right where my wife left it!! He pulled it back at that time and a guy named Josh said it was the head unit now. Which was working fine before they touched it. So now, here I am 5 visits deep and $250 short and now I have NO MUSIC.... at least I had my six speakers before. If I could give a no star I would. And this is a 100% honest review, all I wanted was my music to work.
