Place is always nice. Rob is always fair with his prices and offers excellent customer service. Cool little place to hang out and pick up your latest comic or graphic novel.

Great selection and backlog. Not just Marvel and DC, but the independent publishers as well. They keep a healthy amount of all-time great graphic novels. Owner is quick and helpful getting custom orders in.

Great store with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Took my daughter on free comic book day and they pointed out the books set aside for that but took the time to show her other comics and graphic novels that she was interested in. Out of the 100s of thousands of offerings they were sold out of her choice but took her information and said they would call her when they restocked. The owner was at a large comic con but he answered the phone everytime the manager called asking about books. We will definitely be back.

This is my 2nd time at this store and I must say its amazing!! Vast collection of back issues, more variant covers than Ive ever seen in one place, and a large number of statues and action figures. Owner was knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. I will definitely be returning the next time Im passing through Montgomery!

This is the best comic store in the Montgomery Area, maybe the best in the state. When you walk in you are greeted by the owner, super nice guy and is always so helpful. He knows where everything is in the store and always has a good idea of what he has and what he doesnt. He keeps the place very organized and I have never had problems finding whatever it is I am looking for (which is sometimes the most random things). He also offers discounts for students and military, which I happen to be both of. A great place, great atmosphere, and there is a lot of passion towards his work. If you are looking to get into comics in the state of Alabama, coming from a long time collector, this is the place to go.

Rob offers a great selection and has always ordered the books I requested. He is always stocking up on back issues and collections too.

Nice guy, seems like he genuinely cares about comics and ensures that you can find what you need. Was super helpful and talkative despite being busy. I have shopped at Capital City Comics for the better part of my life. Been through three locations and have been to many other shops in town and out of town but CCC is by far the best one I have ever visited. Rob knows his stuff and is extremely fair in his pricing. He will order items for you if he does not have them and goes out of his way to make your experience in his store a good one. Anyone who has a problem finding what they want in his store just does not know how to look or ask.

First visit ever and walked around store 3 times and realized there was a life size silver surfer! Loved the store and the guy working was very informative. Will be taking my kids back again soon!

Simply put you won’t find a better place to get your comics and comic related stuff. I could spend hours in there looking through his back stock. Rob is very knowledgeable about comics and the comic book industry. I have a pull box there and Rob makes sure my wife and I don’t miss a title. Lots of variety to choose from not just DC and Marvel. Tons of indie comics as well. The atmosphere is great. If you want comics new and old this is your place.

Great store and great selection. Rob (owner) is extremely nice and helpful. His shelves are neat and organized each week and new content and trades are displayed nicely. Great comic experience for both new, graded and older comics. He also has merchandise besides comics like figures, posters, shirts and other memorabilia. Tons of graded and signed comic as well. I was a new reader when I met him and he has helped me out greatly. Just ask questions and he will do his best to help you with what to read.

I love this shop. Everything is well labeled and organized; therefore, it is very easy to walk in and find what you are looking for. Also, Rob is extremely knowledgeable about most things and series in the comics world. My wife and I can only get in to visit the store a couple of times a year, but Rob always remembers us, and he goes out of his way to look for things that we asked about in the past.

I actually Google karaoke places and this place popped up. I would say it a karaoke bar. This place if for people who loves video game. This would be the perfect my for my son. It is free to get in and they do have a bar. Its kinda of small in the inside. But if you love gaming this is definitely the place for you.

After trying both comic shops in the Montgomery area, Capitol City Comics is the absolute best in knowledge of the field and offers the fairest prices by far.

Went to Capitol City Comics for my 1st time today, on my way back from the beach. Met Rob and he was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very impressed by him and the store. I plan on making more trips to Montgomery just to visit the store and get my fix of comics.

The collection is decent enough but the shop is incredibly disorganized and almost feels like a safety hazard to walk around in. Would not recommend until the store cleans itself up.

The store has a great selection however the Multiple bad experiences with one or two good ones sprinkled in, owner has a very off putting attitude and always seems disinterested. I find the store across the street to have much better customer service. Perhaps if the owner was more engaging I would be inclined to shop there more.

Drove up from Mobile got here at 545 PM sign says open but doors are locked . Website posts open and closes at 6 PM clearly it is not 6 PM yet. Called number on website and no one answered and voicemail hasnt even been set up yet! Not a way to do business folks!

The only River Region comic book shop we will go to. The owner is friendly and helpful. There is always a great selection and if you dont see what youre looking for, the owner is always happy to order it.

Lots of comics. The owner is a smart azz so I dont go in here much. But its hands down the best selection for 100 miles. The books arent junk books either. Most of them are mint or near mint. And this shop also has toys. Not junk toys from toys r us and Walmart clearance, but collectible toys. Its actually the only real comic book store in the area.

Overpriced and not very customer friendly. Came in to buy some things with my son and we both felt like we were being scoped out. My son is 15, not 5. We left immediately and will not return.
