I found QC online, I had been collecting some Aquaman comics since I bought them at Comic-Con around 2012. Then I figured after the Aquaman movie release, some might be worth value. I contacted QC and they told me that my most rare comic (Aquaman #35) that I bought, was actually a touched-up fraud and worth nothing. I was burned 375$ from a comic I purchased at a place where you would think buying comics would be safe (Comic-Con), so even there you can get ripped off.QC taught me how to identify future fraudulent comics and to watch for shady dealers. This place is awesome and I am only be buying my future comics from them. I hope you make the same decision and do not put your money down the drain.

Ive been reading comics since I was around 10 and Ive absolutely loved the range of Marvel Comics. Ive been a serious collector since my middle teens and have had large runs of many of the Marvel titles, including 2 complete, and then up-to-date, sets of Avengers, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four. I lost my wife of almost 25 years ago in December of 2020 and had to make the tough decision to part with some of my collection. I found several places but none were interested in buying what I had, with the exception of Lee at Quality Comics. It was a 5-hour drive from my home to Montgomery, AL but it was well worth it. I feel Lee gave me the best deal he could and when the time comes to sell the rest of my collection Ill be sure to get in touch with Lee once again. He did a great job with what Id taken to him and I had a COMPLETE set of ALL THE ULTIMATE titles, including a bunch of variant covers, and Im quite satisfied with the final results. I would highly recommend this establishment for future, as well as current, business. The store I visited is nice and clean and the arrangements of his comics is outstanding. I filled out a contact form on their website in hopes of getting some information on selling my collection and was contacted within a couple days by Lee. We spent about an hour on the phone talking through my collection and about comics in general. Lee was very open about condition, pricing, and the process of selling. One thing to keep in mind is businesses are not in business to lose money or break-even so be realistic in your expectations. While I did not end up selling my collection, mostly because I was not emotionally ready to do so, Lee and I have kept in touch and he has given me a lot of advice on Market Conditions. I just sold my small collection of Silver Age comics to Quality Comix. I had pursued selling this collection a few years ago to companies in New York and Denver, but the results were not satisfactory. It was a pleasure to deal with Lee at Quality Comix, who was personable and immediately responsive by text or phone call. Quality Comix paid for and insured my shipment, evaluating the collection in a couple of days. Lee kept me informed of its status. After performing my due diligence with the Overstreet price guide and the comics sold on eBay similar to mine, the price negotiations were low key with helpful discussions about grading, value, and demand. Even though one always believes that their collectibles are worth a fortune, based on my previous experiences, I am pleased with the results and would recommend Quality Comix to others interested in selling their collections.

Offered me a fair price which I declined but they then gave me information for selling on another website which resulted in more money for me. This was not in their best interest so I have to believe they are very stand up type of guys.

I began collecting comic books when i was eight years old in 1974. Over the years, my collection and the growing of it, remained one of the biggest parts of my life. When I finally realized that the large collection I had amassed over the years would only ever see the dark interior of my closet for as long as I kept it, I decided that there might be a better home out there for it. I reached out to four people/companies. One, I never heard back from. One is one of the largest comic dealers in the world and they told me that my collection didnt fit their needs at the time. One guy tried to low-ball me sight unseen (I wont mention names but it rhymes with Mash-lee). But the one who reached out almost immediately, on a Saturday no less, was Lee Daniels from Quality Comics in Montgomery, Alabama. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, we clicked. Lee is just a comic book fan, man. And he is an honest dealer. I wont talk actual amounts but I will just say, if you want to sell a collection, dont call anyone else. No one will come close to the level of professional service and understanding that this company provides. Lee understands the difficulty of parting with a treasured collection, the torn feeling of doing what you know you should yet held back by the associations that stretch way back to childhood. He understands because hes been there too. He wont pawnshop you. He offered me way more than I would have expected to get and the payment was prompt. Quality Comix has given me some of the best customer service I’ve gotten anywhere. When I first decided to sell my collection Lee was very communicative and informative. I sold them a part of my collection and Lee kept me informed throughout the entire process, letting me know what to expect in terms of pricing and grade of my comics during the grading process. Ive been collecting comics since I was 7yrs old, and as much as I hated to part with them and buy this I mean roughly 6000(15 long boxes and 1 short). They been with me for a very long time. I wanted to pass them on to my children, but they had know interest. Ive checked with a few other companies that wanted to pick through my collection and break up long run sets just for the good ones( Hulk 180,81,82). Then I spoke with QUALITY COMIX SENT them my list with in a couple weeks they gave me a starting price just off my pictures of books they wanted to view.They arranged for the pick-up and keep me informed every step of the way.
