The Gunter commissary and staff are family. I thoroughly enjoy shopping there. The faces are friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

Nice place to go to instead if going to Maxwell. Go early if your looking for chicken cause theynrun out fast.

Great meat prices. Best value in town if u have base privileges.

Never over crowded. Always a great experience. Would have 5 stars but sometimes they are out of stuff. Cant comain though. It is the smaller store compared to Maxwell AFB.

The shelves were not completely full, but I didnt expect them to be, the first work day after Christmas. Most of the produce was very fresh.

Not a wide variety. For example, I buy 6pks bottles of sprite zero @ another store & this place doesnt carry them @ all. There are a number of items I purchase on a regular basis that they dont carry. Very disappointing.

Acceptable. Very small, not a great selection of products. Definitely watch the expiration dates on things. Clean though, and they occasionally have some decent sales. Maxwell is probably better if you want more options.

As usual, many shelves were not stocked. Wish they would update stock to keep up with the times.

Go to Maxwell. Not fully stocked and you can never find an employee for assistance.

The staff are the most helpful group of any Commissary. The meat selections are the best ever! Special orders from the meat department are filled just as ordered. The Deli selections are some of the best in town. Keep up the great work!!!

Very nice commissary overall. The store was well stocked and easily navigable. All of the staff that I encountered were fantastic and very friendly. Having been to many commissaries over the years I believe this one is definitely in the top three that I have seen. Very impressive for such a small base.

Not crowded . All items that I was shopping for was readily available with the exception of one, Blue Bonnet margarine. The last couple of times I shopped there, that same item was sold out on the floor. No one was replenishing the Dairy section ( either time).Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

I like the small town feel of this commissary but I do notice that they dont always have what you need on the shelf. The staff however diligent cant always keep up with the amount of freight that is received and so it gets older in the back or it isnt on the shelf when I come in. Overall though good place to shop 👍

They have a clean store, great bargains and I know where everything is.

Its fine but really about the same as any normal grocery store. I wouldnt go here if I didnt live here.

The shelves are still pretty thin but I understand the issue with getting shipments,etc. I still like shopping here because its feels like shopping at your family store.

Great commissary, but better to go during the week when the shelves are stocked and its not too busy. Also the back gate to Dalraida is open during the week, making it a quick shopping trip. A lot of people think Maxwell is better but this commissary has pretty much everything I need. I think there may be two items they dont have here that Maxwell has, but its nice to shop closer to home. For the most part the staff is friendly. The self checkout lady is sometimes a little zealous about checking IDs (she checked mine twice in two minutes).

I love shopping at Gunter AF Base Commissary. I love the fresh fruits and vegetables. The crowd is usually smaller so shopping is easy,

Its a grocery store for the military and their Families at a cheaper cost.

They did not have a huge selection of brands, but they did have everything that I needed. Reasonable prices and more friendly cashier today than Ive seen the last few times when they barely spoke. The only real noticeable thing today is that the front end manager acted like it would pain her to greet a customer.

Happy to see they have a commissary for the small base. Good selection for the size of the building.

Overall, I love the Gunter Commissary. Store is clean. Staff is generally friendly. Good selection for being a smaller store. The biggest problem is that they sometimes run out of several things at once.

A star off because this is a small commissary, so they dont have a full selection and also because I once purchased yoghurt that was already expired. Otherwise, its very clean, fresh produce, etc. The self-checkouts are always working, carts are always available, etc. They also have a deli that makes fresh to-order sandwiches that are very good. We still visit the Montgomery Commissary because of the slightly less selection at Gunter, but its still a good facility.

The fresh vegetables were horrible today and overpriced.

I have always loved going to this commissary. People are friendly, prices are great and its convenient to my location.

Centrally located to the highway. Small but youre able to find things quicker than the larger commissaries. Food looks fresh and the prepared deil wraps are delicious as well as the devil egg potatoe salad.

I Always Have A Pleasant Visit At The Commissary, Love Being Able To Find What I Need And If By Chance I Cant, I Can Always Count On The Helpful Staff To Assist In Doing So.

This is a smaller commissary. Their selection suffers because of it. The meat and produce sections are pretty good, and have good prices, but all the stuff in the middle of the store is smaller variety than you get out in town.

Clean wide aisles just a quick stop for some items we had forgotten.
