I walked into capital city Ace Hardware store looking for a bathroom fan motor after leaving Lowes no help, home depot no service I ran across a young man name Will he had the knowledge, understanding, patience & kindness Go see Will at Ace Hardware he is a game changer

I was going to give it 4 stars but really I dont have a single complaint so to be fair they get 5 stars and here is why:Their online ordering is easy, they stock more than you think they could in that small of a building, their staff has always been pleasant and hard working in the 30+times I have been there, their store is super clean and organized. All of that is the opposite feel of how you get treated in Lowes or Home Depot where you are lucky to get help at all.The only real downside is they are slightly higher on most everything than big box stores but thats expected. I tend to just swing in and get the few items I need or emergency items and dont care about the cost difference.

This is a decent hardware store and has quality merchandise.The folks are friendly and knowledgeable. It is clean and organized. Not difficult to find what you need including single fasteners and other hardware parts.

I will be honest its the nicest Ace Hardware I have been to. The staff was nice and very helpful. Definitely a pleasant surprise for me.

The employees are exceptional. It is amazing how the store can be as small as it is and have the amount of stock that they do. I prefer it over The Home Depot and Lowes.

I shop here at least 3 times a week and love the service and convenience. Best and cheapest place to refill your propane tanks.

More convenient than going to Lowes or home depot . May cost a bit more but you can get help walking in the door

Bought an Oklahoma Joe’s smoker online and Capital City Ace Hardware assembled and delivered it. May have had an issue during transport due to bumpy roads but Heather actually came to my house and addressed it. Now I’m ready to season it and roll some smoke. Never received that level of personal service at the big box stores. Can’t recommend them enough, only place I’ll go for my hardware needs from now on.

The store was nice and clean. The isles were clutter-free and well stock. The employees were so nice, friendly, and helpful.

As many times as I have shopped this store, have I been able to get all I wanted when there. They can order but takes several days and weeks plus.

I am just reiterating what a lot of people below. Service is fantastic, if not one of the best in terms of a hardware store. Matt (assistant manager?) worked with me on an unknown weird cancelled order during Black Friday; it was a super sale, and I was totally bummed about my order being cancelled. He went up and beyond to try to convince his higher up to get me my item, and he did! Im super appreciative of that man: super nice and professional. This for you, mah boi! :D The employees in general seemed chill and nice as well.ALSO: this store requires customers to wear a mask and practice social distance guidelines. Thank you for not being stupid

The service Here is outstanding.I went in on Saturday 7/11 and needed some bolts for a tractor.A young man up front went back and helped me find the specific size and grade of bolts I needed and even got the pricing all written down to take up front.His enthusiasm and willingness to help really shined I can’t say enough about the service he offered.Smaller hardware stores beat big box every day.

Came in to do a simple return without my receipt knowing Ace can bring up my info by My Ace or Debit Card took Omar 15mins To Return Item clearly he have no clue what hes doing... Dont come here unless you have extra time to spare .

While hubby was shopping for screen door stuff, I found delicious pecans, great greeting cards, ice cream, and warm socks!

I was surprised by their friendly staffs they helped me a lot. Atleast three staffs approached me and asked whether you need any help with shopping.

This is a wonderful establishment. While I did not find what I was looking for, the associate that helped the last time I came to the store, katimothy, was very helpful.

Was just in the store looking for a set of mending braces (but didnt know what they are called). Jarrett saw us between the aisles and asked if he could help. With my wear description of what we were looking for he set out to help us find them and stayed with us, offering g suggestions until we found them. Always friendly and smiling.

Online purchases are difficult for some of their team members. Ive had to go to the store 3 times to pick up one item. Wasted time and money.

I love this store! The staff is amazing, prices are competitive, and their stock is always on point. I could almost run my entire repair business from this location. Grab an ice cream and soda on your way out and sign up for the rewards program. Everything is easy to find, youll love it after one visit.

Great store and service but during these times no social distancing going on! Was concerned while shopping and at checkout. No gloves, distance monitoring or sanitizing going on like other stores. Wont be back unless they get with the program. :(

Wow! Huge selection that rivals any other hardware store, and beats their inventory in some ways. Plus the store is bright, and clean. And customer service is awesome.

I brought in a key and a blank that I purchased to have it cut. Thinking they could charge me for the cutting, they refused to even perform the service because the blank wasn’t purchased from them. So if you buy a car key with a remote on it, I’d take it elsewhere.

Only place where I could purchase the kiddy pool I was looking for

I went to Ace since I heard they are hardware experts rather than Lowes or Home Depot. I went in to get some chain for securing a gate and the experienced employee was less than enthusiastic to help. I then asked about a lubricant (Triflow) my locksmith suggested and then he stated we dont have it but you can find something similar over on isle 17. I went over there since he was too occupied to show me and...wa la!! They had Triflow. Not impressed with this stores employees.
