This is a fun place! I chose Fruit Passion (vanilla base with blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple) and topped it with gummies, mangoes, and a chocolate stick. The cleanliness score is 95--what you want in any food establishment. The staff is super helpful. Ice King serves the freshest cold dessert in Montgomery. We have returned to Ice King several more times and I am posting new pictures of Jason and Isaac making these delicious desserts. We had Cookie Monster (Oreo in base) and Monkey Business (banana, of course) with a choice of three toppings each.

After a recent good dinner in Montgomery AL we visited the Ice King store for a dessert to top off a nice evening spent with family. I had never seen ice cream made and served the way it’s done at the Ice King. The base ingredients are mixed, fresh milk is added to the cold plate and everything is mixed on the plate. As the milk freezes, it’s spread and rolled, making a delicious dessert.I can only highly recommend this place for great ice cream!

Ice King is about the presentation as much as the food! The ice cream is delicious with tons of flavors available and great toppings selection. It tastes great and it looks great. Its fun to watch the ice cream mixed in front of you and then beautifully served in rolls.

Sweet (literally 😉) family-run spot. Really fun to watch the ice cream being made--plenty of space to bring the whole family or a group. This spot was a frozen yogurt chain previously and Im glad they brought another sweet treat option to this location. Keep up the good work, Ice King! ☺️😋

Me and my family went to this establishment last Saturday evening around 7pm. 3/6/21. There was a line and we waited about 5-7 minutes behind the others before us. When it was our turn to order, the young man working (apparently the only employee) told us that he was not taking anymore orders. I then asked if he knew that he was closing before we waited in line. He said that he was the only one there and that we had to wait if we wanted service, but he did not give us the impression that he wanted to help us. We left. He was overworked and stressed and I was not comfortable with him making my food. I don’t blame the young man, but the owners should have come in to help him with the Saturday crowd. My past visits were good, so I’m hoping that one day I’ll give this place another try.

You gotta stay open to have a business. So disappointed to drive 45 minutes only to find the store closed. Not suppose to close for another hour🙄

Pretty good but they only had one employee working on our orders while another kind of putzing around. Other than than it was really good and refreshing. I dont think Id go back but it was nice to see what it had to offer.

This place is nice if youre looking for a different way of enjoying ice cream. My children liked it. The flavor (strawberry) I had was tasteless, but my children really enjoyed theirs.

I was surprised that it was still open at 10:15, the staff was very nice and helped us with our orders. I loved to watch how they mixed everything and rolled the ice cream. The ice cream was super delicious, I highly recommend Ice King and definitely will be going back for more.

Neat place & creative designs done with ice cream by the person preparing your order. Kinda reminds me of going to one of the Japanese restaurants where they entertain you with the cooking process. Except here you can watch the guy designing your ice cream order. Con: its expensive.

One of my little cousins talked me into trying this place and I swear my world was turned upside down. Who knew fresh ice cream could be this good. Its fun to watch and even better to taste. And you can customize it.

The ice cream was so good and fresh. They had lots of options, and it was fun to watch them make it. I do think they need to clean up their music selection, though. I seemed like a family friendly environment, but the music they were playing was loud and vulgar. Clean that up!

You will love this place!! The staff is super nice and it is extremely clean...100 on the health score. The ice cream is very tasty and oh so interesting to watch...you have to experience it yourself. I promise you dont be disappointed.

I love this place! The matcha paradise with coconut, marshmallows, and pocky was so refreshing. Not too sweet and had a great flavor. My kids got the cookies and cream one with whipped cream, sprinkles, and marshmallows and they devoured it. They were also super cute when they came out. Definitely a nice place to stop in with the family on a hot day.

First time visitor...The menu was full of choices, plus you get (3) three free toppings! My wife and I saw all of the children there, but we also enjoyed watching them make our icecream. DELICIOUS! Well definitely be back with our Godchild.

This was a fun, new experience. The ice cream was good and the staff was friendly. I would suggest a family friendlier music playlist, though. Playing music with bad language doesnt really make me want to come back.

My fiance and I were there for the first time. Easy to order, smiles on the representative faces, deliciously made ice cream before your eyes. I ate all of mine and so did he. Definitely suggest the Pink Lady.

Pleasantly surprised by this store! They have extensive menu plus choose 3 toppings for free. They make ice cream right when you order. I had matcha strawberry and it was delicious (although my husband said it could use more sweetness to it) and he had the Cookie Monster which was also fantastic! Of course watching them make the ice cream is pretty entertaining. They also sell nitrogen infused cheeseballs for that dragon breath effect perfect for social media sharing.

Novel concept, but the presentation & limited exotic flavors dont justify $6 for some fancy frozen milk. No richness of flavor or smooth mouthfeel.

I was in the area & have never tried rolled ice cream before.My lil 2 & 1/2 year old niece & I walked over here while her Mama treated herself to a pedi across the parking lot. This place was clean & neat. We ordered 2 ice creams (they only have 1 size just fyi) & the cashier was nice enough to place my nieces topping separate (I didnt want to deal with a melt down cause everything is not seperate! LOL) in the ice cream lids. We enjoyed our treats very much! The restrooms were nice & clean. The staff was friendly as well! Id definitely recommend this spot!

I thought it was just regular ice cream scooped out into a cup.The rolls were really cute..
