I purchased a small double wide from them in May 2019. I had a terrible experience and I was a 1st time buyer. I was excited to be buying my own new home. That wonderful experience turned into a nightmare. Dont get me wrong the staff was wonderful it was the owner Cliff Davis, everytime I came in asking questions to the sales person I was working with when thing didnt look right hed always take over and give along speech and side track the original question. They never would give me all the paper work at one time Id have to keep coming back because there was always something else needing to be signed. He makes it seem like hes helping you out but the whole time hes trying to get you for as much as he can. In the end I was still over charged for my home and Im sure I was over charged for the dirt pad too. I was suppose to have gotten a discount for my home because it was the display, they charged me the regular price and made it seem like I was getting a discount. Once I finally realized this it was too late the purchasing process had been completed. When I got my home finally it took forever to get everything finish, I almost lost my house insurance because they took so long to put it up. I called them so many times and sent pictures of repairs that needed to be done. My stove had a huge dent in the back and my floor was messed up from where somebody previously tried to move it. He said he would replace it and they didnt. I wouldnt advice anyone to buy a home from here, if your inexperienced and a 1st time buyer please be careful.

I purchased a 2020 16x82 home from Cliff Davis Homes in October of 2019. I wired them the full asking price as well as 1500 towards the dirt pad, also paying their dirt pad guy another 3000.00 to set up the pad. I was told the pad cost that much, to find out later that I was charged basically twice as much. I chalked that up after many failed attempts on my end to receive my over charge amount. Here we are 10 months later and there is no skirting on the trailer, power isn’t connected, and there are three doors including an exterior sliding doors that do not shut, Sheetrock cracked on two different seams, and the trailer is unloveable. I’ve reached out at least 10 times to have these things fixed and was given the run around every time. Once again I paid in full with my personal checking to CDHC and tens months after purchase I have an unloveable home and was swindled out of at least 2000.00 dollars. I would strongly suggest to never in any way do business with them. Btw the home is something I donated to the Wounded Warrior project and as affordable housing for Veterans.

Been in my home for two years now. I bought it from Cliff Davis. I enjoy all the people that worked with me, Mr. Davis and all of his sons. If I had to buy another one, which I doubt I ever will, I would buy it a gain from Cliff Davis Homes. I would recommend anyone to Cliff Davis Homes! Financial wise and everything else he supports you every step of the way and guides you through the process. He follows up on the people he sells his homes to and makes sure they are still happy with their home!

Constantine was most helpful: he researched our different options. It took a bit longer since financial institutions wanted assurance the loan would be recouped. Constantine spent time working with us until he located a lender who presented us with a payment schedule we could meet.At each juncture, Constantine constantly reassured us we would get the home we had chosen. Finally, everything came together and we are living in our beautiful new home.Be assured that every contractor Mr. Davis sent to set up the house arrived on time. They were very professional and, again, we are pleased with the results.A feature that Mr. Davis incorporates is buyer afterbuy information. Constantine visited us after we had moved in with a booklet full of tips and vital information. This is the only company that provides this valuable feature. The tips were invaluable. #1 Place to purchase your home. We went to several places looking to buy our home & none of the places seemed to fit us. Cliff Davis Home employees seemed to really care about helping you find your forever home. We were in a hurry to find a home, purchase it, get it set up, & ready to move in because our lease on our apartment was coming up. Every other place we went to said our deadline was impossible. Home buying is stressful enough all on its own, but to have a business owner insult your intelligence and threaten you? Yeah, no thanks. I wouldnt buy a bottle of water from this place. Save yourself the unnecessary stress and go somewhere that doesnt try and bully you into a buying a home at terms you do not agree with.

Went in there looking for my starter home and he said that the homes were built for his lot but I went to timberline homes in clanton and found the same house for cheaper

These people turned my first home-buying experience into a disaster. They are a family of cheap manipulators who seem to not know how to communicate well enough to run a business. I purchased a home from them, They were all Promises and Rainbows Until i signed the closing documents. Then it was a month to get a lot model onto my property, 3 trips to attempt to do finishing work without proper materials, Neither of my doors worked properly (i had to barricade my front door and rig my rear door so my home was secure because they never came out to even attempt to fix them) when my home arrived and i didnt even receive keys for my back door at first nor was i informed of the missing keys, I made the mistake of having them do my septic which was a whole load lies (turns out the guy they were using quit on due to bad publicity), after they did a 2 day rush job on the last minute finishing work and skirting they missed several cracks in the sheet rock walls and when they had to return to fix them i gave a copy of my floorplan and marked the bad areas with a X and they missed a entire room completely along with making a horrible home seam (double wide) worse and spraying paint on my carpet. I signed my closing documents on March 3rd, its now June 23rd and they are refusing to repair my home any further even though the manufacturer has told us that the repairs are their responsibility. Apparently i get to clean up their mess because its my fault they have incompetent employees and poor communication.On another note, they DO NOT use manufacturer approved footings (found that out in hindsight) and DO NOT have their own service crew, everything is through cheapest third party installer they can find so dont expect a timely or good job on your install.My advice if you are looking for a home is DO NOT USE CLIFF DAVIS HOME CENTER, and pay another dealer a little extra to have the home manufacturer install your home, you will get better service and a guarantee on the repairs, not sorry excuses and horrible service.

I put up a 1,000 deposit the owner threatened not to give it back after being disrespectful for a on going 30 minutes or better after I decided not to move forward with my purchase after I seen my interest rate but he did apologize and wrote me a check for 1,000$ I wouldnt buy a bottle of water from those guys
