My husband and I were both outfitted for ski boots. We made an appointment for one hour to complete the fitting, but it went longer given the challenges of finding a boot that worked best for me. The owner did an amazing job and provided excellent and expert service. Most importantly, we were not rushed - he helped guide us to make the best decision. Both of us are very happy with our purchases and we plan to go back to Slope Style for many years to come.

These guys are doing a great job filling the need for downhill outfitters in Washington County. Knowledgable, efficient and friendly. I also noticed some decent prices on gear. Kids now have safe skis, safe helmets and we are ready to ride. Thanks Slopestyle.

Came here on a whim to try on some ski boots not knowing what to expect. The owner ended up helping me out and we were able to find a great pair of boots! Got them fitted and ended up also buying a pair of poles. This place is great if you want trustworthy and great staff. I will continue to shop here for all of my skiing needs. I dont have kids, but if I did I would use this place to lease seasonal gear. The staff also showed me where all the sale items were, which I appreciated. Who doesnt love a good deal??? Got a great deal on poles from the sale bin. If you are in the Montpelier/Barre/Berlin area, shop here for skii and snowboard gear!

I had a good, personable experience with SlopeStyle in Montpelier, Vermont. The female attendant was clearly well - informed, and explained the boot fitting process in detail. Weight and height were strictly enforced, and my needs met. She was flexible charging me for 2 days, instead of 3 days, because I was late arriving one day, starting my rental at 1500 hours. One issue was that my size, 23 wasnt available, and I was put in a 23.5, which believe it or not, was too big and caused too much lateral movement. $$$ out of $$$$$ . Parking lot. Gender - non specific bathroom. I would recommend SlopeStyle.

Great tune shop! I thrashed my skis on a recent trip and left them with Ian. I got back a pair of skis with a like-new base. Check out the before and after pictures; my skis were expertly repaired. Thanks Ian!

Baught some boots and rented skiis here, I have to say this place is great. Very knowledgeable people that fitted by boots. While returning my skiis, I left them behind and headed home to New Jersey, when I realized thet I left it I called them up and asked them to ship it and ill pay for it and they said its on the house!!

Stopped into Slopestyle today to drop off some skis and bindings to get mounted. Had a quick conversation about about “shin bang” with my boots. Neither skis, bindings, or boots were purchased at this store. When i came back late afternoon, skis were set to go. The bonus was that during the day, Ian researched a whole new way of dealing with ‘shin bang’ and how to possibly resolve it. He asked me if i would be interested in him trying to refit my boots (free of charge) to learn about what he studied, to see if it worked! Solid shop! Will support these guys from here on out. Always great to see people running a solid business where they are excited about learning new things to get a better understanding of what is possible to make people’s decisions about ski gear, and issues with that gear, resolved to have a better setup with that investment. Gordon and Ian run a great shop. They are very knowledgeable. Gordon helped me with boots, knew all the right questions to ask and listened to my concerns. He selected boots for me first based on the shape of my feet and we worked to find the best, snug fit that would require the least alterations. Then adjust the liner and shell to the foot. Very happy with the result.

Been renting from Slopestyle for years. Get the insurance so when your son cracks a board they replace it. Free tuneups make it so worth it. And I love their suncloud sunglasses!

I have been skiing for many, many years and I have purchased numerous pairs of ski boots along my skiing journey from some of the most reputable ski shops in VT and NH, and nothing comes close to the attention to detail and care I received from Ian at Slopestyle. He measured parts of my foot that have never been measured and his knowledge, thoughtfulness and patience was incredible. I have never loved a pair of ski boots so much. Went to pick up the kids (8 and 10) alpine lease gear today and asked about leasing x country skis for them as well - Yep. Ian, Gordy and Tess all helped in the process of getting boots, poles and skis (as well as summer wax off my K2s). Kids had great fun on the nordic gear today and were all ready for early season downhill ta boot. All in 20 minutes. Always a pleasure visit our local ski/snowboard shop!

I wanted to give Slopestylke Ski...my local business. I bought a pair of Hestra Gloves. Well over $100! I have now just worn them twice in 25 plus degree weather and my hands were frozen. I came inside and took the gloves off after the second use and felt my fingers; They felt incredibly cold because they were!I called the store and was not offered any solution. NOT ONE SUGGESTION TO HELP! I was told they were a premium glove and they could not take them back.Speaking of Back, I Will Not Be Ever Coming Back!Peter Scott
