Seems they have pared down much of their in house stock and gone online with most of it. Now its mostly cell phones and tablets or laptops. Gadgets and doo-dads. If youre looking for cables and phone cases then youre good. Any kind of serious appliance, stereo piece, or Blu Ray? Its not your store anymore. Hardly any staff. Seems like Amazon and online shopping is putting the pressure on them as well.

Drove 45 min to come buy something in store just to find out cant even go in store. Should have something posted on web saying store is to sorry to be open need to close permanently if this is type of service best buy is going to offer. There is absolutely no excuse for this. I was looking to spend a few hundred bucks in store but now I will order it from somewhere besides best buy. I refuse to support any business that cant be open and provide services

Crazy experience. went in for an item and wasnt helped by a single person. Walked past at least 4 employees just standing around; I Worked at best buy for years, what happened to at least asking if someone needs help with something? Went to someone and they said look online for avaliablity. Guess thats why I use Amazon.

Came in for a screen repair and they broke my phone in the process. I was then told Id have a new phone 3 days later. Then I came in to get my new phone and was told it would be over 7 days. They then said Apple said I couldnt get a loaner phone after speaking to Apple I found out best buy are the ones who give loaners. Summary being I came in to get my screen fixed and paid $300, its been 5 days and Ive had to go buy a phone to be able to work so Im now out $500 and no eta when Ill get my phone back. The geek squad at this location is a joke and the 3 people at the front desk gave me 3 different reasons and eta when Id have a phone. Would not recommend using then for anything.

Best buy is not somewhere I typically will shop for my electronics needs but they did have what I was looking for and for a good price(rare event). I am giving them 3 stars as once I approached a blue shirt they were very personable. I am giving 3 stars as I was never once asked if I needed help until I was ready for check-out. I am also giving them 3 stars for their unclear wording on their price match guarantee.

Just rode my motorcycle 45 miles to go get the aftershockz areopex wireless bone conduction headphones to find that inside the box was only one charging cord and the headphones. The carrying case, ear plugs, and second charger where not inside the box. Extremely disappointed. The bag holding the extra charging cord had a hole in it. Its clear that someone at some point salvaged the pieces they wanted from the box I purchased from best buy.

Will never buy anything from best buy again . They could or would not show me a copy of my contract where I made the purchase of my new computer. I am receiving e. Mail from city bank after making a 200.00 hundred dollar payment. The bank did not have a record. So I showed them the 200.00 receipt. Then I used my bank card and paid best buy the balance . of 700.00 and change. Now I have to get in touch with Citi bank to confirm the balance has been paid. Go figure.

Everytime I have been to this location, it almost always has something going on to where you cant go inside. If you have employees sitting in the tent outside doing nothing they should be able to go inside and get the item you would like to see and process payment outside. Chick fil a can process my payment outside, hopefully a company that deals with technology could figure out how to do it.Awful customer service. No wonder people just buy things on Amazon.

Although it was seemingly a struggle with an obscure item that wasnt being easily found, the store manager took time of his own to assist and find what I needed. That effort goes a long way when considering the time and drive without needing to further attempt chasing something down, and it is definitely greatly appreciated!!!

Had a really great associate help me find the right tablet. She was knowledgeable, answered a million questions and went above and beyond to help as I had gotten out of the house without my glasses. I cant say enough good things about this young woman.I cant say that this is the norm for this store because more often than not they cant seem to get away fast enough.

We walked into the store to look at some of the powered speakers for my sons birthday. We walked by 5 employees watching tv at the theater section and they just looked at us. None of them asked if we needed help or even acknowledged we were there. We left that area and finally found the speakers on our own. We found the one we liked but didn’t find a price for it so I asked another employee walking by if we could get some help and he said he would send someone so we waited about 5 minutes but no one came. I will take my money somewhere else if that how they treat customers. I called the store to tell them what happened and they said you can’t talk directly to the store cause they don’t have much help. The employees looked like they were all talking to each other and ignoring the customers. There were at least 20 people working there and in groups chatting with each other.

Out of all the Best Buys Ive been to, this one had the worst DVD and bluray section possible. Even though there are all sorts of streaming services, you cant find every movie you want on them and people still enjoy buying movies on disc. This section along with their video game section might as well not exist.

Tried to call the store several times, not answer! Went to the store to buy a Macbook, was not it stock. I ordered it and when I got the bill the price was wrong. Tried to call customer service and the BB credit card department and no help. Went to the store again and the manager did help me %100. A lot of frustration for a simple $1000 purchase. I like Best Buy but they need to fix a few things. Example, Answer your phones! Product knowledge!

Ordered a treadmill online paid $199 for “expert installation” made an appointment for 12/18 from 7 to 1. Nobody showed up not only that no call no text no email. I have been trying to get someone on the phone and that is impossible. I want to cancel order and cancel Best Buy credit card. Amazon will treat me better.This is the worst I have ever been treated and I spent $3,100.

I will not be back to this store and possibly any Best Buy. At the present time call Mama you call the store number for any store, you cannot talk to that specific store. Instead, you talk to a central operator for all Best Buy stores. I specifically asked about Visa prepaid cards that can be used anywhere, not cards such as gas cards or iTunes cards. I was assured that all locations sold these. I drove over 45 minutes to this location and was told that they had not sold Visa prepaid cards in many years. The staff was less than friendly and were not accommodating. In fact, the young lady at the door almost seemed like she was guarding the store. They discourage browsing in the store and ask you many many questions while you are entering. I was unable to find any friendly staff at this location. I did find one gentleman who was somewhat helpful but even he was not friendly. There used to be a Best Buy location in Afton Village Kannapolis however that location was closed permanently and that is a shame because it was a great store. This Mooresville location really is terrible!

Willie Robertson (General Manager) is why this store has such Great reviews! The way you lead creates a waterfall to all others in the organization. I recently had an issue with a defective laptop purchase I made at this store. The manufacturer was not willing to make it right. I explained the problem to Willie and without hesitation, he made it right. After experiencing this and the immediate support from Willie, I am a Best Buy believer, especially at the Mooresville, NC location! Came in a couple weeks ago the guy at the door was very nice he asked me what I was looking for I told him he grabbed a sales person and told him to show me where what I was looking for was and to answer any questions or concerns for me. He shows me where the TVs were bc that’s what I was looking for and of course I had questions but before I could get a question out he was walking away already so I had to go find him and bring him back to the TVs to ask. He would just stare at me and say like 2 words and before I could ask another question he was walking away. This happened a few times. Idk if it’s my I had my toddler with me (she was behaving) idk if it’s bc I have tattoos, idk if it’s bc I’m pregnant, idk if it’s bc were two different colors. All I know is i left the store and went to Walmart and bought what I needed.

Friendly people greet you at the door. Safety precautions in place. Customer entered without a mask and was politely asked to ware a mask. Customer refused and was angry but was not allowed in. So glad to see a business following the rules displayed. I will shop there again if I have to go out. Safety is important there!

I have been having the worst time calling the Best Buy customer service line, they have messed up my large appliance order time and time again. I finally went into the Best Buy store and the manager Kim and another employee (I dont remember her name) were super helpful in resolving the issue. They made sure everything was done correctly and that there were no more issues. I appreciate that they took their time to help me and reassured me that it would all get fixed. I will definitely be coming back to this store in the future

How can you literally see a customer looking at Apple products for a half hour and just ignore them 🤣 They have some sorry employees at this location that are more concerned with talking amongst themselves than helping customers. I was going to buy a new iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch Series 6 LTE but no one wanted to even acknowledge my existence besides the guy that greets people as they walk in. That guys cool. And it wasnt just this time either its been the last few times that Ive gone in there this has happened. Went to Verizon on 150 and I was in and out of there in like 15 minutes with a new activated iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch with fast, excellent customer service! Go there instead if you have Verizon and need a new phone. The only good thing I can say about Best Buy is their store pick-up game is on point. Its always quick, but everything there is overpriced and is on Amazon cheaper with same day or next day delivery so...

This store is awful! I went to the store because you wont answer the phone. I was trying to get someone to help me and was told to wait in line. I waited in line about 15 minutes. When it was clear I was next they walked away from their desk! I tried to get one of the other salespeople to help were standing around talking! I hope this isnt the way you do your business all the time. Definitely a clear sign that I will not return

Walked into the store needing a new phone and waiting about 20 minutes before a Gentleman decided to start helping us... long story short he sold me a phone the galaxy A series (51) when i got home i tried to facetime someone via msgr and it was wayy slower and choppier than my outdated S7! Went back the next day expecting at least some sutle remorse for waisting my time he then sent me to Charlotte for a phone that would end up being what i was looking for the emplyees in Clt put this young guy to shame they were so much more helpful 3 employees all truely helped me get in and out in 15 min..

I urge you to not bring your Apple products here for repair. I took my Iphone 11 (6 months old) in for repair because the camera wasnt working. I was told I needed a replacement phone because the face ID wasnt working. They didnt have any white Iphone 11 in stock so it needed to be sent to Apple and Apple would overnight me a new phone. I am on day 8 with no phone. They literally took my phone and I havent had one in 8 days. I have spent HOURS on the phone with Best Buy corporate and no one could tell me where my phone was. I would try calling the store and I would sit on hold for hours because Best Buy Mooresville doesnt answer their phones instead it goes to an understaffed phone hub where no one answers. I finally drove to Best Buy only to be told they cant tell me when Ill get my phone and offered me a $10 store credit. I dont like the Apple store so I was trying to avoid it but I made a big mistake. Best Buy has the most horrendous customer support and no one should have to be without a cell phone for 8 days. Save yourself the headache, anxiety, and hours of your life and take your products elsewhere for service.
