Had to have a full transmission rebuild as well as have both rear wheel bearings replaced on my Cadillac SRX. They allowed me to make an appointment to have this done and they had my vehicle in the shop first thing that morning. Completed all repairs in just a couple days and my Caddy is driving great again. Transmissions Unlimited did an excellent job on the repair of my Lexus GS300. I took the car to Hendricks Lexus and they told me that I needed to replace the transmission ($5,000). I asked Transmissions Unlimited to repair the transmission. They immediately determined the transmission was in good working order and proceeded to try to find the correct problem. After very diligent efforts by the mechanic they determined that I needed a catalytic converter and a mass air flow sensor. The car was repaired at a fraction of the cost of replacing a perfectly functioning transmission. The car is working great! Excellent job by the mechanic! I would highly recommend Transmissions Unlimited for you car repair needs.

Transmissions unlimited completed a transmission swap on my 1967 Kaiser Jeep M715. The swap involved going from a Turbo 400 to a 4L80E attached to an 8.1 Litre. This involved custom work with the crossmember, drive shafts, Transfer case, as well as the computer to control the transmission. Everything turned out great and works great! I will be using this shop in the future and highly recommend them.

The owner Michael was very professional and honest. I booked my appointment for a custom exhaust on my car. I was asking a lot and knew it may not be possible but Michael got done what I wanted even so I gave him the option to do the easier solution. He took his time and got it done and very good work. This Auto Repair business has been a god send for me. It would be a huge disservice to not give these guys and girls a fantastic review.I had a sudden issue with my Transmission and had a near breakdown at the cost others wanted to charge. Transmissions Unlimited not only gave me a much fairer price but also had a rental car available at no cost (signed an agreement). This saved me so much money and I drove that car like an infant was in there with me. It got me to and from work for the 2-3 weeks my car was out.I was so happy I started taking my business there for other needs. Recently I needed new Brakes and Rotors in the front and not only was it completed quickly but the price was very doable as well. THey will work with you any way they can. Took my 96 GMC Van in thinking the transmission was bad, due to only having 2nd gear and no speedometer. Mike took my van and test drove it put it up on the lift prior to beginning the rebuild and did an overall inspection and found that the issue was bad wiring. They fixed the wires for a fraction of the cost of a rebuild. Mike Saved me thousands of dollars and was upfront an honest with his findings. Great customer service is like a given here. For my car’s transmission replacement I was referred here by Ford and Toyota dealers. Transmissions Unlimited were extremely professional and gave me a heads up about everything they did. They diligently worked for many many hours with my awful warranty company to get the claims processed making it a seamless experience for me. With COVID-19 lockdown in place they were gracious enough to drop off my car at my home. They really deserve a 10 out of 5 star for the amazing care they provide to your car and to you as a customer.

On January 3rd me and my family where traveling home from visiting family in Atlanta Georgia when our 2001 Volvo V70 broke down. You could only imagine the overwhelming feeling my husband and I had breaking down on the road with 2 kids and our dog. We had our car towed to the closest shop.After sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours we where told that our engine was shot. The shop suggested that we take the plates off and offered to keep our car until we could have it picked up by the junk yard. I couldnt believe what I was hearing, my sister called me from Georgia and insisted that I take the car to Transmission Unlimited; which was less than 2 miles away.Upon arrival my husband and I where greeted with a smile. We explained our situation and the emotional attachment we had to the car. Ron made no promises, and within 3 weeks he was able to diagnose the problem and determined that the timing belt was off by 5 degrees and that a new engine was not needed. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Ron and Steve and the amazing staff at Transmission Unlimited. They are truly an amazing auto shop. I would strongly recommend their auto shop for all repairs.

Steve is an awesome guy, some might know him as the little fat guy from Florida. Well, if you dont then you havent had a chance to talk to the awesome guy! I have taken my 1999 Ford Exploder in there for multiple repairs (had to find someone I trusted because my car needed some caring). Every time I leave, I feel good about the time and work put into repairing my vehicle! I have never been back to get something fixed that they worked on previously; that is amazing. I had a new transmission installed, new brakes, full tune-up, everything! These guys do it all, and I am pleased to say I have never had an issue with customer service either. Transmission started pouring fluid from the dust cover after a month. Gave them a brand new sensor to Install because I knew it was bad and they lost it. Also lost my damn key and blamed me that I mustve took the key. Hit something and damaged my bumper and claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. Took pics of the marks and called them while the truck was at the shop and when I got there they spray painted it to try and cover up the marks on the bumper. Id have given them no stars but thats not an option. Doubt theyll fix the leak even though I have a warranty. For an $1800 rebuild Id expect better service and quality and to top it off my reverse lights dont work. They claimed a sensor was bad but why they wouldnt change the sensors in a rebuild is beyond me. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
