Friendly knowledgeable staff.Beautiful quality meat & cut very well.They had some gorgeous scallops & I had to get some of those as well. They didn’t disappoint. Nice selection of wine, and other speciality pantry items. I got some awesome mustard & a bottle of veuve cliquot (been sold out at total wines & Whole Foods for months) for cheaper than I’ve gotten it at any other store in the area!

Dropped in today for the first time. Brought 2 fillets for my Jeep guy. I understand they were so tender you didnt even have to use a knife to cut them!!! 10 stars💖 I think hell work on my jeep again!!!

I knew after reading some of the reviews about this place I would be happy. Went for a duck and 2 rabbits for Thanksgiving dinner, ended up with a duck, a rabbit, venison tenderloin and an elk tenderloin. Also will be getting 2 fresh turkeys tomorrow. Well become my favorite butcher shop, cant wait for the snake meat to come in. Thank you for the meat will post pictures on Thursday.

AMAZING!!! Quality of meat is best around. Painstakingly will prepare your cut for you. Italian sausage reminded my 70 year old father of what he used to get down the shore in Jersey 30+ years ago.Only place around we have found with quality sashimi grade tuna!

What a gem of a butcher shop! It was totally worth the 45 min drive from Indian Trail🙂We picked up some gorgeous filets, pork chops, salmon and cowboy ribeye. The tough decision was to choose which to cook tonight! We opted to make a nice surf n turf. The filet was absolutely delicious. Wishing Lake Norman Butchery the very best of success!

This place has been my family and friend’s fave because they have a great selection! The blue cheese sausage and fillets are our go-to! Not to mention the unique selection of goodies at the front from local places too! I have to say... their customer service is above and beyond. They had a mishap with a piece of their equipment a few weeks ago and they were amazing still. They went out of their way to get me the items we pre-ordered for a gathering we had that night and it was so appreciated. If you want great service with a great selection, this is your go-to!!!!

Ive been here several times since they opened, and Ive always left 100% satisfied. They are super, super friendly, and they really have a passion for what they do. Every time I go, I can find some new type of meat to take home. So far, their specialty sausages have been my favorite, and they make them in house! Overall, I would seriously recommend them. They are local and quality!

I was told about this butchery by a girlfriend of mine who lives in Davidson. I drove the 35 minutes from Charlotte just to check out what it was all about, and I was thoroughly impressed.I walked in thinking Id find some house-made chorizo and buy a filet, and ended up talking with one of the butchers for almost 45 minutes. Being that Im a chef, I of course, nerded out about the range of products they had. Not to mention, they carry certified A5 Japanese wagyu- which, if one is not aware, comes with a birth certificate of the cow it was cut from. Very cool.I ended up taking home some A4 American wagyu filets! The marbling of fat was immaculate, and the price they ask for is so reasonable.I prepared them the way Mike told me to, and they were as awesome as he said theyd be. Ill be a repeat customer for as long as I live in NC, worth the drive, and the atmosphere. 10/10.

I bought marinated chicken breast and lamb chops. The marinade for the chicken was very tasty, and the lamb chops were amazing. Very helpful and friendly shop. I will definitely be back.Three weeks later I bought a few filets. Best we have ever had. This is definitely the best meat in town!

Love this place! The cuts of meat a very quality and you can get custom cut items. They have everything you need for a bbq or day on the lake. Highly recommend! The staff is super knowledgeable and Sam (the butcher/owner) is always there to greet you with a smile!

Went in for the first time to get filets. The service was fantastic. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I happened to see marinated chicken breasts and asked about them while I was there. They were in olive oil, fresh garlic, red pepper flakes and thyme (I think). I made them for dinner tonight and they were PHENOMENAL!! Everything I bought was fresh, high quality and reasonably priced. Very nice to have an alternative to grocery store meats nearby. I will certainly be back and hope you will try it too. Stopped into this new family run local business recently. Picked out two New York strips and had a chance to talk to Sam and his wife. Wonderful people with an impeccably clean establishment! Plan on going back for our meat in the near future.

First time getting meats from a butcher and Wow, what a difference. I got a kebab combo with Shrimp, beef sausage, chicken, and steak. Everything was great including the seasoning. Go check them out and taste the difference yourself!

Walked in and bought a beautiful porterhouse and a strip steak. Grilled both that night—delicious! Also saw beautiful Scottish salmon and so many other dinner options. Do yourself a favor and visit LKN Butchery. Talk to the butchers and let them guide you toward a great meal.

Geat quality products and selection at competitive prices. The staff is incredibly helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. If you dont see something in the case, they probably have it in the back or will find a way to get it for you.

Been waiting a long time to have a Butcher in town to buy quality cuts of meat and seafood. They have a great selection with several organic options too. The owner and staff are pleasant and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to many BBQs this summer.

This place is excellent! They have great deli meat that is hard to find and Wagyu Filet mignon cut to your liking! I give them an A++ cant seem to find wagyu anywhere!

This place is fantastic! It is cool to have a place in Mooresville for quality cuts of meat and seafood. Everything is so fresh and the owner is very knowledgable. If you want something that us not out there then they will work to get it in. The price is reasonable as well. I cant wait to see all the offerings as this local small business grows!

We bought T-bone streaks, at least 1.5 inches thick. DELICIOUS! Give these guys a try. You will be satisfied.

I visited this butchery today for the first time. They had a wonderful selection of beef, chicken, fish and some wild get. They had a good selection of of local craft beer which was a pleasant surprise.

Sam the Butcher - you cant go wrong with that name. He told me that he ran kitchens as a chef in big venue locations and has always been a butcher. Sam chooses his meats and seafoods like you would expect from a local quality butcher. Ive bought from him a few times over the past month including some nice thick pork chops made into a chop with a red pepper chutney, some ribeyes, and he has some special source for exotic sausages like bison and elk and your standard fare. Nice guy, I wish him success in his new business. Oh yeah, good beer there....especially the local mooresville brewery choice.

Arrived at 4:10 on Sunday (after closing) and the crew served us well. Everything fresh and very good quality - there’s no substitute even close store bought. Ask the butcher and they have it!
