I will be turning 50 in a couple of months. I have had horrible vision my entire life. Dr Harris learned about sclera contacts. They are very new. She heard they do well with people with difficult vision. She saw me a couple of times for exams (it takes a little while to get these contacts perfect). I have never ever seen this well in my life. I have perfect 20/20 vision. I am so incredibly happy. I just cannot believe how well I can see. I went to the grocery store, after my appointment, and was amazed how much I could see. I absolutely love Dr Harris and her staff. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I recommend her 1000%. I would not go anywhere else.

Staff and Dr Torrey were excellent. Very experienced and professional. They made me feel very comfortable through all of the exams.I was going to take my prescription with me but the gentleman was so helpful helping me find my frames and exactly what I wanted I bought two pairs after my appointment. He had it all figured out with my insurance and made it very easy for me.Would totally recommend. I will definitely go back here!

I now live an hour and 15 mins away from Lake Norman Eye and had previously seen Dr. Harris for years when I lived closer but ended up changing offices to somewhere closer to home. Other eye doctors prescribed contact lenses that left me seeing poorly. After hearing, “that’s the best you will be able to see”, I knew Dr. Harris could do better. She prides herself in getting contact lens prescriptions perfect! I went in to see her with my previous prescription, she started over and I ended up seeing better than 20/20!! She spends as much time as needed to get your prescription exact. You never feel rushed and she truly cares about each patient and is even determined to help the most difficult to fit patients. After I was so pleased with my new prescription, I convinced my mom, who lives 2 hours away, to go see Dr Harris. She is exceptionally difficult to fit in a contact lens and had given up on being able to see clearly. Once again hearing, “that’s the best you will be able to see”. Dr. Harris spent hours and several visits perfecting my mom’s hard bifocal contact lens, designing it with a representative, especially for her eye. The final contact changed my mom’s outlook on life! It’s such a blessing to be able to see clearly!!! Dr. Harris is a blessing and I have recommended her to everyone I know as THE BEST EYE DOCTOR you will ever go to! She is incredible at what she does! Thank you Dr. Harris!!!!!!

Dr. Harris and Harlow are both wonderful doctors with friendly personalities, great knowledge and a wonderful staff. During corona they are handling things well with calling when you arrive, spacing guests out, temperature checks, plexiglass, and lots of cleaning. I appreciated them before this and now even more!

Terrific experience from start to finish!! I had a first appointment at lake Norman Eye Care along with my 8 year old daughter. Very helpful in calling my different insurance numbers to b make sure we had the best coverage before getting started. The tools and techniques are cutting edge (no more eye dilation!!!) and we were in/out quickly. I will be back along with my daughter and wife from now on. Doctors Harris and Harlow are spectacular!! Office staff very professional and helpful. Very clean environment. Office is aesthetically appealing. I have a rare ocular disease and they have taken SIGNIFICANT care of me. Over and beyond what I would expect from any doctor EVER!!!

The ladies at this office are extremely helpful and courteous. Dr. Harris is wonderful ophthalmologist and will take all the time needed to make her patients feel at ease and will answer any questions that you may have. The office also offers evening hours on certain days to be more available for those with restrictive schedules. I highly recommend this office!

I went last year and due to confusion over paying 40 dollars to not have my eyes dilated, to requiring to have them dilated, to paying and checking out and leaving before the appointment was over. They gave me a gift card for clutch coffee that says it had 25 dollars only to have 5, when I didnt even ask for it, or really even complain. This year I was hesitant to return and had an even worse experience when Dr. Harris shamed me for deciding to order frames online because I wasnt able to afford their high end frames. Her comment included well when they dont work out thats not my problem. Just all together am awful experience.

I was treated so well by the staff - very friendly and professional. My doctor, Dr Harrow, ran the necessary tests for my condition ( became legally blind, from a laser pin pointed at my eyes). She explained everything and really took the initiative of what are my next steps are. Finally I have found a doctor who really cares about me! 😁

Dr. Harris and her staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. My routine eye exam turned into a situation where emergency retinal surgery was needed. After all was said and done, I returned several weeks later to finish my regular exam (with no additional charge) and pick out new frames to accompany the new lenses. You never want to be the exciting patient that a doctor remembers. But Dr. Harris helped alleviate my fears and accommodated my needs afterward.

Great experience at Lake Norman Eye Care for all three of my boys! One of them had his first visit to the eye doctor and it was excellent. They explained everything to him before they did it and he did great! They have a nice selection of frames. The sports glasses were very affordable too!

My husband had an eye emergency today and Lake Norman Eye Care was able to see him right away. Dr Harris and her staff gave my husband excellent care and fixed his eye emergency in a flash - with no waiting. They spend additional time with you when needed and make sure you understand everything. I recently visited Dr. Harris for my vision problems. I really appreciated her exceptional care and consideration when discussing my options. She took her time throughout the visit without the rushed feeling usually experienced in medical facilities. After my visit, I had a recurring problem which she immediately saw me for and corrected. I cant give a high enough recommendation for this office in regards to the doctors as well as the entire staff!

Amazing visit. The staff are very helpful and cheerful. They had coffee, tea, and cookies in the waiting room (and not the dried out kind at the end of the day). They were able to answer all my questions with a smile. Dr. Trego has to have the best bedside manner of any doctor I have met. I would definitely recommend them! All the staff are friendly and very patient when I was still learning how to put on my first contacts. Dr. Harris is great! She is friendly and she answered all my questions. Unlike other doctors, they will not sell you anything that you dont need. My previous doctor/clinic tried to schedule my Lasik but when I asked for 2nd and 3rd opinion, I was told that its recommended that I wait until my vision/prescription is more stable. Dr. Harris also did tell me that we need to wait and my new prescription is great!

I will not go back here. Every time I tried to talk to the technician about past eye issues she cut me off. The doctor was very nice, she actually let me talk. The girl who helped me pick out frames rushed me so I ended up just choosing anything. I told her I was interested in a second pair, they had a deal going on buy 1 get 1 50% off, but she didnt allow me to pick out a second frame. She just rushed me out the door. I guess its a blessing though since the lens of my glasses have spots on them that wont come off and I only had them for 3 months before these spots appeared. Now I have to either go the rest of the year seeing spots or go somewhere else and pay full price on another pair. Of course Ill choose the latter. Thanks for having me waste my yearly glasses allowance on nothing!

Saturday evening I noticed lightening flashes in my left eye. Left a message on Dr Harriss pager. 15 minutes later she called me back. I apologized for disturbing her on a Saturday evening and asked whether I could see her first thing on Monday morning. No, she said. Ill see you first thing TOMORROW morning! Ill wait until Monday morning I replied. No, she said. Sunday morning. It could be serious, so lets play it safe. The only thing she did not do was come and do a house-call like those old family doctors used to do. But then with all her hi-tech eye-testing equipment, family visits are hardly possible. But this level of care came pretty close! With these folk they clearly DONT subscribe to the take a tylenol and call me next week if it doesnt get better medical fraternity.

Lake Norman Eye Care are extremely professional, friendly, on time (who ever goes to an appointment without sitting in a waiting room for at least 20-30 minutes), so I highly recommend anyone who needs eye care to use their practice.
