I liked how eager they were about putting an engine in my car, but when the motor finally came in, they werent too quick about putting it on the schedule. They agreed to get right to it when the motor arrived, but here we are over a week later and they still havent gotten to putting the engine in. Sorry Ace Repair, but I will go to someplace else in the future.

They really listen to you, and do not try to over charge you even if your like me and plainly say you know nothing about cars! Ive brought my current and previous cars to them, and they tell me if something is wearing out or needs to be replaced. They even let you know if it is worth it or not to replace or if you would be okay waiting a couple more months! Highly recommend.

I want to thank Dave for doing a great job with my car. My power steering fluid kept leaking pretty bad and he fixed it right up within a few hours. I was recommended by a coworker and he told me that they are very knowledgeable and I’m so thankful I have found a place and someone I can trust with my car.. Very good service, Dave seemed like a very honest guy esp when it comes to business!! I thought I was going to pay 200-300 but instead it was much much reasonable than that! Thanks Dave!! Ive got nothing bad to say about this place. Very knowledgeable about cars. He doesnt do transmission work and I dont blame him. But everything else he can fix your car and fix your car up right. Hes even said it himself. He does things the right way thats the way he feels about fixing cars. Hes very fair on prices as well. He doesnt advertise yet hes always busy. What does that tell you about this place?

BEST MECHANIC PERIOD.I’ve been to mechanics from up and down the West Coast to the Midwest. Dave figured out what the problem was, fixed it and prepared for pick up in 3 hours and $50.88.This is a place with integrity and apparently a family owned business.PS The antique/vintage shop is cute too and owned by the same family!!!!

Dave & his crew have been so patient with me and my car the past couple of weeks. I brought it in with front end creaking and ended up having to replace shocks, struts, and sway bar links. I think we finally got it all figured out, after so much time spent trying to recreate the noise. Everyone there was so nice to me, pricing was fair, and they were always willing to drive it around with me to see if we could figure things out. This is definitely my new auto shop!! Thanks guys!

Ace Auto was recommended to me by my amazing, Salt of the Earth mechanic John when he went in for knee surgery and couldnt fix my car. I adore John, but have been using Ace ever since! They are honest, kind, hard working, fast, flexible. Nicest people you will ever meet and Ive never heard a bad word said about them! Everyone I send his way comes back so grateful for the referral! This isnt the old boys club... Dave (owner of Ace) didnt know me from Adam when I first came to him. Hes just a great guy!

I was a long time customer but when they didnt pick up my part for my heater for two days so I could get it installed and were very rude to me over the phone my viewpoint ALL changed. They even lied to me about it when I called Ace auto, that they were going to call suzuki & call me back in an hour whether or not the part was there. No call that day or the next. I had to call in the next day. They only got me on the books after I told them suzuki had the part...they then decided to say they werent going to service Suzukis anymore because of how long it takes to get parts....the part that was there when they were told it would be. They dont advertise but I will from now on! I will warn anybody to stay away. I was a long time customer too. Cant believe they would do that.

Not only is he a good mechanic, he is honest. I brought my car in because I thought something was wrong with the radiator but he said I just needed a new cap which I could get and put in myself. After having dealt with a couple of mechanics who were less then honorable, I wont take my car to anyone but Dave. He is the best.

They have no idea how to fix timming belts. Dont take your car there, I end up taking my car to the dealer to fix the timming belt they had replaced after a week. And they would not give my money back, even though I brought the receipts from dealer stating timming belt was not replaced properly. So i paid him and paid dealer to fix their mistake. 🖓🖓🖓🖓🖓

Very honest and genuine small local auto mechanics shop! What makes this place so successful and shine in the community is they are small business yet they deliver what you never will get from big names, specially the crooks at Subauru Dealership. I took in my wifes 2006 Subaru Tribecca and the Subaru Dealership quoted me $1000 for repairing drivers seat as it was making noise when moving it backward or forward. We decided to take it to Dave and it cost us $75 to repair!!!!!! Subaru wanted to sell us the entire system under the seat which basically controls bunch if other things, but Ace auto being they are so honest and genuine they actually chose to repair the problem and not create more of them. I really appreciate to have them as my mechanics.

Just saw on the news this place leaves your keys in the car! Beware! One customer had his car stolen from their lot and driven 8,000 miles and was damaged badly! Why would a repair shop leave customers keys in the vehicle so it can be stolen from their lot?! Stay away from these incompetent morons they don’t care about your car getting stolen!

I called Dave after hours when my car broke down. He met me at his shop when I arrived with the tow truck, and even gave me a ride home since my car was out of commission! Even though the problem is beyond repair, I wont take my next car anywhere else! Not only is he an honest mechanic, he is a genuine guy.
