Fantastic shop in Tavistock, Devon which sells excellent quality food produce at competitive prices, including difficult to find items like John Ross dill sauce, Tiptree Little Scarlet, genuine white truffle oils and mince pies. Fresh vegetables and hampers. Online shopping is perfect, all beautifully packed. Ordered for delivery to Italy using a courier and parcel arrived in 5 days. Cannot recommend more highly this wonderful shop.

Love the ability to buy fresh, farm produce and unusual fruits and veggies that is not wrapped in plastic! Great dairy products and try out their veg/fruit delivery service. Cant wait for my next one. Check out the back rooms for products too, even sell hard to find Dartmoor Black dog gin. Thank you.

A great independent business. Roots and vines is a wonderful asset to Tavistock. Sent a hamper back to London with them and they loved the local produce. A pleasure to shop here honestly.

An excellent grocery store/delicatessen. The owners work their socks off to ensure their shop has a wide range of locally sourced fruit and vegetables as well as cheeses, cold meat, grains and pulses, local wines etc. They also stock unusual biscuits, sweet and savoury, and jars of e.g. olives, figs, olive oil etc. Need I say more? Theyll do presentation gift baskets too.

Not particularly helpful or friendly and quite expensive. Im giving one star because they have some good local products but they need to make more effort on the people side....shame.
