Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to go in person to shop, but I have shopped online using her well-maintained, user-friendly website. I have had such a great experience that I have now purchased from the online store several times. She stocks such a wide variety of delightful and whimsical items especially the great selection of candles. She also ships quickly and packages things well so they will not break in transit. And if something does happen to break in transit she provides super-fast and super friendly customer service via email. I will continue to make purchases from her in the future.

THEE most beautifully curated shop you will ever lay your eyes on. If youre wondering if you should drive from the cities to Excelsior for it- you absolutely absolutely should. Everything is stunning. Everything has such heart. Its so so beautiful. And theres something for everyone!

Golden rule is always a must stop when Im in the Excelsior area. Erin and her team curate a wide selection of unique independent goods. I especially love their art selection, wonderful wall of greeting cards for all occasions and their candle selection is amazing. Such a lovely local shop!

The chocolate is awesome and the staff is better. What stands out to me is how knowledgeable they are about the chocolate they sell. You should experience this store!

Love Golden Rule! It is a wonderful staple for Excelsior. You can find gifts for yourself or others in any price range. If you have the chance pop into the store do it - its so dreamy. I recently have purchased from Golden Rule online and the packaging and notes show how much care is put into Golden Rule.

BEAUTIFUL shop. I come to the Golden Rule for every gift and always find something unique, well-made, and beautiful. It is obvious that the owner and her staff are meticulous about the quality and design of everything the store. I have been exposed to many local artists through the Golden Rule and am happy to have their art in my home. Visit regularly and be prepared to find a treasure every time.

This shop is a gem! Like a carefully curated art museum but you can buy the art! Erin Kate is so intentional with what and who she brings in that I have no doubt what I am buying is high quality. The beauty of the shop is the personal relationships between everyone there, you are walking into Family. Beautiful jewelry to fit all styles, and options for personalizing. Stationary items, perfect for a back to school splash. Candles, soaps, scents and art for the home. And always the most fun, on trend clothes. I personally love the card selection, always spot on for what I need 👌 The love these people have for one another oozes out of the shop, if you are walking by please stop in, you won’t be sorry!

Cute store. They have an events space upstairs. A little pricey but the atmosphere is lovely and everything is so pretty.

Sadly, I did not get to stop in and shop while staying in Excelsior. The website was very impressive, and I had hoped to have time to stop in...will have to be sure to stop in the next time we visit the Minneapolis area!

This was a super cute shop that I visited in small business Saturday. There were time of fun little gift ideas. The store was packed, so that must be a great sign of the reputation of this place.

Interesting selection, clearly geared for female clientele, would be nice to see a better variety. Incredible range of pricing, mostly low end gifty type stuff with a few treasures mixed in.

My nieces first birthday was hosted here and it couldnt have been in a more beautiful space. Upstairs, above the shop there was plenty of room for guests to mingle with a kitchen space to prepare the hors doeuvres and coffee. Just wonderful.
