Great jewel. Jewel app is great. Good selection not too many people. Short checkout lines usually.

A somewhat updated Jewel with an ample beer and liquor area. I was surprised it does not have as many fruit/veggie options as my regular store. Lacking international items as well. Plenty of people without masks that give you the look for wearing one. (At time of visit, community transmission is HIGH in the county). Clean store and restrooms.

Every time I go to visit my sister who lives in Illinois, I have to go and pick up all my favorite items from Jewel. The things that we dont have here in Michigan. I worked and shopped at a Jewel store that was here in Michigan. The value of the products was always best and everything was always so fresh and above most other stores in my area. I always loved the Bakery, Deli, and Produce depts. I have my most favorite working memories thanks to Jewel. Memories of my co-workers and the wonderful people who would come to shop at our store. Jewel was my real 1st long term job that I had. When all of us who worked in the early morning hours to make sure everything would be fresh and ready for the day. Most of the mornings we would plan a time so we could take a break together. Almost every time when we took our breaks together, we would bring a loaf or two of warm bread just out of the oven. Then we would bring some butter to share. Those were Great times. Jewel was my favorite place that I have worked. To this day, I am still friends with most of my co-workers/friends from those early days when we worked together at Jewel. Im talking over 32 years ago. Unfortunately we have lost a few from our Jewel/Family group over the years, but we will never forget them or miss an opportunity to include the ones that are not here with us any longer. We always mention them or talk about something they had said or done. Every time I go to visit my sister. I always make it a point to go to Jewel with my sister to shop at Jewel. I always make sure to get a few extra fresh loaves of bread to bring back home. Then once I am back home and rest up for a bit. I start to call my dear ole friends, my coworkers from back in the day from Jewel so we can figure out a day, place, and time that works so we can all get together to share some bread together while we enjoy a chance to catch up with each others and how everyone is doing . I only have the best memories from working at Jewel, the management was very good to us and they really appreciated the work we did and our commitment to Jewel. I was able to meet so many great people from our community while working at Jewel. I am very grateful for my time working at Jewel. Jewel has been my most favorite place to work for.Thank you Jewel

My daughter ordered bday cake for her son 2nd bday party and image of what it was supposed to look like from order book and what the cake looked like for party. I did show photos of cake to bakery cake decorator and no one took responsibility for lack of frosting and design failure. The cake decorator i spoke to agreed that it was not decorated correctly and lack of frosting on cake and coloring was sprayed incorrectly and so forth. She gave me her business card and information to contact her for any cake orders in the future. The cake could not be corrected due to it was being served at party on oct 14, 2018 and cake was ordered oct 11th so no time to have a cake made correctly. This was the worse cake decorating job we have ever had done by jewel. Myself i usually go to Kathy at jewel on hwy 45 and 60 and always does an awesome job and my daughter usually has someone at a different jewel location but decided to order from jewel closer to my home. My daughter has said she will not do business at this bakery again. No, they did not offer any discount on bakery item or show any way to help bring back customer. My advice check up earlier in day to see if your cake is decorated correctly. In hopes they can fix it before the party that is if it is not decorated accordingly to your order.

This is a nice place to shop but the prices are higher kind of high you cant find a lot of selection of flavored coffee either you need to get more flavored coffee in there and they need to try and do better prices on like salads that are pre-made and the and the meat stew

This jewel is the very bestIts like shopping at the long gone dominics. Love the size, the lighting, the aisles, and the product selection. The customers who frequent there are really very nice too. The only jewel i willingly shop at.

I frequent this Jewel about 30% of the time I can say that the stor-it self is good items are good quality excetera and prices cant say that much for the pharmacy section. Its separated out now in a very awkward I still think one of the finest Jewels is on lake and 60near Vernon Hills.

Staff is very friendly and professional at store, always helpful. Deli counter staff is much nicer than other Mundelein Jewel.

Although some items we wanted were not in stock, it wasnt too crowded and was easy to find the things they did have in stock.

Jewell Osco on Maple avenue is one of my favorite Jewel-Osco stores in this area. They generally have everything I need, its clean and the clientele and checkers are always nice.

Produce department needs some serious help. On several occasions I found mold on produce. Now the Clementine season is in Im sure there will be times that I find rotten ones in the bag. I called the manufacturer on the label to find out how this could happen. They said it was because the produce was not cared for properly. Recently plum tomatoes were on sale and the selection was horrible. There were about 10 or 12 tomatoes that look like they have seen better days. Just be careful of what you buy at this Jewel Food Store. I would have expected a much higher quality from a major chain. Also handicap parking is very limited and when I approached the manager he said nothing I can do about it and walked away.

NOT FRIENDLY.Came in to get some 7up after a hard workout next door, only to be rudely greeted by Debbie. I said hello, but no answer. Whatever. She puts the 7up in the bag, but I tell her its not necessary. 7up is still in the bag. I gently remind her that I wont be needing a bag but she snaps at me. Stunned, I told her that I wasnt mad. I didnt raise my voice or yell.But she decided to respond to that by crumpling up my receipt and shoving it my face.What a nightmare. All because of a bag? Is there a plastic bag quota?All in all, highly unprofessional and quite an uncomfortable experience. At least snap back at someone if it was warranted.

Super bad tonigth, The Cashier was super rude, and push my groceries with both hands, she did not care if some of my food get damage she just push my food, and told me to keep my distance, when the other costumer was already paying and I was wearing a mask and keeping my distance, I go to that store at least two or three times a week,and that cashier Debbie ussually complains about being tired and I get it, because she is old but that is not reason for her to be like that

Very disappointed in the customer service, when you go to the customer service they treat you as though you are stupid instead of trying to help you. I think they should call customer no service. I personally would have liked to have no service. Even when another customer came the women behind the counter seemed very put out. I really think i will go to the jewel on lake st from now on even though i just live across the street.

Probably the nicest Jewel around. So much bigger than the Lake Street location across town, or the one in Libertyville, or Gurnee. Way nicer and cleaner than Waukegan too.

Store and produce are good. Baggers and cashiers need training. Kid bagging groceries put hot food on top of eggs in one bag and tomatoes at the bottom of another with heavy things on top. You shouldnt bag groceries if youve never bought them. Cashier started scanning the next persons groceries before mine were bagged. Then we had to figure out what groceries belonged to which person. Its like this every time we go to this location.

The man in the baby I was very helpful to help me find things that I need to look for so I think it was a good experience at this Jewel. I was doing my personal shopping job so Im glad that I found the stuff and I did better on my timing that I had to shop
