Two men and a truck is a very reasonable, most value spent and a reputable moving company to choose--no doubt!! These gentlemen done an amazing job especially during the heatwave we were having. It is the most physical job of demand to do. Moving overall takes a major toll on the body. And so, I am very grateful for the dedicated movers as swiftly they move. Our move was within our home. Hefting furniture pieces up and down stairs was too much for us. Two Men and a Truck sent two men who were outstanding. Uriel and Edward carefully and skillfully moved our furniture. They were polite, kind, and concerned that their work was completed to meet our needs. We were very thankful for their efforts. The office staff was easy to deal with when they set up the move. We were contacted when the team was on the way!! Eli, Sam and Terrance did a wonderful job on our move!! Great, friendly, professional movers! Other companies acted like they didnt want the job because my requested day was already booked. Two Men was booked but offered the next available time which I was more than willing to work around. They even worked much faster than quoted and actively took steps to keep the billed time down. Ill always call them instead of bugging friends from now on!

The driver and his helper in my case were superb. Loaded the truck efficiently and quickly. Justin and Jordan were the best. The packers were very nice, but moved slowly. Almost as if they were paid by the hour. Ive used other companies in the past and they packed quickly and efficiently. Again the packers were professional, but slow. I would recommend that if you use Two Men and a Truck that they come out to your house and give a realistic quote. You cannot quote effectively on the phone. I made my decision based on the quote and it was significantly higher than reality.

After my dad passed away. I paid $1400 to have a few pieces of furniture moved from his place to mine, which is about an hour and a half away. This price also included the disposal of a full sized bed and frame as well as a small table. When the movers arrived they said the disposal wasnt included and that the office wanted to charge me an extra $175 to dispose of the items. I called BS and since I had tipped each mover $20, they said theyd take care of it. They are the one and only reason Id ever consider using this company again

My mother was moving to an assisted living facility and was not able to pack any of her belongings. Danny and Soloman both arrived on time, problem solved the situation and recommended using the big boxes to move clothing and other non-breakable items. It made the move quicker, smoother and allowed us to leave to head to the new facility. When seniors move, there are a lot of unknowns and typically anxiety increases. The calm demeanor, attention and friendly personalities helped my mother feel calm and made the move to the new facility very pleasant. Thank you for all the hard work!

Follow-up email from Two Men and a Truck contained full list of items to be moved, terms and conditions, downpayment receipt, etc. Pre-move call came as stated to confirm date/time. The moving team was outstanding. They were friendly and expeditiously handled the move. They were 5-star professional and helped ensure a low cost. You cannot ask for better service.But, the management / office team needs to get their act together, from estimating to handling issues.I asked for two levels of service, moving and junk removal. It was unclear from the start that two separate teams would handle the two tasks. I was told the move would come first and then the crew would remove the junk afterward. The impression was it would be a single team. When I found out that a different crew would handle the junk removal, it came from the move manager, who clearly stated junk removal would be later in the day, by a different team, at 4pm.But thats not what happened. By 4:05 I called the two-men office and explained that I was promised a junk team would be at my place at 4pm, she disagreed, stating they cannot commit to a time. Nor could she guestimate what time they would be there.By 4:30 I decided to call up the office again, looking to cancel the service, no one answered my calls. There were multiple. So, I decided to call another junk removal company, scheduled a pickup for the next day, and about 5 minutes to 5pm I got a call from the junk crew, stating they were running late.The junk crew did their job and did it well, no problems. They also showed a concern for cost.I give this experience low stars, all because of the office team.Would I use them again, most likely not.

Claims to be a great value but quoted me it be $10,000 to move. What a rip-off

Eli and Jose were at the house right on time after calling ahead to let us know the were 10 minutes away which we really appreciated the heads up. They were very courteous and professional. They took great care in moving our items and did so very quickly and smoothly and we had several very ;arge heavy items too. They completed the move well within the original estimated time frame and they final bill was adjusted to show the actual time. We will definitely use them again and refer them to our friends and family. Thank you Nick for all of your help and response.

I had a great crew who helped us move. They called us the day before to confirm. And then the morning of to advise exactly when they would be there. This moving company is awesome. The management team was constantly checking in to make sure I was satisfied with my services, the movers Miguel and Eric were beyond amazing oh, and went above and beyond my expectations. They made my move stress free and would hire them both again in a heartbeat. I ended up paying less than my quote, which was a nice surprise in the end. The only complaint I have, was with the girls in the office, who need some additional training, otherwise I would have given a five star review. I was really pleased with the excellent service from Francisco M. and Alonzo F. They arrived early, wrapped and secured our furnishings and worked efficiently. They were very polite and helpful. They did not waste any time and ensured that no item was left behind. They explained the estimate clearly.The new location was a difficult 3rd story apartment with no elevator. They brought all items in exactly where I wanted them without a scratch. They were able to complete the move within the minimum hours saving me money. I highly recommend this mover, especially, Francisco and Alonzo!

Two Men a Truck moved my furniture this past Monday. Jack, Randy, and John did a great job making sure that all of my furniture was carefully wrapped and transported. They were careful of the recently done floors and helped to put felt under all pieces that would come into contact with the floor. The office checked in several times during and after the move and made sure I was completely satisfied with the move.

My experience with Two Men and a Truck in a word: disappointing. The movers were not equipped to handle what was required of them, lacking skill, efficiency, and the proper equipment. I had hired the company to move a bed, dresser, couch, home gym, and treadmill. I ended up having to move the treadmill myself, after being told it was too hard to deconstruct by the movers. Whats more, the movers while moving my home gym left a ten-and-a-half foot gouge in my new flooring—see the attached photos. Since reporting this incident, Ive received inconsistent service with the office/administrative staff. This includes my claim information not being passed along from the movers or relayed to the individuals who are supposedly tasked with the repair. Im now left with what will most likely be weeks of repairs and shifting of furniture to handle their ineptitude. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you require moving services.

We used Two men and a truck to move out of our house and into storage, we just used them to move into the new house. Once again the movers were excellent. Keith, Jacob and Luis were very efficient and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them to everyone.

We hired 2 Men & A Truck to move my parents furniture our of their rental unit. It was a complicated move, with three different destinations for all of the belongings. Steve, Marcell and William did a great job of keeping everything straight, about what items were to go to what destination. They were friendly and easy to work with. We also received several calls from the company throughout the process, ensuring that we were happy with their services.

My movers were great. Total Pros., but damaged happened to furniture during transit. I understand this happens. But, 2 Men and Truck corp. managers did little to replace or pay for repairs to damaged items. I would not recommend 2 Men and a Truck to anyone. Mike P, Antioch, IL

The Mundelein, Il team went so far above and beyond any expectation I had.The quoting and booking of the moving service was seamless and stress free. On the day of the move, they kept me informed on the status of when the drivers would arrive. The movers were careful, efficient, and very friendly. With all of this, I still would have provided a 5 star review, but where this team truly stood out was after the packing was complete. I happened to slip and fall after they had pulled away. The team could have kept driving to make it to their destination that night, instead, they turned around and helped me in my time of need. They charge by the hour, but come with only manual hand tools to break apart and assemble furniture. No power tools. So, time taken is at least double what one would normally take with power tools.

I had recently moved from a one bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom apartment in the same development. The CSRs are great. I had an added bonus, my guys had a person training. Christian, Albert and Bryan were outstanding. They were very friendly, professional and fast. They estimated my move to be 4.5 hours. It ended up being less than 2 hours! Whats great about this company, you do not get nickeled and timed. The shrink wrap and blankets are all included. I would definitely hire Two Men and a Truck again.

Not only was everything moved without any breakage but they made excellent suggestions as to furniture placement (we hadnt had time to map that out in advance). They were fast, no wasted time, and got us moved faster than expected. They were the friendliest professionals Ive dealt with in a long time, acting like family only better. Overall it was a delightful experience under stressful conditions. Although we only had these two, we expect they are the best. Although dealing with the support staff on the phone before and after was also outstanding, so maybe it happens that weve discovered a standout firm.I should mention we were referred to this firm by a niece who had used them for her move and she had been delighted as well. Moved yesterday with the help of Jack and Albert from the Mundelein office. The move couldnt have gone more smoothly and Jack and Al were awesome. Worked hard all day long and not a scratch on anything. Not only that but they were nice guys to boot. Price was great too! Highly recommended.

I requested a crew that knew how to move a sleep number bed - the crew they sent was completely inexperienced which resulted in breaking the bed. I have left voice mail messages with the Mundelein franchise and so far they have not called me back. I could go on but I would suggest using any other franchise, just not the Mundelein one.

Two men and a truck came to our residence and gave us an estimate on what size of vehicle would be needed for our move. We were combining 2 homes and moving into one. The day of the move the driver walks in and says to us, there is no way just this one homes stuff is going to fit into the truck. We were told by Nick S that only one truck would be needed when he gave the estimate, and Nick S even told my boyfriend that he didnt need to go see the other home to visually see what else needed to be moved out. The mover then called his supervisor who told him sorry we dont have anybody available. We were told we should rent a U-Haul and move things on our own because they didnt have anybody available. That was our only option. I was in shock that we were even in this situation after hiring Two Men and a Truck and given that we were told one truck would be ample. I felt as though I got a big oh well from Two Men and a Truck. They even came to assess our property to ensure we had ample space to move our items. We were devastated that Two Men and a Truck was not going to step up when we had scheduled them for our move. We had sold both of our homes and had to be out that day and had no choice but to try to move as much as possible. We rented 2 U-hauls on our own. We are both almost 60 years of age and were forced by no choice of our own to move the majority of our homes. We ended up NOT being out of one of the residences on time and had buyers doing a walk through while we were still moving things. My poor boyfriend had such bad hip pain it hurt me to watch him still working because we didnt have a choice but to do so. That broke my heart. I was embarrassed that we were scrambling to get the rest of our items on the truck while the buyers of our home were walking through their new purchase. A few days later Two men and a truck called to see how my experience was and left a v/m. I have been trying to get them to return my phone calls for 2 days leaving numerous messages and still no response. Our happy time of starting a new life together turned into such a nightmare. If I could rate them zero stars I would. SO SAD!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO TERRIBLY BY A BUSINESS IN MY LIFE, LIKE A DISPOSABLE CUSTOMER. I WAS IN TEARS AND EXHAUSTED FROM THE WHOLE ORDEAL. SEEMS LIKE THEY DONT CARE. THEY DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM TAKING OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. THATS HOW I FEEL ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE.To follow up - Nick S from Two Men and a Truck has finally contacted us after seeing the review I had posted on Google and offered to pay us for our time/pain in moving ourselves and for our rental truck if I removed this review. We did request the rental truck reimbursement and our time moving things, and time for returning the rental trucks (4 hours total driving) because they were not local truck returns. Those are the only trucks available on the day we were in desperate need of them. The total requested was $1500 for all we had gone through. Two Men and a Truck declined to further discuss and did not want to give us the $1500. Dont call customer service, they are not helpful, in my opinion, what-so-ever. Customer service seemed very one-sided. I am very hurt by this whole ordeal and the companys attitude, and consider this a big company who doesnt care. And from the comment below from two men and a truck. My text said I was satisfied because we were promised reimbursement for our time and truck rentals and help unloading the trucks we rented. We NEVER received any compensation and they did send a couple extra younger people who only stayed a short time. They proceeded to then ask for my credit card again. MOVER BEWARE

Crew was very courteous and worked fairly quickly. We moved to a house and also moved items to a self storage. The freezer was mistakenly put on the wrong truck and put away in self storage, so we lost 2 crew member for approx an hour to go back and retrieve the freezer and bring it to the house. A manager is reviewing this mistake to see about reconciliation, so I will update this review after the outcome.Other negative was travel time is paid at the full hourly rate. But the Crew was hardworking and had a positive attitude. Would consider using for my next move, but I would also look to check out other moving company options.

Had to overhear the movers complaining in our house while they moved our stuff and saying inappropriate comments. After being confronted about it, it was much better. Then they forgot to drop off our clothes at the new house so they’re still on the truck or at another clients home. We are now starting the work week in a new house and have to go buy clothes to get us by since they lost $1000’s worth of clothes that we will probably not get back now.

Movers were showed up exactly on time and worked until all items were moved. They even helped with items that came up during the movie g process that were unplanned. Ive used 2 men on two other occassion and have always been pleased with the service. This crew was particularly good.

Just discussing customer service here. I was calling to get estimates to move my late fathers furniture to our homes. I had already called 2 other movers who nicely asked my name and then gave me a quote. This company wouldnt even talk to me unless I gave out my phone number, email address and I stopped there. No need for them to have my particulars just to give me a quote. To make it worse, when I said I didnt want to give my info, the customer rep let out an exasperated oh boy which I found very inappropriate. No way will they get my business.

Needed to move a fridge into the basement. After removing doors fridge was 29 1/2D x 35 3/8W. The door opening was 29 1/2D, dropping onto a platform 8” lower and going back only 35” surrounded by tight wall space. I knew it was possible but only probable if the fridge could enter space by about 33” and then turn in the air before resting on platform and working it’s way downstairs. Fridge weights 375lbs. I called Lorena and requested 3 Warriors. After popping off trim bought us a 1/2” in opening and resting a square dolly on platform over blankets to prevent damage to my wood staircase, Malcom (“in the middle”), Brian and Strong Terrell Wilson successfully moved this large fridge through our tight space without damaging my house. These 3 men are Bionic. They are Gladiators. I called 2 top rated moving companies in the Chicagoland area, both said it was NOT possible. 2-Men proved them wrong! Thanks guys!

Miguel and Jose were professional, courteous and did a great job moving office furniture and equipment; they really knew what they were doing and did a great job!

TERRIBLE DECEPTIVE THIEVES. Took 9 hours to move a one bedroom apartment and told to pay for 11 hours with no logical reasoning. They were moving my girlfriend who is a single mom. Apparently they view single moms as targets of victimization. When they were done she disagreed with the bill and they said that she not leave until she paid, so she called the police and was eventually allowed to leave under the understanding that she would call the next day and dispute the bill as it was after business hours. Woke up in the morning to find they used the debit card that was given to set up the move and charged it for $950.00 without permission while the final bill was still under dispute. There was a bed, a dresser, a 3 seater couch, and 10 boxes and should have taken like 4 hours. Stay Away from this Mundelein location.

Ive used Two Men and a Truck for 3 moves now. Both were seamless. Workers were polite, friendly, compotent, and efficient. Also helpful with questions.

Too expensive. Online ads said $90/hr, but I called and was told more. Plus they charge from the time they leave the shop to the time they return. I found a company for $80/hour +$100 truck charge. Clock started when they began loading the truck and ended when the truck was empty. 2 men, a truck, 3 hours for $340. Not a scratch!

We had an excellent customer service experience with Catrice, who handled the quote, scheduling, and follow up communication of our move. Our movers in the Schaumburg area, Aaron and Edward were on time, and very professional. They treated our items with the utmost of care, moved us very efficiently, and were very nice gentlemen to deal with during both our move out and move in to our new apartment. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will use them again in the future for our next move.

We hired Two Man and a Truck from Mundelein, we had Lance and Erik as the movers, they were on time, courteous, completed within the time estimated. The service is great!

I have to say Ive used Two Men and a Truck in the past and had no problem. This is my problem, Your told to participate in there insurance plan $$. Ok you think well if something happens you have insurance. Well something did happen. My cordless vacuum damage, ask the guys about it and are told multiple excuses. Management dont care. In the end sorry we are not covering that because.... ect. Why buy the insurance? Very disappointed in this company and the People that work there. Corporate needs to clean house.
