Love this store! It’s a nice little drive out from where we live but it’s worth it if you want quality groceries.

I get aggravated with them always being out of everything we want. The only good part of my shopping experience tonight was Jacob in the dairy department. He asked if we needed any help and answered a bunch of my questions. First time getting such great service. Kudos to this young man.

Food prices are extremely high ..meat prices has sky rocket . Chicken thighs 4 pack $4.50 .just about everything in the store prices has been raised..ground beef and pork has double in price ..just about everything on the shelf in the store is about $2 to $3.50... any box of cereal $4.99 a box..Im going vegetarian..i cant afford to spend $50 to $100 for a whole bunch of nothing when u get home.Easily a family of 3 to 4 gone spend on groceries in stracks is $100 per person in family and that might be every 2 weeks..expensive! Sams club or Costco is your best bet.

Thry have everything at this store. I love the fresh vegetables and organics. The rotisserie chickens are very good.

Lines were really long. Cashier was nice. I suggest putting signs up that tell customers that when the number light is OFF at the register, that means the lane is closed. It baffles me that people cant grasp that concept. This isnt new.

It was cool the staff wasnt the friendliest where they had a lot of stuff in stock

Overall Ive shopped here for 15 years never had a problem with anything employees are very friendly willing to help stores organized clean and ran very well

Very good grocery store. They carry a wide variety of food. Very clean and store clerks are very nice and helpful.

A true cross between the old and the new all the best from the old and some of the new hopefully these kind of stores will be around for a long time

I would give it mor stars but not after the rude service I received today . I had to do two separate orders, and the cashier was extremely rude about it. she tried to rush me through everything on the second order, I told her I needed two large bags of ice and she got all flustered about it. Then stuffed my receipt in my hand and basically dismissed me. I get that its Saturday and its busy, but thats not an excuse for poor customer service

HiWant to thank staff for there empathy on a handicap customer especially when their busy.Products are awesome prices up and down but sales are great.Your flowers are the best thank staff for that very well taken care off.Seafood and deli is very good and tasty.No other place I like to shop at.Only one issue your mobile carts need maintence and show the full charge they die out and have to call some one to bring another. Some dont show if fully charged. I shop and spend 50 or more but the mobile cart are not working well I check out.. and do not finish my list.

Good variety of cheeses, they actually had what we were looking for. Nice meat and seafood selections. Large produce section. Good deli.

The only bad thing is that this Stracks isnt closer to my house. Very clean store & even has a fresh sushi bar. Friendly & helpful associates that ask you if you need help. Very nice shopping experience overall

😍Just love the novelty of Strack & Van Til. Friendly and helpful staff. Still have brown paper shopping bags and help to your car without asking. Always fully stocked. Bakery always on point. The personnel is as sweet as the baked goods. Clean and airy atmosphere. Kudos. If theres something you need and dont see it just ask and they will gladly accommodate you.

Nice clean store just hard to get anything from the deli they dont seem to have set hours. I go at 9 pm and they are closed because of bad weather i go a few days later at 8 pm and they are closed because the girl said shes there alone and today and she has to start cleaning early. So if i need anything from the deli I go somewhere else to shop. Also none of the people can cut lunch meat thin . they used to be great. But the people working there now go in the back and hide if they see you walking up. So tired of going to service desk to ask if they are still open.

The Munster store is a complete mess. Change in systems overnight didnt go well. Only a few cashier lanes open. Wanted in line nearly 15 minutes.Asked for paper bags. Picture attached is after I barely made it to the car. Half gallon of milk half gallon of OJ plus a frozen dinner in one single bag.

Hadnt been to this location before. Friendly, courteous staff...clean, accessible aisles and shelves...bright, vibrant, tasty looking meats and produce...short checkout lines with full and self service options...this will be my new supermarket of choice

Normally I do my grocery shopping here..and some are there prices are higher than other stores..Im sure it depends on what you are shopping for..

Ordered a cooked meal from seafood counter. It came with a piece of fish and shrimp, fries, Cole slaw and seafood sauce. Fish and shrimp were over cooked, he forgot to cook my fries. Now my food is cold. He needed some help because there was a long line.

Customer service was good plenty of items to choose from prices were reasonable due to Covid-19 there were limits on how many people could be in the store.

Great variety of fresh vegetables, herbs, fruits. An abundant amount of cheese and meat selections. The deli counter has a lot of variety; unfortunately their deli staff would rather chat with each other than take care of customers. 15 people waiting/6 staff/4 yapping. Id fire them all. I would have complained there, but the check out lady was so nice, she overrode the words I had with the deli lady dont snip at me...I didnt make you come to work today. She was nicer (but no faster) after that exchange. MGMT needs to watch more here.

The store is always clean, and well stocked. We found a good sale on sea food and other meats. I would say they need more training for their baggers. I always watch what is being rung up and cant watch the bagger too. I prefer paper bags, why would you pack 10 packages of meat in 1 bag and jugs of orange juice and ice tea 4 in total in 1 bag. I could not lift the bags nor carry them into my house without removing items from the bags. Please train your staff on proper distribution of weight when bagging, think of the senior citizens.

PRICES ARE TOO HIGH AND YOU HAVE TO STAND IN LINE FOREVER, THEY NEED MORE CASHIERS.

Every few months I order a floral arrangement from Marlene and the results are jaw dropping. She is an absolute artist and puts together the most incredible arrangements. The flowers last for weeks and the entire house smells like fresh cut flowers. She is always so kind and a pleasure to work with. She really should open her own flower shop because her arrangements are better than any I have seen from other shops. The best!

Nice store and products.

I love the meat and seafood sales at stracks. Freshly cut and packaged porterhouse today, the prawns looked awesome. Cant wait to grill them. They had skirt streaks on sales which will end up being fajitas. Slightly thicker then aracherra meat. Johnsonville brats and Wagner ribs. Tomorrow labor day the grill is going to have a workout. Also plenty of fresh garden vegetables on the grill too.

This store has changed.

They had what I needed, easy to follow signs, some of the items were a bit more expensive, and some of the items (produce mainly) looked like they had seen better days, lots of bruises. The meats were priced well, but some of the packaging was rough and looked broken open.Mostly though, I go back here constantly and would recommend going here. MAKE SURE TO GET THEIR APP! It can save you on a lot of items throughout the store as you build up points!

Store was nice. Was a bit packed at the time and a little unkept. However it was a day or two before Christmas so there is that to consider. Only had one staff member that was less than festive. Again probably burned out. Stracks is my favorite grocery store of all in the area.

Thank you to the male manager that was working Christmas Eve at check-out #7 around 5:30ish. Thank you for telling a customer to wear a mask!Two customers, a male and female roamed the store without a mask. I saw other staff requesting they use a face covering while the dumb male customer flashed a fake Im exempt card. Just dumb!Thank you manager for protecting yourself, your staff, and your customers.

I love Stracks. Have always loved Stracks. This the first time I have shopped at the Munster location since the pandemic. Still great. Found everything I needed and was in and out in 15 minutes at 4:15 on a Thursday.

Clean, easily accessible. Even though it was the day before Thanksgiving they still had a lot of items stocked. Except for unsalted butter which they had on sale and spices.

With the new self service registers, it makes the visit more tolerable since you dont have to wait line for slow, rude workers.

Need more cashiers for the holidays and I asked them to order me some dye never came in

Its a pleasant place to shop. You are greeted by a person that is there to help you get a cart not make you wait to enter the store like Walmart. You will not find a line to get into this store. The only downside I found was that prices were generally a little more than the big box store. Store employees were easy to find including managers.

Omg I’m so disappointedThis w as my absolute favorite grocery store and I’m a General Manager at a hotel and I tell all my guest to go to this grocery store but not again. I bought fruit from there a few days ago and the lemons and limes were brown inside and other fruit was no good. I also bought some turkey lunchmeat and it was slimy. I’m so mad. I work hard for my money and don’t like to waste it.
