James at J & J Marine saved our vacation (we travel to KY from Denver, Co each summer for a skiing/boating vacation on the Blood River arm of KY Lake)! James took the time to correctly diagnose why our ’94 Ski Nautique wasn’t running correctly (I had initially assumed that I had picked up a tank of bad gas); however, there turned out to be no water in our fuel system; rather, the culprit was a failed needle and seat in the Holley carburetor. James then used his resources to get the carburetor rebuilt and had us back on the water in no time—we took it in on Tuesday morning and James had us back on the lake the next day! I can’t say enough about James and the service that he provided—he went out of his way to help us with a problem that had the potential to keep us off the water for many days. The work, the price, the entire experience was “top notch.”
