STUDENTS PLEASE BE WARNED. the food and drinks are great, peach smoothie is to die for. but i came here to do some homework and i seriously can’t get ANYTHING done because the wifi is that bad. nothing will load at all. i thought it was just an issue with my laptop, but my phone was just as slow. i’ll be going to third eye grind from now on thank yew

I love this place. A HUGE staple in Murray, KY. The coffee is always perfect. I look forward to going there even if I’m just in the drive through. It makes me feel so good when I drink their coffee. I know the management cares about this business and it shows. Thank you for always making my days better. What wonderful place.

Their Macchiato is better than in SB!! I bought pastry, and ssrdough wheat bread..Definitely going back. My new found place. I wish they have parking for truckers! People inside are pretty good and smiling.. 😊 highly recommended.

My fav coffee shop in murray

The coffee that I ordered was good, but I also ordered 2 cheese danishes, and they were small, and they were heated up in a microwave which made them rubbery. Each danish was $3.50, I could have bought a pack of them at Walmart for less!

I love future grounds and it is usually my choice place for coffee. But because of covid, I wish they would follow suit with alot of places and have a walk up window. With it being warmer I dont like to take my car everywhere if I can reasonably walk there.

The coffee is not quite as good as Starbucks and the price is just as expensive. They use outdated payment methods that declined 2 cards that had plenty on them but, still charged them over $34 Then they finally accepted a cc that we do not normally use. Only giving 2 stars because the money was refunded back into the accounts 15 minutes after we left. Also the employee at the drive thru gave us an attitude and funny looks while saying our cards were declined not only were they lacking quality but, they need to update their payment method to something that wont cause embarrassing situations like this. Square card readers are for garage sales act like a real business!!!!

Nice Coffee Shop with plenty of sunlight makes a nice Atmosphere. Drive-Tru and a Friendly staff makes this a quick stop. The Patio with Heated Lamp posts and Umbrellas is a nice place to set in all weather. The parking lot is like a backyard with a view of MSU. They have a wide selection of products and a clean place.

Love this place, come here all the time. Just wish theyd stay open later. Try the iced chai latte.

The BEST COFFEE IN MURRAY. Best quality. BEST AND FRIENDLIEST STAFF. They can make anything you can think up, and their selection is already diverse and delicious. SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY STARBUCKS WILL EVER BE. If they mess up your order, or even if you simply dont like it, they will remake it for free!! I buy their bagged coffee beans and grind at home for my daily coffee, it is amazing! They are locally owned and operated and are probably one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to

It is on the more costly side but it is well worth it. The employees are very welcoming and if you are not sure what to get they have been happy to help. The coffee itself is my most favorite coffee that I can get on the go

I was there at 3:00 Sunday afternoon and the service was good. They have magazines and other stuff to look at while there. BTW the white turtle was very good. :-)

We are visiting from out of town and have stopped in twice now for a cup of fresh coffee. The employees are quickly, very friendly, and the store is squeaky clean.Having grown accustomed to pricey coffee in California, I was pleasantly surprised to see they are very reasonably priced. They also carry almond and coconut milk options. There’s a small selection of baked goods and fruit. The chocolate muffin was really good. I imagine it’s baked somewhere nearby because it wasn’t packaged and it tasted fresh.There is a drive-thru options but we haven’t used it yet.Definitely recommended and we look forward to future visits!

A great local option for coffee and the like. Service isnt always the quickest, but I dont mind waiting for a quality product. Yes, the prices are slightly higher than chain restaurants -- this is a fact of survival for any local business. I would suggest some minor upkeep to the owners: fixtures are beginning to show their age, update dishes and mugs to be uniform (or at least add branding to make them look more official) and make sure employees have the tools and time they need to make sure things are stocked, clean and tidy. Overall, Im happy with Future Grounds.

My husband and I frequent their drive through for coffee in the morning and have always been satisfied with their iced and hot drinks and the quickness of the service. They also have a clean patio for working or sitting in nice weather and a homey café interior. The staff are friendly and they also sell their own beans for brewing at home.

Two bad experiences in a row. Have been left sitting at the order speaker twice, now, while every car in front of mine went through and left. Watched customer after customer, most lined up into the street, drive away in frustration. Staff have never explained the excessive delays. The coffee served was mediocre at best. Owner needs to make some hard decisions about products and service.

The coffee is amazing. They behave amazing with their customers. But I wish they add lactose free milk. Also I suggest to add ice cream to their menu too.

Almost always the morning crew gets everything right. On the flip side, my wife & I have had lots of issues getting correct orders in the past 6 months from the late evening crew. Overall good place though as we keep going back when we can. Also of note, they are VERY pricey. Large hot mocha with single shot espresso last night was over $6 tax & all!!! And the ones i make at the house for about $0.75 are much better. :-/

Ive been a regular customer for several years now. Everything is sooo good! I have had it all. They offer healthy milk substitutions like organic, soy, and almond milk. Lots of sweet treats or sandwich options. Smoothies, teas, coffee, and espresso plus more you can find here. The best coffee shop in Murray! Oh and the service is excellent!

Visiting Murray on a cold, rainy Saturday. Thought we would stop in and grab a coffee and a sweet treat. Upon entering, I looked in the desserts case and saw yummy looking muffins AND a fly flying around in the case, landing on top of the muffins. If I saw the fly, you know the workers had to see this as well. It appeared to be a young staff that was employed and rightfully so, being a college town but this could really be a health hazard. Made me think twice on ordering anything there.

Probably the best coffee in town. Beats duncans and any other place that serves coffee Im Murray. They are quick and reasonably priced. I recommend.

Best frozen blended chai ever!

I came in, stood in line for a good three minutes before I was greeted. The younger lady was nice but the older lady was rude I kept saying “excuse me.” I KNOW she heard me I was right in front of her and I said it a good five times.Which she totally ignored me and proceeded to talk to another guest I stood there for a while hoping to get my question answered but they seemed to not want my business so I went elsewhere. I was disappointed because this was very close to campus and I was cravingggg a smoothie!

Love the options to have options that are made with almond milk and sugar free without losing any flavor. Yummy 😋

Service can be more personal, and inviting. Not consistent. Slow service during busy times. Dont go when youre short on time.

These girls were very busy during my visit, still, I was in and out within 5 minutes, and enjoyed my frosted coffee cooler immensely!

Coffee is good and service is friendly. Only issue I ever have to speed of service. They do not have enough machines to handle multiple orders. Its one at a time, regardless of drive thru or dine in. If you arent the only customer, expect a 10 minute or more wait.

I love Future Grounds! Their espresso is the best around Murray and very reasonably priced.

I hate to write this review because I do love Future Grounds. Three times now I’ve ordered a soy Chai latte and I drive off and take a sip and find that I did not get a what I ordered. This is very upsetting to me. I ignored it the first 2 times. I know I could smell or sip the coffee before I drive off. But I don’t feel like I should have to. I hope this is something that doesn’t happen anymore. I would like for Future Grounds to continue to be my fav place to go. But I don’t enjoy get the wrong order this often.

Best coffee in murray Kentucky

I used to enjoy getting my coffee from Future Grounds, but the last 4 or 5 visits have been a disappointment and a waste of money. The last time I went, I ordered an iced americano and was given an iced Macchiato. Not wanting to be “difficult”, I decided to keep my drink. I took a sip and I didn’t taste any espresso, at all - just half and half and sugar. When I kindly asked for more espresso, they tried to tell me that’s the way macchiatos are supposed to be made. I persisted and they reluctantly decided to put more espresso in my drink (not without expressing their annoyance and frustration with me). This is where it gets bad for a coffee-enthusiast such as myself. They pulled out a plastic karafe of pre-made espresso from a cooler and poured it into my drink. Espresso drinks are meant to be made with fresh espresso poured over ice.The handful of times before that and this most recent visit, the americanos were so watered down that I didn’t drink them. It was like drinking an iced coffee after all the ice had melted in the drink. I won’t be coming back here. It’s a shame because there aren’t any other drive-through coffee places in Murray. I’d rather take my chances with McCafe.

Driving thru from Florida, googled coffee shops and found this awesome place!

Have been coming here since it opened. Now it takes way to long. The weekend employees would rather talk than do their job. Order has been wrong half the time. So you have to go back a 2nd time to get correct order. Dont go during weekends. It is awful.

Future frowns:I’ve been going here since it was Fidalgo Bay. I’ll tell you what’s changed-Unhappy and snooty staff that has a major disconnection of even the most common coffee practices there are.Americanos are not stale cold brew with water - an americano is espresso (fresh) with your desired temp water.When you ask for a simple americano, you dont charge someone 6.00 for a macchiato made with half&half and bleached sugar.Seriously the last time I go here and strongly encourage you do follow suit.
