I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like it would be a disservice to others not to. I made an appointment and got a confirmation email that stated both homeowners must be present. I called to confirm I could do the estimate without my husband there and the girl said that was fine. Then the morning of the appointment I got a text asking if I wanted to reschedule for a time my husband and I could both be there. I explained we were only interested in a quote at this point so it wouldn’t be necessary. They agreed. Then I get a call from the estimate guy informing me he’s running behind by 1 1/2 hours! After reading other reviews this seems to be a pattern. Long story short it’s almost like they don’t want business. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and needless to say I won’t be rescheduling.

We had a great experience with Granite Transformation. We had an amazing crew (Emmanuel, Dani, Danny were the 3 that were there the most) that did great work and were all very respectful of our family as well as our house. They cleaned up every night and always made sure the work area was safe since we have little kids in the house. They were really good about letting me know what was going on, good or bad, and were good about talking things through with me when I had concerns or questions. A few things took longer than we anticipated but thats just what happens with home projects. We LOVE how our kitchen turned out and are excited to enjoy it for many years to come!

I had a less than great install...It happens. It happens to all trades. Simple mistake...Steve, the owner, came out and over saw the fix. That is the difference. I don’t love five star reviews but they earned it. Alex in the office was kind and understanding, and the field installer was clean and friendly. A solid company. You can see from my photos I was hyper picky. It looks perfect now. I have had them come back for additional projects since the first. The counters look great

I called to have a price quote given to me over the phone or through measurement and photos as I have been doing with multiple other companies. Granite Transformations insisted that they must come out to my house for a price quote and that my husband must be home. Weird but okay... The man that was sent to my house to give me a price quote was incredibly rude. He told me, “I don’t want to waste my time so if you aren’t willing to spend $4,000 then there’s no way.” He actually, literally said that. So let me save a bunch of people a bunch of time. Their countertop overlays start at $4,000 and they are months out. I would not ever recommend this company to anyone based upon this interaction today.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but from start to finish this company was great to work with and I think others should know. Grant was not a pushy sales person but he gave us excellent design ideas that inspired us to want to spend the money to renovate because we saw the potential of what it could be. Sary went above and beyond to keep us updated on the progress and to ensure a good customer service experience. The finished work was of good quality. I love my new renovated kitchen! I would completely recommend granite transformations to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen.

I set up a consultation 2 weeks out. I got a call from the consultant he was running late by an hour and a half and that someone was going call me. I never got the call. I called them and said they were going to speak with the consultant and get back with me. No callback. Horrible service!!!

Life time warranty means nothing for this company and owner. A lot of promises to repair or replace and no actions. Owner came to look at the crack in counter top, said he would be back in the am to repair the cracks with epoxy. He Never showed up or called. Several calls in to company got no responses. Finally filed a complaint with BBB and Consumer Protection to get counter replace or repair. Waiting to see if counter cracks again for the third time. A waste of time and money.

Granite Transformation functioned as general contractor on our recent house remodel. The process was well organized from start to finish and completed on schedule! All of the installers were highly skilled and competent. The result is a beautiful transformation of our home completed with minimal stress! Thank you, Steve, Sary and the rest of the crew!

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced. The new doors, hardware, and drawers look very nice. However the veneer that is placed over the existing cabinet boxes is very disappointing. Rather than being one smooth piece, it is cut from a large sheet of veneer and pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle. They do their best to hide the seams and you dont see many when the doors are closed, but when you open the doors there are several seems visible on each side of the cabinet box. Worst of all, three pieces of veneer came off within a few months. It is only glued on. It was difficult to get them back to reglue it even though it was under warranty. I was told several times I just had to wait until an installer was in the area and finished early with another project. It wasnt until I emailed our salesman directly that I got an appointment to get it fixed. Sadly, more veneer is coming off again. The glue is apparently moisture sensitive so the steam from cooking on the stovetop just steams it right off. Paid $9000 for a medium sized kitchen, and I wish I had saved the money for replacing the cabinets. Do not recommend refacing with veneer.

I was very nervous as had a bad experience with other house project. Not only did they show up and do everything as promised, the quality was even better than expected. Had new cabinet door fronts installed, match perfectly and look beautiful. They installed a sink and range hood and had to problem solve as it is a 100 yo house, but did so while maintaining the structure and character of my home. Cleaned up each day and kept kitchen functional throughout. Nice to reassure me during my nervous moments, and very flexible with schedule. Definitely reccommend.

I have had such a good experience with this company! I was only out of my kitchen for 1 DAY! They are very professional, very efficient, and you cannot beat their prices. If you’re looking for someone to redo your kitchen, the hunt stops here. Book your consultation! You won’t regret it!

Product is great and the installers do a great job!The salesman was excellent in the way he explained the product and was straightforward. But my appointment was rescheduled two times and then on the day of install it was again adjusted twice. The installers we sent to other jobs first and I was not notified of the changes until I called. Ended up pushing my appt back 6 hours.

Want to say that Marcello did an excellent job of repair to the surface cracks in my shower. Very professional and thorough.Even found an additional gap that needed repair.Thanks Marcello.

I was a master installer for Granite Transformations out of Long Beach CA for just under ten years. I am certified through the corporate office, ran my own crew, and trained the people who worked under me.After my own personal experience with this Granite Transformation franchise, I would not recommend them. One star is too much. This is my personal and professional opinion.

Granite Transformations did a great job with my multiple bathroom remodel!! Initially, I thought they could just remodel counter tops and showers, but I quickly discovered they do it ALL. It was truly a pain free process and I LOVE how our bathrooms look. During our initial consultation Steve Riley (owner) brought in samples of granite, cabinet doors, and tile flooring and we chose our products that day!! Due to their great selection and I was able to visualize the remodel and see how everything would coordinate without having to go to multiple stores and bring samples home. The work crew did a great job protecting my personal belongings and floors and remained very professional throughout the remodel. Additionally, they paid special attention to detail and consistently asked me to inform them if something did not meet my expectations. We are very pleased with the quality and will continue to use GT for future remodels.

Granite Transformations did quite a large remodel on our home. Kitchen counters, cabinet refacing, tile on our entire main level, and remodel of 2 bathrooms. The entire experience from start to finish was excellent! We were referred to them by our next door neighbors who also had a wonderful experience, and nothing but good things to say about them. We were wary because of the horror stories you hear about contractors not showing up, not completing jobs, etc., but Granite Transformations proved themselves over and over. They are courteous, on time, and their work is exceptional! Very meticulous and beautiful! Their products are fantastic! We LOVE our countertops!! Steve Riley is awesome, and so easy to work with. He really knows his products, and has great ideas and suggestions. I cant say enough good things about this company. You cant go wrong with them!!

Just another hard selling fake granite company. Salesman spent 3 hours trying to force us to sign a contract that night. We decided to get other opinions and are glad that we did. We found another contractor that installed real granite for much cheaper and he was much more competent.

My master bath bathtub cracked on me. I was looking to just replace my tub. I received a few estimates to replace it and was looking to add a little more appeal to the bathroom. I am very happy I decided to go with Granite Transformations. Between the estimate I received from them and the pictures of prior work they have performed...I gotta say, the pictures do not do justice. Thank you GT for an astonishing remodel!

We walked into Granite Transformations and Steve greeted us and told us about quartz counter tops. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly. We made an appointment that day for them to come up and give us a bid. Keaton was the salesman, He was pleasant and knew his product. Needless to say we now have our countertops and love them! What a joke of a company! I scheduled a free consultation where a salesman (Daren I think?) shows up. First off, he comes in and asks house, then starts walking in other areas of the house trying to peek around. Creepy. Then, he asks if my husband was home. I thought that was weird. He then told me that on the phone they were supposed to tell me that both people were supposed to be home and I told him they didnt. He got into some thirty minute sales pitch about how I can drop a bowling ball from their product and it wont break (well, I dont normally juggle my bowling balls in the kitchen so I am probably safe), then he gives me a book and tells me to pick out colors. I politely remind him that I just need an estimate for now, and at this point hes mentioned that he can come back with my husband there which I ignored. After 30 minutes and him still trying to present, he goes to his car to get samples. I tell him, I really just need a price and he says do you need your husband here to pick out the color. I SNAPPED. I told him that was the fourth time he mentioned me needing my husband. He knew exactly what he was doing (because he later told me thats how they are trained) and got this embarrassed smile on his face and said oh reallly? I continued to tell him I was plenty smart and capable and I didnt need my husband to get an estimate. I told him I was NOT going to sign a contract with him tonight and I was never planning on it and all I needed was a price! I told him how completely rude and inappropriate he was being with the husband comments (not to mention creepy)! His tail dropped between his legs at this point and he picked up his things and said OK, Ill go to my car and write up your estimate and knock on your door when Im done. THANK YOU, thats what I need. When he knocked on the door, he apologized, and explained thats how they are trained to sell (dear shady Granite Transformations, your potential customers are WAY smarter than you train your dirty salesmen to think they are). I told him that I could be a single mom and not have a husband or that I could be a lesbian and not have a husband! He didnt know what to say so he just left. Oh, and the estimate, $7,000 + for an average size kitchen! Yeah right, I dont believe in your product enough to pay that much!

Absolutely had a great experience from start to finish with Granite Transformations! Their sales rep, installers and management were all in sync and truly allowed us to feel at ease with the process. Our kitchen remodel consisted of new countertops, backsplash, sink and faucet all in which were installed in just a couple days. Cant say enough good things about the people and the process...oh and were thrilled with the finished product!

I had a horrible experience just trying to book a consultation. The agent called me after I submitted an online inquiry. I told him that I wanted my cabinets refaced and when we started to schedule a time for someone to come, this was the dialogue:Granite Transformations Employee- What time will your spouse be available?Me- Why does he need to be there?Employee- Its better for the salesman if the decision maker is there.Me- What? Seriously?I was so flabbergasted, I didnt know what else to say and hung up.I will not do business with a misogynistic company.

I am updating my review because Granite Transformations has made things right. I posted a review early listing the various problems we were having with our countertops but since then they have done their best to make things right. It was a struggle getting there: It took nearly 2 years, but they have lived up to the warranty. They replaced our countertops and a sink because of some errors that occurred in the initial installation. We are happy now not only with the product but the installation as well Thank you Adam and Steve for making things right.

I contacted Granite Transformations a few weeks ago to schedule a free in-home consultation. Im interested in re-modeling my upstairs bathroom and also wanted to get some pricing for new kitchen countertops. Granite Transformations caught my attention because they offer same day re-modeling services with no need for demolition. For countertops, one of the unique things they do is create a custom granite overlay that fits right over your existing countertops. That way there is no need to remove the existing countertops, so the remodel takes less time and there is a minimal amount of mess.The next work day I received a call back from Granite Transformations. The woman on the phone was very nice and helped me find a date that worked for my schedule. She told me the appointment would take about an hour.Fast forward to today, the date of my free in-home consultation. In summary, Im verydisappointed by how the consultation went. Alex, the sales representation from Granite Transformations, was extremely pushy and his attitude was off-putting. He was not willing to show me the presentation without my wife in the room, even after I told him that she wasnt interested in seeing it and that I already knew what she liked. To be honest, my wife doesnt like being sold on something and certainly doesnt like pushy salespeople.She wants to do some remodeling, but she trusts me to handle the details because I always consult with her before making the final decision.Alex explained that without my wife in the room I wouldnt be able to make a decision today and he said he wanted to close the sale today. I told him that I wasnt prepared to make a decision today and that instead I wanted to learn about available options fromGranite Transformations and the costs involved. He told me several times to just call back when I was ready to buy and seemed irritated that I wasnt planning to buy today. When I asked him to continue with the presentation he refused, and again told me to call back when I was ready to buy. He went on to say that because Im also in sales I should understand, but honestly I dont.Im not prepared to make a decision without first doing my research and learning about the available options. I would think that would be expected. That is why I schedule the free in-hone consultation. After all, there aremany companies who do kitchen and bathroom re-modeling and I want to make sure I get exactly what I want and at a competitive and affordable price.After my brief, but very unpleasant experience this morning with Granite Transformations in Sandy, I will not be calling them back.
