Well, I was nervous at first, I’m not the type to shop at a Macy’s but with homecoming on its way I would have to brave the art of finding a suit. I went on my way, in a new found territory. I admit, I was lost, but I was pleasantly surprised when a worker, Lauren T, came to my aid. She had seen my distraught expression and without even asking she came ready to help. That was not the only thing that impressed me, Lauren was both kind and enthusiastic about helping me shop. I will tell you, the best aspect of a store is not it’s merchandise but its staff. The most memorable shopping experiences I’ve had all have great customer service. Lauren sets a great standard for an employee willing to go far beyond the efforts of a regular worker. I’m impressed by Macy’s amazing staff and will not hesitate to walk into another Macy’s.

This location has always been well stocked and organized. We were able to easily find what we were looking for and there were conveniently located changing rooms to try on our items. However, it is pretty pricey. Even with a lot of their items on sale they were overpriced.

Macys at Fashion Place in Murray, Utah is the place to shop. When I walked in I could easily see the store is clean and a relaxing place to visit.This store has a great selection of ladies and mens clothing to get us ready for this new season. There is also a large cosmetics and jewelry area to browse on the first floor. The second floor has a home shopping area with a great selection of bedding and everything I need for the kitchen.Picking up or returning online orders is simple to do at their dedicated counter just inside the parking lot door. Curbside delivery is also available at this location.

Great Macy’s lots of space pretty big, cool vibe. Got some shirts and cologne. They have all the stuff here so you should check it out.

Had a quick peek at Macys to check out the mens suits. Unfortunately, the options are slim at this location but its worth checking anyway. You can usually find good deals if you check back often.

I love shopping here. The atmosphere is great, prices are reasonable, and the workers are very helpful! I can’t help myself from buying something every time I’m here.

Sometimes they have affordable prices. You have to go at the right time. There are some very solid promotions and deals at various times of the year. Highly recommend this store. Wide variety.

I dont know if its my appearance or just the lack of customer service but I can never get anyone to help me in shoes or fragrance. It always turns out to be such a bummer to be looked past when you can see there at least five employees doing nothing. As it turns out I can order the Steve Madden shoes I wanted for $10 less online. That way I dont have to worry about the poor customer service issues from such an expensive store.

Permanently closed. They renovated the store to just close it a year later. It was down hill after the renovation. You could no longer purchase things they would previously carry. They use to be very accommodating. Then you would ask them to order things in and the manager would say that they could no longer get that. On a few occasions I would stop in another Macys or Dans and find the item I was looking for. I wish the Macys that existed before the renovation never never left.

One of the last in Northern Utah. Vast varieties of name brand products for all styles.

I had not been to this particular Maceys store in several years, and this visit only included doing some returns for a previous purchase my wife made and a bit of browsing with my teen in the juniors and womens section.I found the store to be very clean and the merchandise was presented in a tidy and appealing manner.The customer service desk (where my wife did the return) was sufficiently staffed and she had a short wait of maybe 5 to 10 minutes max.There was a good selection of various apparel pieces, in different sizes, colors, brands and designs, which is good if youre not exactly sure what youre looking for.I didnt find there to be a whole lot of emoloyees on the sales floor, but this could be due to pandemic hiring shortages, but we didnt need assistance with sales this visit - just the returns.In summary: Clean and well organized store, good selection of merchandise. not crowded, flawless visit.

I forgot what it was like to be in stores. Lots of lovely merchandise, some staff very friendly, some ok. Docking a star because the mens section was in absolute dissaray and we couldnt find pants we wanted because it was difficult trying to find the right size in the pile of unfolded items. I only went this one time though, so if its not the same next time I go, Ill add the fifth star.

I am happily surprised to see more help in the entire store, from customer service throughout the store to more registers open.

I bought a perfume from them last month and it is very bad. It does not stick to the clothes and the perfume never stays in a place. They cheat the perfume. I think it should be diluted with water. One day I will report these expensive, fraudulent perfumes.

Great items, I especially loved the home goods department. They need a couple more registers open though, we had to hunt them down to check out.

The mens suit department has a decent collection of suits, but this Macys store has no one to help you. They also do not provide a changing room for you to try on a suit.

Great employees kept me laughing and that caused me to spend more and buy extra stuff I didnt plan on, but, probably needed.

I can see why the company is failing the prices are way too high and it took me 45 minutes to find someone to ring me up. If I didnt have a gift card I would have gone somewhere else!

Busy Christmas shoppers, but a staff member saw me looking around, and before I could locate someone to help me, she was there and asked how she could help me locate what I was looking for. As fast as I got my words out, she pointed me in the direction, floor, and told me what department! Fabulous! Thank you!

Nice new location. I dont think its as large as many other locations but it still has a pretty good selection of certain items.

Fantastic dress selection. Found the perfect gown for my special occasion and staff member Jean in the social dress section was extremely professional and helpful.

No one in sight. I wanted to buy some intimates, but there was no one in this department to help me with finding the correct item. When I finally found a salesman they said they couldnt help me but some in the childrens department could. Good grief. I just took my money and went to a different store in the mall.

Store was clean and not too busy. The clerks at the perfume counter were nice and informative. The only reason Macys did not receive a five star rating is because of limited stock on certain perfumes.

While shopping at Macys an employee told me that I had to wear my face covering over my nose or leave the store. She continued to argue with me as I told her your sign says masks required but no where does it say that my nose has to be covered. I told her that while walking around the mall that I couldnt get enough air with my nose covered. I eventually just walked away from her.A few minutes later a gentleman walked up to me to tell me the same thing. He stated that I was putting him in danger for not covering my nose, all while he was 3ft from me instead of the 6ft recommended by health officials.On my way out I told a so called manager what had happened and she couldnt have cared less. I shopped thoughout the mall that day, and not one other person complained about my nose being out of mask. Everyone has the right to express their feelings or thoughts, NO one has the right to tell other that they have to do something based only on their opinion. Beware of the mask fascists at this Macys.

Its a huge beautiful store. Its small dog friendly. Thats a requirement for us. On the way in, we met a sales associate that was very nice, and I suspect is one of those rare helpful kind. We made it upstairs to look at what my wife was looking for.We were the only shoppers in the department. It was just after opening, and COVID is likely keeping things slower. There was three associates standing at the register 20 feet away. One gave a perfunctory stop by to see things were ok somewhere 5-10 minutes after we started to shop. Weve found customer service is not a strong suite for Macys over the last few years.Normally, we shop Nordstroms, but in this case Macys had a better selection of what we were looking for. We found it, bought it, and left. As we left we both knew why we normally shop Nordstroms. Yup, Im old school. Im willing to pay a few shekels for quality service and advice from a good store. Macys is not that store, although the store itself is very nice.

The place was huge than a normal Macy’s. Has two stories, and 6 sections (prefume, mens clothes, women’s dresses, etc.). The staff were nice some spoke spanish and helped us with what we needed help with. Would come back

Coming from California I was expecting a small, no frills Macys but was pleasantly surprised. Nice large departments with lower end to high end clothing and accessories. Huge jewelry and watch selections. Lots of close-in parking. Macys is one of three anchor stores here with Nordstroms and Dillards being the other two. Very friendly and helpful staff, just remember to look up when entering to remember what side of the store you parked on.

Macys is great place to shop. They have a great selection of mens clothing. Im sure the womans clothing is fine too my wife likes it. The Price is a little on the high side but the quality is good. Everyone that works here is always very polite and attentive.

Best makeup counter experience I have ever had. Annika my sales girl, had the best knowledge of all the products that suited my purchase for my wife. If youre lucky shell help you out.

Very nice, clean store in an easy to find and park mall. The store was well staffed unlike the Macys near us in California. Sales associates were great. Coupons and deals are always available. I highly recommend this Macys.

I came to home department and was looking for a store associate and thankfully I found one named Nikoy. He helped me find a specific bedroom set for my mothers new renovated room. It was a last minute gift and I just felt so relieved, good customer service!!

I bought a mattress from the Macys location at State Street in the Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah on about 4/23/2019. I exchanged the mattress for another mattress on 6/20/2019. Macys picked up the old mattress from my house and brought a replacement mattress. The cost difference was approximately $2014.00 which Macys owed me. After a month I contacted Macys customer service about the refund of my money. Macys sent me to their Macys credit department. They were not helping me they were just bouncing me around to different people and I was not able to get anything resolved or any information besides I need to make a monthly payment or I would receive late fees. (Macys owed me money??) I was finally told that Macys would give me the money but I could not spend it yet. (??) Then Macys told me that Macys did not owe me anything and that they did not have a record of my original mattress being returned. Then Macys made me go to the bank and get my statement and send Macys all of the information that I had stating that I returned the mattress. Macys required my bank account information when I went to my bank which did not make me feel comfortable but I did it. I am 86 years old and this event nearly caused a nervous breakdown. I finally received a check from Macys on October 21, 2019. That is almost 6 months of misery that I went through with Macys. I would not recommend doing business with Macys to anyone due to my experience. I will not shop at Macys in the future.

Hundreds and hundreds of people were at the valley fair mall its a covid 19 hot spot it was Sunday I mean kids moms dads. Grand parents all decided to shop, not even a place to park if I would of known all of Utah was going . I wouldnt of returned my top .

Came in on 01/05/2020 to by a new suit. Not a single store worker was anywhere near the men’s clothing, the payment kiosks nearby, or further down near the kids section. It was as if the entire part of the store had been abandoned. After walking to the perfume section, a female worker helped me. She’s the saving grace of my experience. This was the first time I’ve ever seen a department store without any staff.

I always get excellent Customer Service when shopping at Macys. Today I bought Coco Chanel fragrance and when I ask where the fragrance department was at I was escorted to the department and introduced to a representative that help assist me in my purchase. Gotta love that type of Customer Service!

I personally find everything here to be cheap quality and way overpriced. Its basically where soccer moms go to feel like they are treating themselves, but in reality are just wasting money that could be saved by getting things anywhere else. The only reason I even have to come here is because my wifes foundation is only sold here. Not the place for me, but I guess others might like it.

The era of department store shopping is rapidly coming to an end. Macys is among the very best of a fading concept. Quality merchandise, great selections, attractive space. A little pricey, but somebodys gotta pay the rent.

I found black pants and a white top. Both had gold touches on them. No deals. But my card had $10.00 Star money. $ under 12.00.. that was good.

I’d expect Ray Charles to help guide me up Mount Everest rather than the lazy Staff at this location. Useless, to say the least. I mean I literally watched people steal stuff and walk right through the armed doors with sensors. Another family actually noticed and we had quite the chuckle noticing not one employee came to see what or why the alarm was disarmed. NOTE TO SELF. GREAT STORE FOR PETTY THEFT.

Older lady at the counter told me she could not return a pair of shoes that was bought 2 weeks earlier. Walked over to another counter and another younger man helped me with no problems... and a confused look on his face because even he couldnt believe she wouldnt help me.

The May Company has nice merchandise. The staff is always attentive to be sure I am finding everything alright but they let you shop. They dont hover and are not pushy to sell.

Wow this place is amazing! Im always satisified with the quality of food and the amazing service!! They have awesome deals and prepackaged foods are 50% off after 4pm! What an awesome deal. The manager Jackie is awesome! Shes so kind and funny.

Macys where is all your staff?!?We came in to buy a pair of shoes, but as with most department stores you have to have a staff pull your shoe size. Well, that would have been fine if there was staff there. We found one lady after two minutes of finding no one. She was also the one responsible for checking out 3 other people that had been waiting. I waited in line for 10 minutes. The whole time keeping an eye out for ANY other staff that might be able to help. None to be found.When I finally got to the front, she laughed and said not likely they would have my size. When she came back she didnt have my size, but she didnt attempt to find one of another color so that I could try it on and then order it or anything.The most purely run department store I have ever been in. I wanted to try another pair in, but cringed at the idea of going through that process again.

Allot of great designer clothes, but their sizes run very small. Not allot of options for the average typical women and the clothes are quite pricey unless you go during a sale time.

Even discounts have coupons have sales days. Why the markup? Just have everyday low prices. Then, do it all again. This place is going downhill.
