My experience was awesome!! The staff is very friendly and kind and the doctor took a tremendous amount of time with me to make sure I understood everything about my hearing aids! Although I may need a refresher when I go back just because I learn better by writing things down...hahaha..lol! I feel like I can call them anytime and ask a question or anything and they will be there for me and that is reassuring!!! I completely recommend Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance for all of your hearing aid needs!!!!

Dr. Curtis is amazing and he gives exceptional service. He is extremely knowledgeable and excellent in programming hearing aids. He always spends as much time as I need answering my questions and explains everything on my level of understanding. He even came out to my car to help me with programming by bluetooth. The office was very nice and relaxing. The receptionist is so sweet and nice. Dr. Curtis is so nice and takes the time to explain things to his patients. My grandma brings them treats.

So far, it has been a week. My Rocky Mountain Hearing Specialist has already contacted me and an appt set for next week to go over and fitting or use questions. I like that...My initial impressions was that the office space was efficient and well managed.The Specialist was very professional, polite and empathetic with my lack of hearing episodes and experiences.The testing and fitting were easy and done to my liking.So far, my experience has been positive. It will take time to get used to these devices and operating the levels on my phone... But overall glad I made the choice, to try them, for the time given to make my decision to or not keep or try a different style...☺️

Dr Chris Curtis is undoubtably the best audiologist I have been to. He takes the time to diligently program my hearing aids like I have never experienced before. I was able to try the different hearing aids before making my decision as to which was the best fit for me. He contacted me several times to inquire how things were working for me. He was so thoughtful and helped me have the hearing aid app dialed in on my phone for my needs. His staff is just as amazing as he is, always polite and helpful. I truly can’t say enough about Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance. So glad I found them.

My primary care Dr. at the U of U referred me to Rocky Mtn Hearing and Balance for analysis and treatment of Vertigo. My experience with Dr. Taylor Chafin was outstanding. She was thorough, insightful, knowledgeable, patient, and gentle when appropriate. She continually explained what she intended to do, and then explained again while she was treating me. Moreover, Dr. Chafin repeatedly followed up with me after each appointment.I highly recommend Rocky Mtn Hearing and Balance Center in general, and Dr. Taylor Chafin in particular.

Excellent experience. Dr. Taylor Chafin was extremely thorough, caring, personable and professional. She is very informed and helpful. I was seen for hearing and balance testing, including a vng. I was very nervous when I got there. My conditioned me very concerned. The receptionist put me at ease right away. They emailed the forms I needed so they were ready when I got there.Dr. K was reassuring and confident which added to my ease. 2 hours of testing, everything was reported to my G. P.Over all this was a good and comforting experience. Now I know how to prevent anything more serious and know what to watch for.

I have met with Dr. Storey on four occasions and was totally impressed by how conscientious she was to get to the bottom of my dizziness issues. Then I met with her business partner, also an audiologist, and owner of the clinic, Dr. Chris Curtis, who was equally impressive. My problem is unusually complicated and it required their very vest efforts which I have received consistently at this clinic. If you are looking for Audiologists with a specialty in Dizziness issues I do not believe you could do any better. I repeatedly feel that I am in the most competent and professionally caring hands possible

Rocky Mountain Hearing is the best! Excellent hearing aids can be bought many places but what sets this place apart is Chris takes time to set them up correctly. He also takes time to follow up and teach and adjust as much as it takes. He shows you all the features and reviews to make sure you can take advantage of every feature. The Resound hearing aids and world class service have changed my daily life. He also correctly communicates with your insurance so you get the features you need. 5 stars not nearly enough for this place!!!

This is a great audiological office. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.My doctor, Dr. Karyn Storey, is very thorough. I may be an outlier but my vertigo symptoms were relieved right away. I cannot say enough good about this place and the people.

Ive had hearing aids for almost twenty years and have seen several hearing specialists during that time. I finally found a great audiologist that was my go-to, but due to distance I had to find another one. Although I was anxious to go to another audiologist, I took the risk after reading the reviews and went to Dr. Curtis. The reviews are not exaggerating at all. He is exceptional and I could not have asked for anyone better. Later, I came to find out he received his training from that other great audiologist I used to see. He is everything you could hope for in an audiologist, especially in the fact that he genuinely cares and has your best interest at heart.

I so love having this doctor being my audiologist. Doctor Curtis has a heart of gold and will do whatever is necessary to accommodate my needs so that I can not only have an enjoyable movement and seeing effects but to be able to hear what is going on round about me. After realizing that my hearing was not what it should be, I knew I had to do something soon. I had a hearing test done and was told I would be a good candidate for hearing aids. Financing $1700 was not even an option so I started my search for the right place to go and found Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance. Made the call and spoke with Melanie who set me up with TaNeil. They were so pleasant and actually seemed to CARE about ME. During my appointment, I was immediately put at ease and the whole experience was wonderful. Walked out with a new set of hearing aids and was AMAZED at how well I could HEAR!!!

Dr. Storey is very personable, professional and conscentious. The staff its also very friendly and proactive in taking care of my needs. Perhaps most important, my hearing is much better. I dont miss out on family discussions as I used to.Highly recommended!

My mom used the Lyric Hearing Aids for several years - they were a god-send! Because of her arthritic hands she wasnt able to deal with the daily operations a regular hearing aid. Dr. Curtis fitted her with the Lyrics and theyve been wonderful - as much for us as for her! The staff was always helpful and was able to see her when needed. I suggest any older person with hearing issues check out the Lyric Hearing.

Dr. Karyn Storey is great! The receptionist was warm and friendly, the doctor made the weird experience of needing hearing aids understandable and the office is very pleasant. They even keep snacks. Id recommend this office and specifically this doctor.

Dr. Curtis gave me hope for my tinnitus / hearing loss. Ive visited other audiologists in the past only to have them provide the standard hearing test and try to sell hearing aids...not Rocky Mountain Hearing & Balance. Dr. Curtis gave me an extremely thorough evaluation with lots of options to help with my tinnitus instead of just trying to make a sale on a hearing aid. He went out of his way to spend ample time discussing all options. My husband and I drove 40 minutes for this appointment and it did not disappoint. We will be back!

Dr. Storey was very thorough and took time to explain all the tests and helped my daughter with referrals to vestibular rehab and some great ENTs.

Chris took me in right away and replaced my lyric hearing aid he did an excellent job.Then the next day I had some buzzing so I call the office and Melanie told me to come in right away and see Karen. I did and Karen put the lyric in a little deeper and fixed the problem. great company really enjoy working with you guys

I was very impressed with my care provider. She is the first doctor that has been willing (and trained) on the Epley manuver, and to know when the procedure took effect for me. My balance was restored before I left your clinic. Five thumbs up!

She made me feel comfortable and was knowledgeable and professional. She did more than just run tests.... she treated me with compassion and respect. She answered all my crazy questions and addressed my concerns. As an athlete and DPT I give this fantastic facility the highest recommendation. We are lucky to have the best right here in Utah!!!

After a long time of trying to convince my dad that he needed hearing aids, he finally bought some very cheap ones that didnt work very well. He wore them long enough for the warranty to expire and when it did the company he bought them from wouldnt help him. I called Rocky Mountain Hearing to see if they could help. The staff and doctors were so kind and helpful. They got him in right away and helped him with the adjustments needed for the hearing aids to work properly. They had him come back as many times as needed to make sure they were working correctly. I couldnt have asked for better service or nicer people to work with.

I suffered from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) after a craniotomy for an acoustic neuroma. My neuro-otologist, Dr. R. Gurgel from the U of U Hospital referred me to Dr. Karyn Storey at Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance. I was so off balance and the world would spin if I turned my head. It was only a matter of time before I would fall and likely hit my head or break a bone.I did have some serious falls. I think I waited too long to be assessed. I am so glad I was referred to this practice. I freely write this review as I want to convey to this great group of people how their thoughtfulness and professionalism gave me a sense of relief that I was in the right place. I had so many questions. As an RN, I needed this stuff in my head and ears to make sense. I just dont take someones word for it. Dr. Storey was EXCELLENT in the detail and time she took to explain to me! This takes such patience and I appreciate her so much. Then came the treatment of canalith repositioning. At first I thought, this has got to be some hokus pokus. (look up the treatment procedure). However, BPPV is a real condition. It is thought that my 8 hour brain surgery where I was positioned head down and turned just one way caused problems to my otoliths. The treatment that was performed worked! I went in for two. Each time, it took a gentle caring hand and arm to help me learn how to do the canalith repostioning procedure. I have only periodic dizziness now maybe once a month due to the injury to my vestibular system from the tumor. I no longer suffering from the vertigo every day. Such a relief! These folks know what they are doing. Their office is clean and orderly. Parking is easy. Melanie Pace in the front office is very attentive. She is obviously a busy person in this practice. The staff here is very nice. They made me feel very comfortable when dealing with my dizziness. The best part is, the treatment they provided has corrected the issues I was experiencing with dizziness and balance!

BPPV is the worst--my brain absolutely hates that sensation. But Drs. Storey and Hudson (I think that was her name) were fantastic, caring, and friendly. Awesome care and service!

Drs Curtis,Dr Storey & Office Mgr Melanie saw patients that just walked in the door with hearing aid issues & they would quickly assist them. .which is amazing & extremely convenient especially for people here just on vacation!
